At 1st level, you learn how to invest a spark of magic into mundane objects. To use this ability, you must have thieves’ tools or artisan’s tools in hand. You then touch a Tiny nonmagical object as an action and give it one of the following magical properties of your choice:
Whenever tapped by a creature, the object emits a recorded message that can be heard up to 10 feet away. You utter the message when you bestow this property on the object, and the recording can be no more than 6 seconds long
I was thinking about that one, but instead of tapping, opening.
Was looking for a simple shackle or carabiner but a research showed me they only got invented around 1900, so they are more modern then i expected.

One day for the shoping, and experimenting with spells and such things. The other 9 days to search for information on the captain and the undead army. (9+ 6 for investigation i think)
(The training is just for RP, i plan to multiclass into rouge at the next lvl up.)
Never had any response on what Robin has for funds for downtime activities. Unless I missed that, I would need that information prior to making any decisions there.
History since it's search into well history of a person. (+1 from Onyx and +9 from days)
As Onyx askes about Lanoth, he finds the Legion clerk at the hall gesturing him to follow, "Do follow, Do try not to create too much of a mess. Also we have a few clerks looking for what they can. The city's leader has given you and your comrades a certain ... level of access to Legion resources despite not being part of it.," Following the clerk deeper into the building before he opens a door to several other clerks sorting through paper, "They may be able to give you some information but I sad to say you'll be in for good amount of reading,"
After a few days, Onyx talks, goes through several quite old reports, many from before the Legion itself was formed. (An estimated 8-9 years)
Lanoth, the Skull Face, was a pirate from earlier days of the Valley. One of many many pirates that attempted to lay claim to the waters. He was among the more dangerous pirates known for striking at night, laying siege with cannons and men. Known as a giant goliath with a black and red skull painted onto his face, he would kill decks of enemies through feats of strength.
Lanoth's reign met it's greatest challenge when the arrival of the Broken Sisterhood and his first attack on the sea metal army, who crippled his fleet followed by conflict with Umberlee, which wiped out the remainder of his fleet as he refused to joined them Umberlee Armanda. It was believed he was killed in the conflict.
Additional information:
based on information, Lanoth became a serial killer wandering across the Valley with reports of comparable killing from Umberlee (the pirate fleet not goddess), Knights, Sisterhood's controlled lands as well as Legion's controlled lands. His M.O. varied but based on activity, he may have come in possession of the deity weapon shortly after his fall. Roughly 60-100 victims.
Note:
Lanoth was known for being able to lay siege with cannonballs without a ship within sight. Lanoth was known never to tire during battle, maintain same relativel amount of health admist battle, better to be regenrative ability.

"So..." Robin says looking around at the others. "Do we check the job boards, follow up on any leads with regard to the lanterner and its sister items, or do we do something else?" She shrugs. "Personally i suggest we check the job boards or look into what else you guys have been involved with up to this point, the lantern issue will likely come up again without us having to do much there."
Salys nods, "I think you're right about the artifacts, they'll come looking for us again eventually. But I do think we should keep an eye out in case we see something about it. Job boards are an option, but I think we might want to try and look into more about that necromancy cult."
Resfaen thinks for a moment about the options that lay in front of them. "We should probably visit the job board first to see what options are available to us. Depending on what jobs are being offered will determine our next steps. We need to deliver the Oblex Core soon as it is decaying and if they are to get any information out of it, they need to received the object sooner rather than later, I believe. Something else has arisen as well, when I visited the temple I was visited by some type of vision, I think, maybe...to be honest not really sure, however when I talked to the priests at the temple they were somewhat concerned and I might have the tools to make another compass which will lead us to answers or more than likely because of this cursed places, lead to more questions. However I do feel the need to look into it on behalf of the church. I agree with the lot of you about the artifacts, they will be seeking out eventually so we do not actively need to seek them out. Shall we make our way to the job board then?"
The Clerk at job board stumbles around for a bit as he gathers his notes, looks like the place was almost ransacked, "These are jobs I believe would require individuals of your skills level. It's a little low at the moment, many people were itching to work with gate opening," He points to the job board

"I agree, I like the last one, I have never seen a walking castle." Resfaen says. "What do we want to do about the other items on our check list of things to complete do we want to take care of?"
With some expressed interest the Clerks pulls out some papers, "The Walking Tower was seen in the area of Eanmoor City. It's a considerable distance away even on horseback but we can provide transportation there but it'll be one way depending on your wizard's ability. The Tower appears a few days ago and several have tried to in with low success. We dont know what's inside but it has stepped on a few cities leaving several building in ruin. "Presumably there's some mechanism or enchantment driving it so if we can get inside maybe we can figure out how to stop it."
"Walking Wizard Tower? Huh? come with me. We'll get you there," The clerk states as he closes the ledger after making a quick note in it. He pull out a cooper wire and speaks into it for a moment before gesturing to follow, taking them into a side corridor while explaining, "Within Eastcliffe, the higher brass speak highly of you and have permit access to certain facilities. You may find the other Legion settlements more willing to extent the same access to their city resources with a bit of work showing why the higher ups of Eastcliffe gave you the access,"
(Legion as a whole likes the party. Individual city would require some work for individuals to access their resources. Party is at renown 2 in Eastcliffe and most legion cities renown 1.75 for party.)

He sketches some thing before handing it over, "This....will burn up ...*yawn* in an hour. Memorize but do not share," He shuffle through a few scrolls, look over the party again before settling on Robin or rather her spellbook before basically shoving the scroll into Robin, "This is one time deal.....*yawn* Legion paying for this for you. .. .
