Taman, barely able to keep his bile down at the smell, continues towards the door they were told about. He tells himself to get the thing they were after, then they can see about other doors and what might be behind them.

Cimeri practically felt seconds dripping away - those who came with them were probably facing lich right now, may be dying, while their group crawled here in search of phylactery. Dragon clearly said "door to the right" - there was no time to check anything else. She looked at their target trying to figure out any traps: Perception3
Scoria whispers, pitching her voice as low as possible “Door to the right, yes? Do we try our luck and sneak, hope we can pick the door quickly - or distract the ghouls? I’ve a hunting trap in my bag, but I don’t know how appetising they’ll find dry rations”
Flynn leans closer, guiding his spectral hand across the door as the others back away quietly, watching the ghouls devour their meal. Nothing happens as he does so, and he turns back to Cimeri. "Go for it? Unless others have ideas? Guidance...?"

A wailing specter shrieks from behind one of the pillars, phases through it in a burst of energy and advances on Cimeri!
Oh! The dragon did warn them about a ghost! But Cimeri was so concentrated on the lock, she forgot all about it and now shamefully was againg caught unprepared.

This looks serious - Scoria will rage - becoming deathly, furiously focused on killing this damn spirit, the ghouls and everyone else in this godforsaken place. She doesn’t scream or shout, but her eyes are black as the obsidian she placed in Master Ziman’s grave.
Glaive attack on the spirit - Attack: 9 Damage: 15

Flynn lets out a terrified yelp and releases a torrent of freezing air at the creature; it howls in icy pain, and counters by grabbing his throat. All watch in horror as
... Flynn's flesh begins to dessicate, years blurring out of his life; his body falls as the specter laughs, Flynn's lifeless shell collasping to the ground.
"NO!" shouts Taman, loosing a green glowing bolt into the ghost, embedding itself in the creature before phasing through it and falling to the floor.
Cimeri leaps forward missing with a swipe of her shortsword and connecting with a palm strike... except that her hand flows through the creature, doing nothing.
Scoria rages forward, levelling a blow to take the specter's head clean off...but her glaive passes through it.
Squelchy footsteps can be heard from the hall, racing toward the open door of the chamber...

[Totally get it. Things will eventually ramp up for me too!]
[Currently I have the four of you in front of the door and being quiet enough that the ghouls don't seem to notice you...yet]
Cimeri sees nothing odd at all about this door, in fact there are no skulls or krakens...
Cimeri whispered on the border of hearing: "Uncle Flynn, should you check it with that Magic Hand of yours first or do you want me to open it now?"

Guidance or no guidance, Cimeri tried to open the door - first by just pushing/pulling it, then with her tolls (she felt a thief already!): 9
Ghouls and stench made a bad working conditions. She tried again, slowly this time, reminding herself that precision makes the speed in this case.

Cimeri fails to unlock the door and curses quietly under her breath.
[all make further stealths, since you're standing in the open by the door and the ghouls might stop eating and look over... add the +10 from Scoria]

(Taman would have cast guidance on her, so please just add that in when appropriate. I cannot be online 24/7 always...)
Can we use the stealth rolls I did for Taman and Flyn already? I really liked those...
If not then:
Taman stealth: 30
Guidance: 4
Flynn stealth: 26
Nothing wrong with those rolls either.
Guideance on next attempt on door.... 3
Taman will also provide the help action on the attempt. (Should give advantage...)
Cimeri made yet another attempt: 23 +3
