As the next morning comes, the party smells the freshly baked bread as Vono enters the room with a few loaves.
"Good morning all. I hope you all had a pleasant rest. After your meal and after giving the lizardfolk their share, I am willing to have our match. And if I am not mistaken, I am to have the match with the warrior from Darguun, yes?"
Hari smiles faintly at the confirmation that Nasaar is indeed from Darguun, and prepares to observe the latest battle with her usual attention to detail for a dirge.
Sylvester is seen awake and in the same spot as he was before everyone went to sleep. He politely refuses the bread, and waits for the matches to begin.
I do have a question though. The first strike only hit his arcane ward and nothing else. The monk takes damage from the armor of agathy by doing so, so I assume stunning fist applies as well, even though Nasaar took no actual damage from the strike. Reading Stunning Fist it says the melee attack only needs to hit, not that it needs to do damage, what is your ruling on this? I assume it still affects Nasaar, and he would not be able to cast shield for the second strike then. If so, then he now is no longer with ward or armor of agathy and has taken 1 point of actual damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(It is an interesting take, but yes. The ruling on it being it just needs to hit to stun them. It doesn't matter to how much damage it causes but more to effect the person. Essentially like a tripping an enemy, while it doesn't do much damage it gives you advantage over them. So while Nasaar took no damage from the first strike, the blow jarred his senses.)
Nasaar gets up to his feet and sets himself to face the monk again. He gives him a nod of respect for the attack, then casts armor of agathys on himself again.
"He got lucky, that's all." Kastor mutters grumpily, before taking a blanket and curling up to sleep.

Vono asks.
"Yes." Nasaar confirms. "May I prepare a bit prior to the bout?" He asks. (Can he cast armor of agathys prior to combat?)

"Of course, preparation is a necessity. I will meet you at the sparring grounds when you are ready." He heads towards the back of the temple.
(He will still offer the first turn to you.)
With frost rimming his body, Nasaar moves to meet the monk.
He uses his Hexblade's Curse on the monk, then moves in to attack...
Warhammer Attack: 13 Damage: 13
Vono moves aside, the warhammer almost nearing him. He thrusts with his spear and follows it with a swing of his arm.
Monk attack -
(Last post glitched out so this one has the attack rolls.)
Nasaar deflects both strikes with the shield in his hand, then slams back with his warhammer...
Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Vono brings up his spear, blocking the warhammer.
Monk attacks -
Nasaar make a Con Save, DC 14. On fail, you are stunned
Nasaar con save: 8
Both strikes hit and he is stunned. The monk takes ten cold damage for both strikes hitting Nasaar.

The monk readies a barrage
Monk attacks -
Nasaar gets up to his feet and sets himself to face the monk again. He gives him a nod of respect for the attack, then casts armor of agathys on himself again.
That ends his action for the round.
(Post didn't go through, can't tell what spell Nasaar used.)
