I know, that's what I was saying. I don't know exactly what the map looks like so I'm saying you can determine that (assuming you have a map on your side to keep track). I want the point to be 20ft behind one of the groups of enemies, in a way that will entangle them but not my allies. if that isn't possible, then they can roll strength saves as well. I'll direct the spell to the group Resfaen is fighting.

Onyx sends the sabertooth tiger in with order to charge and assist Resfaen as Onyx switches weapons. The Saber-Toothed Tiger pounces at #3 in the vines.

I would like to know if Resfaen is entangled prior to making my action. Gotch could use Benign transpasition to get Resfaen out of the weeds, and then misty step himself out of there as well, so I want to know if that is needed prior to making my action.
(Forgot the tasha's caustic brew damage 3 at the start of their last turn as well as Saly's con save to maintain it 7: Spell is still up, so 3 acid damage to both the ones he hit.)
Salys would see Resfaen's plight and call out advice on how to dodge the vines' grip (Flash of Genius:+4 to the save brings it to 14 so he should be safe).
Salys then pulls up his pistol, taking more care aiming, and fires again, ordering Bearskr to keep his distance and [action]dodge[/spell] incoming fire.

warding bond also gives Res +1 to all saves which should stack with bless. Not that it matters this time. Rogi's AC is 19 so only one of the attacks hits. Concentration save: 9 Wow, forgot to add 1d4 to my own save, shameful.
Rogi will cast dispel magic on the vines entangling Res.
[OOC: So since I was restrained by both a grapple and then the spell they had advantage and disadvantage on attacks so a straight roll is used. If I am taking this correctly I would use the monsters first roll for attacks to see if they hit. So the only one that hits is the last attack by #5 which was a crit so I am taking 12 damage, unless you want to roll another die for damage - currently going to use 12 for my toon taking damage. And now with Saly's advice and the Dispel Magic I am no longer restrained from the vines but I am still grappled by #4 and #5 I think as I saved form the poison but the three attacks still hit, right?]

Resfaen freed from vines assaults the machines around, #34 takes the blunt of the attacks.Resfaen manages to avoid the spray of the green liquid as the machine breaks down from the blows and smites from Resfaen.
Onyx swings his scimitar but first stike bounces off the metal armor before Onyx makes up for it with his second strike doing good damage before the tiger comes in for a swipe.

Taking a quick look around, Rogi decided he didn't need to call on the goddess to heal anyone just now. Since one of the enemies was still trying to attack him, and not one of the others, he decided to take a chance of staying in range but concentrated on avoiding those attacks.
