Cyrus strokes his beard and nods to the harbormaster, turning back to his companions. "I'm amenable to that, though we could get the skin from Muldoon first. Know our options aft to fore."

"Ah just as well," Cyrus grins and casually peels Gaerich's hand off his shoulder, pointing the other at a red-haired elven child running by. "Hey kid," he calls out in elvish. "Which way to the market?"
The red-head elven urchin stops in his tracks at Cyrus's question. "Just beyond them buildings over there, mister," the kid says as he points in the general direction of the Bazaar and you all three head in that direction. As you head toward the Bazaar the smell of the sea is overtaken by the strong stench of spices, incense, and roasting food the closer you get. The sound of bells and sailors swearing fades into the yells of vendors yelling their prices and customer haggling over items. Upon entering the Bazaar you see there are stalls set up selling items ranging from local and exotic foods to fabricated clothes and textiles, a variety of weapons and armor, and stands where charlatans are trying to sell random potions, trinkets, and other stalls filled with men espousing their religious beliefs trying to find new converts.
Over near the section of salesman hawking potions, you all see Maggie walking away from a table with a linen sack resting over her shoulder.
Maggie
With a sack full of potions resting on your shoulder you're ready to head out to meet up with Gimble, but before you start walking over to Digby's Dungeoneering where she is you notice that Cyrus, Clavorus, and Gaerich, who is holding a flyer in his hand, have walked into the Bazaar.
Gimble
Gimble, you search hard through the piles and stacks of random material and you find a few things of interest to you. You find:
-An old broken mechanical toy of a raven -A busted music box -A few pieces of loose but sturdy copper
Digby examines the toy raven and smiles, "yes, it looks like a child's toy, but I imagine someone with a good imagination can think of something useful with this." He then picks up the music box, shakes it gently and hears the broken pieces. He opens it and blows the dust away and looks closer. "This is a real beauty. Probably sounded that way too, if it worked. It's like a mini bard in your pocket," he says with a smile. And then he handles the pieces of copper and nods, "solid material for a lady tinkerer like you." He then crosses his arms and does some minor calculations in his head and says, "I'll offer it all to ya for eight gold pieces."
"Ahoy Mags, bagged yourself a sailor? He's small in the sack don't you think?" Perfectly straight yellowed teeth flash behind Cyrus' coral-red beard as he calls out to Maggie. "Unless that's Gimble you've got in there." Cyrus saunters past an aromatic fish monger to meet up with the tiefling, breathing deeply and grinning while peering around for the gnome. "Your outing as fruitful as ours?"

“No sailor in the bag, Cy, but there soon will be. I’m looking at him now.” Maggie stares at Cyrus for a moment before bursting in laughter. “No, I believe Gimble’s in this shop.” She points at Digby’s Dungeoneering before continuing, “As for my outing, I got us some potions of healing. Took a lot of bargaining to lower them to an affordable price.”
Clavorus enjoys the sights and sounds of the market place. Seeing Maggie, he instantly searches for Gimble untill he hears where she is. He makes a beeline for the door and enters, curious to see what Gimble has purchased and to be on their adventure.
"Not a sailor at the moment I'm afraid," Cyrus replies, grinning. "But if the leads we found go well the wind's at my back again. Let's gather our last pair of arms and discuss, shall we?" Cyrus follows the others into Digby's.

