This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Goblins are tricky, better be careful with that door!" Baxthon cast guidance (Add 1d4 to the check) (As im already concentrating on Shield of faith i cant cast Guidance - Shield of faith last 10 minutes)
Baxthon spends his action to investigate the door. 19
It is not trapped, or locked. Simple wooden door, though very sturdy. Bolstered by the flat bars of iron that stretch from one side of the door to the other helping hold it together. Nothing special. But being that close to the doors you also hear the two voices, do you speak goblin by chance? If not then all you hear is grumbles.
Ok so as you open the door, you see a room that looks like a 5 foot wide hallway, but there a large opening on the right. You cant see much IN the room immediately, just because the large opening is about 10 feet ahead. You can see however that there is some sort of fire light in this room. The air is heavy with the scent of soot, like years of healthy use of the fire pit.
Also the voices stop, and you hear the sound of maybe a chair, or some other woody object scrape against stone. Marius, ypu hear the phrase, "eh? Whos there?"
In common, Marius responds with a grin, "We are!", and marches far enough to look into the room, holding his staff at the ready.
Moving ahead 20 feet to be able to see what's what, but readying an action: Attack any creature which appears to want to harm any party member that gets within melee range.
If it has been a minute (or close to it) since I last cast shillelagh on my staff, I do that as my bonus action.
Attack with quarterstaff: 13, damage: 10 magical bludgeoning damage
Seeing his companions brandish weapons and stride down the newly exposed hallway, Vazak hefts his massive sword and follows, doing his best to keep them shielded from any potential danger with his massive body.
Well you can keep the rolls and we can work it in on your turn or if youd like to roll agian when the time comes, just because there was no suprise round this time only because there was no stealth-ing, and currently you would be 3rd in order.
Sorry, wanted to put my action in, so you did not have to wait for me later. Sorry if that was not ok. You can go ahead and use those rolls when my action comes around, unless you wish me to reroll instead.
Its totally fine. I was asking you if you like to keep those rolls or roll again. I have no problem putting it in order sometimes. So its up to you if you want them. Lol just giving the option to change what it is youre doing on your turn depending on who does what before then.
The human looks away from the door and whispers, "Two speaking Goblin," as he points toward the door.
Is the door locked?
Hm, well, id say since youve become acquainted with the door already, please give me an investigation check.

Do what you feel is necessary. I wont discourage anyones playing.
Good point. But it would just drop, if you wanted to. Honestly though, if it were me id keep the shield of faith as well.
Hope im doing well to respond asap.

Baxthon doesnt speak goblin
He will turn to the rest of the group, and say in a low voice: "The door doesnt seem to be trapped, should we proceed?"
If there is no other doors, or other passages, then Leon agrees. "Let's see what is on the other side..." He says in his calm and confident voice.
Vazak levels his massive electrically coated greatsword at the door. "Onward, friends!" He bellows.

You other guys hear,
"Rah, ak a thay."
"Neighbors... Can we borrow some sugar?" Leon speaks up, ready with his long sword as he steps through the open door.

As Marius speaks, two goblins turn the corner, one with a bad leg, the other with an eye patch.
(Also that hit did miss.)
Please roll initiative.
Leg: 6
Eye: 12
Vazak Initiative: 9
Leon initiative: 20
Leon attacks which ever of the two is closest...
Attack: 10 Damage: 6
