Stacey would see the explosion erupt behind Belial. "Nope... Nope... I sit down." and she'd lower herself back down to the ground and crab scramble her way backwards a bit.
Backlit by the conflagration, Albert steps out of the rubble of the inn, hands on his hips, standing there in his tighty whiteys, striking the hero pose. Traa-laa-laa!
"No worries, gang, I gave the dog a scooby snack and he's all chill now! Kinda cute, actually."
Yawing and stretching, he reveals a little too much body flab and hair, but not giving a care in the world.
Casually walking up to his quivering and shocked friends, he stands there and announces "Allrightallrightallright! Who's up for some tacos?!"
Blade walks down the stairs, and looks out at the carnage that is Fistborkus. Taking a moment to process all of this, he looks over to the party and asks, ".....So are we doing something about this?" He stands ready to defend himself or others, with one hands on his hilt and his eyes narrowed through his helmet to lock on the monster.
Still seated next to Stacey, Belial looks at Alfred in disbelief I think that he's had too much. It's like he just experienced something completely different than the rest of us. When Blade walks out, she merely shakes her head no.

"No worries, gang, I gave the dog a scooby snack and he's all chill now! Kinda cute, actually."
No, *****!
Among the dead bodies and ruins of the Inn, a good quarter of the town is ablaze. Most of you stare in shock and concern as you stand helpless. The town is in a high state of panic, as if the Gods has cursed this little haven. As you watch, thankfully, Fistborkus us nowhere to be seen now, it's motives and destination unknown.
You have the urge to flee, since Winterhaven will be completely engulfed in flames in a short while.
Noticing the flames, Blade rushes around the buildings and calls out in search of survivors. Using his greatsword to open doors and look inside for people to save, he desperately throws himself from building to building, no matter how dangerous it may seem. If he finds anyone, he carefully drags them out and calls for help for them, before rushing back in.
“I’m no hero...” Stacey would mutter as she stares out into the flames, feeling her fragile mental state teeter on the edge of madness. I was a criminal...She’d just swallow, staring off into the distance at the burning village, watching the flames engulf the buildings their Paladin was trying so desperately to evacuate. I was a coward then too. Her eyes would dart and fade in and out of focus when left in silence, as if she was sifting through a mash reality and flashbacks. Memories... The rogue would blink, shedding a single tear before brushing it away.
Alia drags Blade out of his staring contest with Fistborkus if necessary before the tavern explodes.
She then joins him in evacuating people, in between the occasional chide. "Don't be an idiot next time! Evacuation is good, fighting the mythical legend of Avernians nightmares is bad, you doofus! You're not allowed to get yourself killed doing inane things!" Her eyes crackle with electricity as she uses gust to push back beams or redirect flames away from unburnt structures, and shape water to extinguish immediate flames.
Alfred: "Just chillax everyone! I got this under control. Everything's gonna be a-okayyyyyyyyyy."
With the confidence of a confused dope, Alfred searches through the rubble that was once the inn, and finds the chest which contains his armor and weapons. Clasping the suit back on, he raises his axe from the pile and calls out "See! Got my stuff ready ... Good to go!"
As he stumbles out of the rubble, he looks back over his shoulder and sheepishly admits "Daaaaaaaang. That ain't gonna buff out, I think. Let's get outta here before anyone notices."
Caim moves to find Alia, making sure she is uninjured. Looking about nervously, he says, "I think it best we leave. I'm not sure we can help and, most likely, we'll get blamed for this," adding a knowing look her way, "You know we always get blamed for this kind of stuff." He grabs her hand and begins leading her toward the others. "Let's go."
As the town begins slowly turn to ash, the commoners weep and wail at the destruction with nowhere left to go. Valthrun, and Lord Badraig do their best to maintain order, and you all slip away easily in the chaos. Why or how such a small dog could cause so much destruction is beyond you, but the whims are the Gods are beyond mortal understanding.
At this point, you can investigate the keep, or head to the dragon burial site to see if Douven is there.
Blade looks out over the crowd, moving through them and using the last of his powers to heal the most badly wounded (5 points of lay on hands XD). He then steps away from the people and falls against a tree, tired. Having had no rest in 24 hours, fought 3 battles and forced out every ounce of power he had in healing others, not to mention charging through fire and smoke to save anyone he could....yah, the ground felt nice.
The armored man smelling of fire and smoke simply collapsed against the tree, fully equipped with a small echoed breathing coming from behind his helmet.
Alia sighs as Blade collapses, then makes sure to drag him far away from the fires before looking at the others, panting hard. "We need to rest if we're going to be up for either a massive cult or a dragon burial. I suggest we camp out in the woods." Her eyes still crackle with electricity, although it's a bit muted from her exhaustion.
Caim paces about a bit, using the edge of his cloak to wipe the ash and dust from his shield. Noting that it gives somewhat a good reflection, he smiles and begins admiring the beads, feathers and other bits and pieces in his hair. Fluffing his unruly mop a bit, he adjusts his headband, while muttering to Alia. "By the gods, adventuring suits me. I mean, just look at me. I'm a sight to see!" He offers his sister a toothy grin as he wipes some ash from her face. "A brief rest, yes, but then back to our task. Ok?"
Alia gives her brother a smile as he helps her clean up. "Absolutely. I'm just no good like this, and neither is a fair number of our party." She raises an eyebrow in the direction of the snoring Blade. "Should we wake him up before moving camp, or just pull him along?"
Caim chuckles at the suggestion, before shaking his head. "Let him rest a minute. He's too heavy to drag and likely too valuable in a battle to leave behind. You know what Dad would say," he says, switching his voice to mimic the deadpan Chandor Daltos. "In a fair fight, use every weapon available...but, by the gods dumbass, never fight fair unless you plan to lose! Fight to win....let the paladins worry about the ethics later!" He laughs as he finishes and then pauses to let out a sad sigh. "They're ok, right? I mean....they're probably just off partying it up and forgot to tell us...."

"Someone should put a leash on that dog.."Camilla grumbled, thinking about Fistborkus and the destruction he caused. She felt a little bit guilty. Was it looking for me? And if so, why? That was an Acheronian dog. They're at war with my people sure, but..why waste time to send it here? She couldn't help think there might be a coincidence.

"That's fine, no one's expecting you to be the hero. Just stay safe and try to be calm. I'm here if you need me."
