Eastcliffe giving the party the runes to their circle is unique act. Citadel, maker of compass is not a Legion city. Robin would agree that trading the core is likely our best first step, then heading off to deal with this walking statue. She would take the scroll of teleportation circle, if no one objects, planning on scribing it into her spellbook the first chance she gets.
If you want to trade the oblex core, you'll need to set off animal back to get to trading post and regard whatever I said after you go through teleportation circle. Enammor is on other end of Legion land from Eastcliffe so need to go trade Core before going to Enamoor.
in terms of distance, Oblex core is closest, then walking Wizard Tower (teleportation circle) then citadael.

(I don't think we would waste the core by traveling elsewhere, since it is very sensative as far as time goes. If others don't agree, and just wish to forget about it, then I am perfectly willing to just head to walking tower.)
I was thinking that citadel as a big neutral city would be a good spot to find a buyer for the core. But I agree that not wasting time is the better option. Just before the lockdown ends and we go, I would go refresh the gentle riposte on the core. Also with the bag of codling it should hold some time.
[OOC: Res is fine with waiting on the oblex as it does appear we have taken enough precaution to keep it around. And the compass I need to make can wait as well, so for Res, the walking tower works for me, especially since it appears we are here.]
"Only question I have is how fast does it move and is there an entrance close to the ground or do we have to climb up one of the legs to get inside?" Resfaen questions.
(Core within the Bag of Colding extent Core's "freshness" to about 3 month. Trying to sell the core in Citadal is possible.I guess I assuming no backtrack for handing core over to gatherers)
"At the moment with this rain, it's movement has slowed down to a crawl with wet terrain which scares me a bit. it mean someone intelligent is controlling it or the tower itself takes into consideration such things," Onas explains, "It's movement otherwise is akin to a giant, slow to start but when it get moves, it's nearly unstoppable. If you can't see it, the tower is platform which the steel spider legs text from. We observe possible entrance at the base but I wonder, attempts to get ont has turned the tower into a buckling bull,"

"Seems our best option now is to simply find the thing and observe it for ourself." Robin comments with a frown. "I'd prefer to go a bit better prepared, but seems like there is not much knowledge to be gained on it from outside."
"I will send word for a guide to take you to the general shop. Of course, any gear is out of your pocket. Good luck and I wish for your swift return," Onas speaks with a bow. The party is guided back down through the tower and out the building where a halfling woman waits. Introduced herself as the guide, she departs and the party has to jog a bit to keep, she takes the party to the general store where any regular equipment cdan be picked up. Afterward. she takes through city towards the wall until coming upon a crushed section of wall, a few guards stand watching even these stormy rains.
"The tower came through here, it didn't even paused when coming though," she explainss before moving towards the moving tower. It takes about two hours and the party is soaked to the bone as they comes upon the slow tower, "Good day! Good bye! You know how to get back!" The halfling shouts as she turns and run back. The spider legs of the tower are massive and the tower is easily about 50ftin the air at it's lowest point as it climbs the hills. Rising upward to 100ft up as the legs move the tower in a very stop and go pace.

"I can get two of us up there." Robin says with a glance to the others. She would wait until a means of getting the others is figured out, then would cast dimension door and take whomever is left along with her.
Rogi says apologetically, "I'm not very good at climbing, so I hope one or the other way I could get magical help getting up there. I thought someone had a flight spell...?"
"Well if one of you can get me to the ledge, I can lower some rope down and then pull the rest of you up. I should be able to take two of you at once and then I can bring up the last of our party. Might be the best route to save as many of our spells as we can." Resfaen suggests. "And to make sure I don't get knocked over with the jerking of the walking, I can potentially tie myself off to something up there so I can't be dragged over the ledge."
[OOC: If I am reading my STR correctly I can lift 600 pounds. So just tie the rope around your waist and I can lift you up, which would hopefully negate the need for you to hold on.]
Salys nods to Robin, "Why don't you take Resfaen up with you? Then we can see if the rope works to get the rest of us up there, if not, I can get the rest up my way."

Maybe stop on the way to get some climbing gear? Just in case?

Spider Climb or Levitate
Adding minor noes, the legs extent from the platform with the tower, there's about 100ft in length and is on very crawling movement.
