No, cultist was hit hard by Choir and Adray finished unfortunate fella off with the first heavy hit. The corridor is yours again, if only for a sometime - the group ahead become louder for a moment, but then silence returned.

"Now that that is done, lets continue to do what we came here for.  The longer we remain here, the better the odds that more come," he says to the others.  He looks at some of the options and says, "East or West?  East maybe?"

Fran would shrug, "I'm good with west."

...and decides to let someone else decide.

“I told you, I always vote left. That way we can always find our way back again.”

Ordrag heard the sound of a creature to the east, and suggests going to investigate that first, rather than have danger at their backs.

(Ordrag and Adray should be close to the corner anyway, so at least wait until they have a peek)

You are closer to the east end of the corridor now (some of you - Adray and Nibs, red dot on the map), others are by the secret door which is jammed. The growling sound came from that - lower eastern - end of the corridor as well (red star on the map). For the moment the tunnels are clean, besides the bodies of the cultists with the golden masks).

Choir follows along, crossbow in hand, as they get closer to the growly red star.

Fran would listen closely to see if she could recognize the sound of the growl. She'd move forward to peek around the corner if no one else does.

Adray tries to signal, quietly that he and Nibs were going to take a quick peek but he wasnt sure if it got across.  Sneaking quietly, he peeks around the corner.

Stealth might not be that necessary - robes and masks were still covering those ahead of the group and fresh blood was not that visible on black (and probably not that important to begin with). When those disguised of you turned right (Reya guarded the rear - she did not like the open space behind), you saw that corridor goes further north barely 25ft ending in yet another intersection. And in the middle of it stands a broad-shouldered figure with purple skin and a beard of writhing snakelike tentacles, tightening its grip on a glaive as it glares at you quite suspiciously. A ring of keys hangs from the creature’s belt, jingling with every impatient move creature makes. After several seconds of glaring creature growled something with the question in it, and Fran recognized Infernal: "What is happening?"

Adray stared at the creature and was for once was glad he had the mask.  Having no idea what he said he tried to think of something logical.  What would be appropriate to say...  he just winged it.  Loudly he said,  "There are intruders that way.  Come help us capture them."  He could only hope the others would catch his intent and prepare.

Fran would support Adray by shouting out in the best infernal she could muster, “Well don’t just stand there, come help us!”

 The creature looked agitated but convinced. Still it hesitated to just run to the party. You feel a heavy presence in your mind -whoever it is, it can speak telepathically: "I should not leave the prison. SHE order to guard." Creature does not look that bright but most likely is dutiful.

Ordrag isn't too keen on voices in his head, but it occurs to the half-orc that if the creature is guarding a prison then the big-shot guy from Elturel might be held captive in there. He plays along with the deception...

That's all right, fella. You go help, me guard it until you get back, eh? 

Ooc: I’m a little lost.. 😅 can we get a map of where everyone is right now? 

Polly will stay beyond the group and hide behond Reya since the last time she triss to help, the enemy got suspicious. 

Choir will also attempt to stay hidden, due to her last attempt at deception not working so well...

As she trips and her chain mail jingles like sleigh bells, she hopes that there's a suit of mithral armor in her future.

 The voice in Ordrag's head managed to growl: "You are lying! Who are you? Are you the intruder?! I will rip you apart!" Melodic sound of Choirs armor against the floor attract creatures attention to Brutus and did not add much trust to already questionable relations. Fran and Adray got wave of hatred exploding in their heads followed by words "give me the intruder!" and fiend (who else could it be?) growled again and began sniffing - "Fresh blood... Mmmm... very fresh. Bring intruder to my cells".
