As Chrys lays her hands upon Krackle and prays to her deity for divine healing, the little kobold feels a surge of warmth rushing through his body. A few moments pass before he is able to move again, and once the spider poison is magically flushed from his system, Krackle finds himself back on his feet, with greatly restored energy, and he is no longer paralyzed.
As Lumen's eyes scan the forest in the immediate vicinity, he sees no more spiders, nor does he spot any other creatures from his vantage point. You can all see the tangle of webs that lie about thirty feet behind your position.
"Did... did we win? did I help?" Krackle asks as he opens his eyes. The fragile kobold would look around before struggling to his feet. "Thanks Chrys... I don't think I like spiders very much anymore.." Krackle would then give a nearby spider corpse a small kick.
"You helped, I didn't," Lumen says, looking back into the forest. "Need to be more on our guard. Vesper, do you want to start igniting some webs from a distance and we can proceed, eyes open, and be prepared for anything coming out of there?"
"Y'all helped. 'Cause the Pie Pals are a group effort. Any one o' us tryin' to do this alone woulda been overrun in no time,"she declares. Standing up, she grips her hammer and looks around the group. "Let's be careful goin' forward, though... seems like there's no end to these poisonous bastards." She scowls and inspects the forest surroundings for danger, taking a protective stance.

Kess Perception: 22
As Krackle stands up and kicks the destroyed corpse of the spider that nearly sent him to his doom, you all proceed slowly through the gloomy and eerily silent air towards the tangle of webs that stretch from tree to tree in front of you. You make it a few feet before the Chrys spots movement once again. Slinking in the shadows about twenty feet away and just off to the left, she sees a dark shape hiding in the brush amidst the stray strands of web. The oddly, bulbuous, yet muscular humanoid shape and clawed face give it away. It's another ettercap, clearly lying in wait. However, this one is bigger than the others that you encountered yesterday... quite a bit bigger in fact.
Her dwarven eyes also spots movement on the ground, as well. A quick examination revels yet another swarm of spiders that are scurrying towards you along the thick foliage of the forest floor.
Chrys says a quick prayer to the Duin: “Give us the strength ta be your justice,“ she asks, casting bless on herself, Kess, and Krackle. She then moves to engage the huge ettercap.
Lumen inspires Krackle with a hearty pat on the shoulder. "You'll get them this time,"he says. (d6 on any attack roll, saving throw, ability check in the next ten mins)
He then whirls toward the ettercap, belting out with his lute, a bit of a dark limerick:
There once was an ugly old spider Considered a bit of a fighter But he hid in some cover And his story is over... He's now dead cause we ran him... over.
He casts dissonant whispers for 5 psychic damage on a failed save, and using its reaction to run away a full move (WIS 14)
As Chrys bestows the blessings on herself and her two companions, Lumen sings his brief limerick and casts his spell at the ettercap. (WIS Save: 2)
Despite his less than stellar arcane delivery, the ettercap is definitely affected by the enchantment. Perhaps it's simply because even an ettercap understands that a true limerick has the last line rhyming with the first two lines, or else it's just that Lumen's bardic ability still has some power, even when he's clearly not at his best game.
Opting for a cantrip instead of her bow, Kess steps forward and releases an arcane fire bolt from her fingertip at the approaching spider swarm. The bolt slams right into the small horde, burning and frying a decent number of the tiny creatures. When the brief puff of smoke clears, you can see that about about a third of them have been decimated. The rest keep crawling towards you over the undulating and leafy forest floor.
If the ettercap could actually understand common, and if the original delivery had not caused him a small degree of pain and mental anguish, he would no doubt cry out in relief that the punch line of Lumen limerick was now properly resolved.

(OOC: Sorry for lack of posting, real life is being crazy)
Krackle would smile at Lumen before racing towards the Spider creature. As moves towards the spider-like creature, He would rapidly transform into a brown bear before lashing out at the creature.
bite Attack: 18 Damage: 12 Claws Attack: 24 Damage: 13 (Bardic inspiration if that doesn't hit 6)

Ok, everyone can take their actions, and someone can roll for Kess.

Kess will firebolt the spider swarm:
16 + 3. for 9 fire damage if it hits

"He's dead cause we brought an igniter!" Lumen cries out, doing that thing where you remember a good line after the point where it would be useful.
If the ettercap could actually understand common, and if the original delivery had not caused him a small degree of pain and mental anguish, he would no doubt cry out in relief that the punch line of Lumen limerick was now properly resolved.
Krackle and Vesper are both up.
