"I've never actually seen a magic sword up close like this. Sorta'... flimsy though. Garick has one kinda' like this, right? You want to give it a couple swishy-swoops?" Harbek says giving a few overdramatic dueling poses and swings.
You divvy the spoils amongst yourselves and continue poking around the cave. It ends in the antechamber that seems to have served as sleeping quarters for the spiders and the ettercap. You make your way out of the cave, Garick and Harbek slashing and burning webbing as you go, and find yourself once again in the dense, hot jungles of Chult. It has started raining in the time you were in the cave, but the heat has not let up at all and the day is still relatively bright.
As you approach the small clearing at the foot of the hill the dryad seems to melt out of the tree at it's center. "Estival tells me of your heroics," her voice crackles, like an autumn wind through dry leaves, "It seems I judged your character well. I have a request for you, another favor, though this one is also to your benefit."
She sits in the grass beneath the tree, rain falling around her. "There was once a great and evil necromancer who roamed this land. He believed he was protecting it's people, but did many terrible things. Far, far to the east he clear-cut great swaths of jungle, destroying the land and tainting it for all time. One of his agents in this destruction was an elemental spirit who bore a long-axe enchanted to cut through wood with ease." The dryad stops, a pained look on her face. "The necromancer eventually disappeared, though none that I have spoken to know what has happened to him. When he left, his agents wandered the jungles freely. Eventually the jungles turned on the elemental forester, who was not strong enough to stand against our combined might without the aid of the necromancer." The dryad stands, placing a hand on her tree and is suddenly gone, now standing next to a dead and rotting tree at the edge of the clearing.
"The spirit was banished back to the plane of elemental earth, but his axe remains." She reaches a hand into the dead tree as if it were an illusion and when she pulls it out she is holding a halberd, long and wicked and sharp. "I have guarded this for many years, but wish it gone from my lands. You may have it and put it to good use, so long as you promise not to fell any living tree with it's blade, unless that tree is corrupted or has turned to evil."
She hold's the forester's axe out in front of her, a pleading look in her deep green eyes.
Sparks judges the time of day and then indicates for them to either move on or set up camp. either way he will scout the area ahead of them as they either move on towards their destination or towards a camp site.
The forest floor is dark, clouds, canopy, and webbing blocking most light, but here in the clearing you can see a brighter patch in the clouds that must be the sun. Based on how long you'd been traveling and how long you spent in the cave, it is about mid-day.
If you are traveling on, everyone make appropriate rolls for what you'll be doing as you journey.
((Garick could use the rapier if no one has objections since he uses one))
Harbek picks up the rapier and looks at it.

((Sparks could also use the rapier, so we may have to roll for it...))
Thorin will also defer on the magic items.

Thorin, the note is written in Infernal.
Garick, I have equipped the rapier on your sheet.
Who's taking the bag of bead of force?

Harbek runs a hand through his hair and asks “are there many evil trees in this place? It’s hard to imagine with such a vigilant watcher as you.”
Then he straps his pike across his pack - making it awkward to walk- and reaches out for the halberd. “Unless anyone objects?

Aerin gives a nod of approval, smiling slightly at Harbek as he takes up the Halberd.
"Seems like a good fit for you."
De’ran makes no objections

"Ive heard it both ways."
Sparks can take the bag of beads of force, though not sure he is the best option.
He watches the interaction with interest, but doesn't speak.
Garick slaps Harbek on the back, That weapon may not have a great past, but its future will be much better in your hands.
((So that's 42 GP for 4 and 41 GP for 2. Sparks will take 41, the rest of you can decide who else does so.))
(( De’ran is fine with 41 gp ))
