Caelfall is the nearest city with a Selune temple, its not closest city. 

Lyrant examines her Compass to see if there are any other details. “Mister Rhya said that Caelfall was the nearest city that worshipped Selûne. This compass points in the direction of Caelfall, as it is meant to, but does not provide distance. It could be very far. Should we seek out a guide, or perhaps someone more familiar with the valley than us? Or should we just get mounts to take in the direction to which the compass points?”

Investigation 9

Examining the Compass for Caelfalls compared to the other compasses, Lyrant noticed it was pointing up a bit more than the other compasses but no signs of distance can be found on the compasses. As you turn the compasses upside down, twist or move it, the needle will stablizes and pioint in same direction after a moment. 

Description, When closed, the compass looks like a normal compass but opens, the compass creates glass bubble where the needle with a red tip is suspended, pointing at the location. When closed, the bubble is compressed without an effort.

"Caelfalls, its one of the Legion's bigger cities up in the mountains. range. About 5 days travel I believe. Orasnou is in the woods, about 3 days if you can make it through the forest. Harmstead is really deep in the moutains, about a week travel,"

What is in Orasnu and Harmstead? 

"In that case I would like to suggest we travel Orasnou to start with just because it's close. What do you all think?", ask Barful.

"Orasnu, we get a lot of furs, belts and wood primarily from them. Harmstead I believe is a mining town, never had much business with them," Call of the Owl states," beside Cardinal, never heard of these spots,"

Gotchwill pull out each of the compasses and see if any are in the same direction as the one that points to Caelfalls.  If any are in that general direction he will ask the waitress if she knows if any of them are on the way to Caelfalls.

“If Orasnou is on the way to Caelfall, we could stop by there. I wish to convene with my lady’s followers, but if I am to be in this world for an indefinite amount of time, I may as well make the most of it. There must be a reason we ended up here, after all.”
