The Valley of Ends

Salys keeps his eyes on the floor as he responds, "We could possibly do this thing for you, your majesty, but could you give us any guidance as to where they may have taken it? We have no idea where they've gone."

"Where they are is shielded against my divination but they spoke of plans for my body, a host for something pitiful I beat. Barred me, me! from interfered as they took my body," she speaks," they created a portal and left as the entrance spun,"

Gotch conjures a glowing chair and sits down. "My lady, you should know we were hired to hold this place until our patron can arrive to reinforce the place against those who were here before we arrived." He nods to his companions. "We were too late to stop what they were doing before we got here, but, hopefully, our patron can make sure they do not return."

Salys looks to the others, “Does anyone have any idea how to track them?”

"If they did indeed create a portal to get out of here, I doubt there is anyway to track them, unless we were able to scry on the undead parts of her." Resfaen says as he points towards the ghost.

"My body is very much dead you ignorant son of a shoe," Thayihneh states as she waves her hand at Resfaen before a spell comes at her.

Resfaen Wis Save DC 17 or be Paralyzed for a minute (give me wis save until you save if you fail to see when you're back in)

"I do not expect you to achieve this task quickly but I have an eternality of rest when it is returned which I will like to return to. I doubt they would return, there is nothing else to take of value left. Whoever returns my body will receive my boon, be it you or your patron at the very least," Thayihneh states as she glides around the room, "They spoke of plans I do not believe they wish to hide with my body for long,"

Salys bows again to her, "By your leave, your majesty, we should probably head to the surface then and wait for our patron."

Give me a straight Charmisa check

side note, you may have to pull Resfaen out of the room. 

"What plans did they speak of?" Gotch asks before he leaves.

Resfaen Wis Save: 24

 [OOC: As a reminder, which I just reminded myself, everyone within 10' gets a +3 to their save due to Aura of Protection.]

"You blasphemous abomination to the living, how dare you attempt to attack me." As Resfaen once more raises her battleaxe and then presents her holy symbol, "Cower before the might of Kelemvor and be thankful I do not take any further actions for now."

Channel Divinity - Turn Undead: Wis DC 14 Save.

Thayihneh ignores Resfaen's action off handed and completely before turning to Gotch.

"A host for something powerful," Thayihneh states, "They need a body that was strong and the body of a witch queen is as strong as it gets," She turns back to Resfaen as she points her finger at her, "Althrik Aldhahniu," A stone slide on the wall behind Resfaen to reveal a hidden component where a wand flies into her hand, "Consider this a small gift for amusing me. Not valuable but it has it's uses, " The wand floating in front of Salys before she points her finger at Resfaen "Now Dance," She seem to have a mischievous smiles on her face as she does this. 

Resfaen make a strength check (not saving throw) vs 25

Resfaen is pulled into the air and made to spin vertical, then horizonal and just become a spinning ball for a bit before she sets her down.

OOC: Thayihneh is really far out of the party's depth. If she had actually failed against n turn undead, charisma check dc would have gone up.

The fury on Resfaen face as she is set back down is palpable as she raises her battleaxe and starts to slowly approach the ghost. She gets within 10' of the creature, the hatred burning in her eyes but then she stops. A thin menacingly grin spreads onto her face as she then winks at the ghost and turns around and silently leaves the room, waiting for the others to join her when they are ready.

Salys takes the wand with a bow and backs slowly out of the room, “Thank you, your majesty.” Once out of the room, he hurries to the surface before examining the wand.

Gotch would stand up and give the ghost a bow, then follow the others out.

Onyx will watch the whole display interrested and then bow to the ghost before following the others. 

Silently Resfaen follows Salys to the surface.

Fingolin says goodbye and follows the party to the surface, happy that a fight was avoided.

"I'll be here," The Witch Queen states as the party one by one departs away from the tomb. It takes a while to figures out how to get out with several rotation of the tomb before coming out the empty ruins above and a night sky. Setting up a camp and rotating guards, Resfaen gets a Sending from the high priest asking for details. After a quick rewsponse, the high priest informs you two days for the securing party to arrive. 

The two days pass restfully and without any particular events unfolding. It appears like the raiding party grab what they needed and do not wish to return. 

Does anyone want to do anything during the two days?
