"Well Gondolo, what makes you the guide we should choose?" Leann asks with a nod to him. "My companions and I are in search of someone who knows how to find the source of the dark curse that infests the lands, a device called the soulmonger. If we cannot find that device, then finding someone who can help us do so would be our next best option. Can you help us with either of these?" She gives him a direct gaze. "If neither of these, then a guide as we try to find them on our own is also helpful, so what makes you the best guide for doing so?"
"Hello friend, have you seen a soul-monger? Dorno has to go hiding and seeking in the jun-gle. He think he need more rope. Dorno has seen the funny trees here and does not know if they give the same food, too. Does jun-gle have good foods, or what should Dorno bring for seeking?"
"Haha, yeah, they probably know more about all the magicky stuff with this whole death curse business. All I know, we're looking for something called a Soulmonger! Think those red-robe guys you saw have it? Alright, hmm.... yeah, the meetup should be just up ahead!" Ivas says, drawing close to the meeting point. Although he's not quite there yet, he doesn't really see anyone he recognizes, either. Maybe he's the first one back? That makes him a bit nervous, he really has no idea how to keep this helpful woman entertained by himself. Perhaps she'd know somewhere nearby that they could go and browse potions or something else adventurer-y like that.....
plaugg turns to leave and heads toward the thundering lizard but making sure he isn’t followed. Once there he disguises himself in the bathroom as Wondolo the traveling drummer then seeks out the owner to try to barter a nightly performance for a room
"Ah! Well, you see we know the locations of all kinds of ancient ruins and such, even got a map to a completely undiscovered part of Chult. Say a dragon used to call her lair, I'm sure if you don't find the 'sol-munger' on the way, you'll find some kind of ancient prophecy are wise sage or something that'll point you straight to it!"
Dorno
The man seems a little overwhelmed by the firbolg before him. "I-I'm sorry I can only offer you insect repellent maybe a scented oil. I don't know what this 'soul-monger' is, but if you adventuring supplies you'll have better luck in the Grand Souk." (Area 6) "Otherwise, can I offer you a vial insect repellent? Those things are carriers for disease you know, 1 gold!"
Ivas
The woman quietly listens to Ivas' ramblings as they walk, and when they arrive at the meeting point she notices something on face, "Your companions have not arrived, have they?" She has a little concern in her voice, perhaps the man with her was crazy, "Maybe while we wait, we could head to my temple, and see if we can scry any deeper into some of our issues."
Plaugg
The man thanks you and heads off the other direction, presumably to catch up with his companion. You finally make it to the Thundering Lizard and head inside. Inside, you spot Aedan already in conversation with the barkeep of the tavern.
Aedan
"You are wrong there sir, undead have laid claim to large regions of jungle for years. What I meant was that I have heard people have seen newtypes of undead among the zombies."
"I'll keep you in mind then and tell the others about you." Leann nods with a shrug. "How can I get into contact with you if we decide to hire you as a guide?" Once that is done she will continue back towards the meeting place, figuring it has probably been close to 3 hours by now.
Plaugg (dressed as Wondolo) walks up to Aedan and the barkeep.
“So sorry to intrude on your conversation, but I was wondering if you have need of a musician to perform for your lovely bar patrons. I’m a traveling drummer. Wondolo by name, I’m sure you’ve heard of me.”

Dorno scratches his head at the thought of insect repellant, something he normally doesn't need in the forest. After pondering it for a moment just long enough to be awkward he says "disease is bad, Dorno will trade one gold." "Dorno is smart and learned how to trade the silver and gold coins." He smiles and places one gold in the man's hand.
"Well, we'll be at the dinosaur races tomorrow, maybe try the Thundering Lizard? Otherwise head to Jobal, he'll be able to send someone for us." He thanks you and heads off into the crowds of people. You head back to the meeting point and spot Ivas already there, speaking with a Chultan woman.
Plaugg
You walk up to the bar and address the barkeep, interrupting the current conversation. The barkeep turns to you, "I dunno who you are, but if you're a musician I'll gladly trade a room for some performance." You can feel the man next to inspecting you. If you wish to keep who you are a secret, roll deception
Aedan
A calling himself Wondolo suddenly interrupts the conversation you were having to ask to trade music for a room. Turning to him, you feel like he's familiar... To identify his real identity roll perception or insight.
Dorno
The man stands there awkwardly for a few moments before you speak. "ah-ha ha... Thank, thank you sir for you service.." He takes the coin and gives you a small vial of insect repellent.
Nahuatl
You inspect the man and closely consider his words, the man appears to be telling the truth about his desire and intention to give you a boat. However, you can't sure who his clients are or what they may want.
Everyone around the city begins feel something, after a moment you come to the conclusion that the 3 hours are nearing their end.
"Yes, of course, the temple!" Ivas says, internally slapping himself that he didn't think of this already. As soon as Inete makes the suggestion, he notices another saving grace, one of his companions drawing near to the meeting point. Thank goodness!
"Ah, here we are!" Ivas says, motioning towards Leann. "The first of my returning companions, the brave adventurer Leann! Leann, this is Inete. She claims to have seen the object of our quest through the visions of her god, deep in the jungle! Tell her, Inete!" Ivas says, sounding a little eager on the last statement.
Dorno thanks the man and leaves with his insect repellant. He decided to stop by the fresh fruit and produce vendor again until he has two large furbolg armloads of fruits and any vegetables that don't necessarily require cooking. He dumps one large armload in his woven basket-like backpack and carries the rest in one arm, slowly eating the pile with the other.

Despite the impressive costume Plaugg created. After a few moments of inspecting the man, Aedan sees Plaugg's familiar features underneath the change of cloths, makeup and fake hair.
The barkeep looks to Wondolo, "So, I guess we'll see you this evening then?"
Leann and Ivas
The woman begins to squrme in her robes. "Oh, I'm sorry did I say our problems are related? I can't promise that. It is possible that they are, but for now I don't know. If you would accompany me to see Grandfather Zitembe, the head of the temple, he could hopefully shed some more light on it all."
Dorno
The extra fruits costs another 6 silver.
As you head back to the meeting point Dorno finds himself along the docks, where he spots Nahuatl conversing with a tall man, with long red hair.
"We are meeting some of our companions here..." Leann says with a frown. "Can we wait for them to return, or should I go with you now and meet the rest of my group after speaking to your grandfather?"
Leann...