Gimble excitedly hands over the 8 gold pieces thinking she has gotten a great deal, "Thank you Digby, I look forward to coming here again someday and showing you the treasures I find. My friends and I will be following in the foot steps of some guy named Rory. Ol' Salty seemed to know him and said we have a great adventure. It sounds like fun to me!"
Cyrus, Clavorus, Gaerich, and Maggie head in the direction of Digby’s Dungeoneering and as they turn the corner they see Gimble popping out of the store with a bag full of goodies. Reunited, the five of you head back to the Oar’s Rest to discuss further plans and to eat some lunch.
Oar’s Rest is actually crowded with a lunch rush full of sailors. Salty sits you five in the back booth and serves everyone a drink of their choice and offering of fried cod, roast pigeon, or baked clams.
“I’ll have a pigeon, Salty, thanks.” He looks at his friends. “Of all the options we’ve found I think the hunting expedition is our best bet. Missionaries and pleasure boats won’t hold up against the horrors of the island long.”
Before Salty walks away, Maggie asks for the fried cod. “Sounds about right. Missionaries would probably just pray to their gods while they get slaughtered. Speaking of the island’s horrors, I did some thinking ahead.” She places the sack on the table. “I got some potions of healing from the Bazaar.“
((She repeats this for Gimble, but the others already know.))
“I could only bargain for 4 potions, so everyone won’t get to carry one. I picked one out for myself, so it’s up to you to decide who doesn’t need it.” She takes a bite of the cod before remembering what else she was going to say. With a full mouth, she speaks. They can hear “Jus’ ‘eep in mind ’at this don’t mean ooh won’t be allow‘d to heal, jus’ ’at ooh won’t be ’oldin’ one.”
((For those who actually think this is gibberish, “Just keep in mind that this doesn’t mean you won’t be allowed to heal, just that you won’t be holding one.”))
((Was Gimble able to find another set of clothing or just what she found at Digby's?))
"Salty, may I get the pigeon please and a watered wine?"
Gimble takes out the raven toy and begins to tinker with it trying to discover what was broken and listens to the party. Gimble nods and says, "I will trust the group's judgement as to how we travel. I'm just excited to get this started."
((Either Perception or Investigation, I'm Not sure what bonus to apply to the roll in examining the toy, so it is just a straight roll 13))
Very surprised at the offer, quietly, she says "Maggie, those are expensive!" Then Gimble thinks quietly for a moment, "I appreciate the offer, but I think it would be best for the others to hold them. I just don't trust them with the other things in my pack, they may break."
After her food arrives, she begins to pick at it as she continues with the toy.
((Figures, where it probably doesn't help much I get a 20...))
Gaerich looks around for a waitress as he forgot to order an ale from Salty. He is visibly excited about the prospect of adventuring again. “Aye, salt sea, adventure, the unknown! Our fortune awaits us, favoring the bold!” He pounds a meaty fist on the table and smiles at his friends.
"Fish for me Salty. And ale." Cyrus looks around at his companions. "That's a great catch Mags, I'll take one of those if you don't mind. We talked around the docks and we have a couple options, one I like best. We could ship up with the VOTC though none of us feel particularly keen on being beholden to a mercantile mission. We could set sail with a group of missionaries, with the most freedom though we'd probably then be on our own when we reach the isle. Or we could take a contract from this Lord Hamsomething and his game hunter Muldoon, beholden but perhaps best protected."
After taking another bite of her cod, Maggie thinks for a moment, then speaks. “Missionaries and merchants don’t sound they would be useful once we’re on the island, but a lord and a game hunter might think we’re indebted to them for their assistance. I personally would not like to slave away for someone else, especially not a noble.” She asks for some more mead before turning back to her friends. ”Perhaps we can get some hired help on our terms.”
After ordering the fish and ale, Clavorus chimes in: "My main concern was being beholden to some other entity. I haven't explored this much of the world just to suddenly be told I can or can't keep what I find, or where to go. But the others are right in that the hunter would have the best set up for this type of exploration. Plus, we could possibly have a much more straightforward trip with him. The missionaries are only going to the Misty Archipelago, so if we went with them, we would have to look for further passage from that point. That may or may not be easy, I've never been there. The chances someone with more knowledge of the area would be greater there, though. I defer to the groups' decision... just know that if we get too many restrictions, I'll be looking for a way around them... That island seems full of mystery, promise of treasure, and a wealth of lost and ancient lore. I don't want anyone claiming hold to what we find other than us. "
Clavorus then wipes his mouth... "The fish is divine..Gimble, what is that fascinating crow you've found?"
Gaerich smiles a predatory smile “No one tells Gaerich, or his friends for that matter, where to go, Clavorus. We’ll set our terms as equals with this Hammand.” He looks over at Maggie’s crow and raises his eyebrows in interest.
