Twiglet finally looks down at the suspect puddle....and wishes he hadn't

Twiglet, very aware that they may have little time, waves at the others to drag Walter back into the sarcophagus room, then scatters whatever breakable rubbish he can find in the Northern corridor and, finally, closes the Northern door. If the Northern door opens towards the room, he also wedges a wad of material cut from the red cloak of one of the thugs under the door. That should mean anyone coming from there will make noise in the corridor and take longer to open the door...especially if they are not expecting anything or trying to move quietly.

Then he helps to search the bodies and move them into the cage as best he can

Twiglet finds 98cp on the enemies

Ro patches up and restrains Steve but leaves the rest to bleed out. The north cell is probably getting pretty full with 4 unconsious thugs lying tied up on the floor. She locks them in and then goes to let the slaves out. She hands them their clothes, but then when the kid isn't looking she hands a discarded sword to one of the adults and looks meaningfully at the four thugs still left bleeding on the floor.

While she waits for the slaves to leave she checks the locked armory door for traps: 13 (rolled in the chat)

The older woman thanks you again and says "Could you look for my husband? They took him away a while ago and he hasn't returned."

They leave after you tell them that Halia should be able to help them.

"It do no bring honor to yerself t' let these men die. The townsfolk should decide their fate" He stabilizes the fallen as best he can and helps lock them up to deal with later.

He'll search their pockets for the key so that they won't be able to just unlock the door and escape if they come around.

Twiglet manages to pick the lock to the armory. Inside racks of weapons line the walls, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door.

While they wait for Humblodt and Tally to escort the slaves out of danger, Ro and Twiglet drape a cloak over Steve and then drag him out of the cell and into the middle of the sarcophagus room. Ro sits on his chest and slaps him awake.

Twiglet thinking it best I taking your cloak and we seeing what boneymen doing then. [She gestures to Twiglet, and he peels back the cloak until they hear the skeletons start to shift and then puts it back.]

I thinking I taking away pieces of face. [She places the blade of a dagger up against the base of his nose - not hard enough to start cutting but if he sneezes it would be messy in the worst way.]

The bugbear pales, his eyes flicking between the knife, Roars and Twiglet. "There are two more of us bugbears here. I don't know about the red bugs. We only arrived yesterday so I only seen the puny wizard once when he greeted us. I don't know where he is. The red bugs ain't no friends of us. King Krol told Mosk to round up some of us and come to this tiny town and help them find some dwarf that idiot Klarg couldn't catch."

Who is Mosk? Why Krol is wanting this dwarf? Why redbugs is helping Krol?

Tallanvor and Humbolt ponder what sort of creature this daemon could refer to. Humbolt offers guidance and helps Tallanvor ponder the possibilities (adding advantage)

Tallanvor thinks deeply about demonic lore. The description Jasper and Horace gave doesn't sound infernal. Cyclops and the ability to read thoughts narrows it down to a handful of creatures, the most common of which is a nothic, the worst being the dreadful unspeakable horror known only as a llama.

It's rapidly becoming clear that Steve isn't going to be massively useful to them. Ro grabs him by the hair and bounces his head on the floor, knocking him unconscious. Then she and Twiglet return Steve to the cage to replace him with one of the Redbrands. They do the same Good Cop/Bad Cop/Psycho Cop routine to intimidate him: 25
