Hari regards the lizardfolk with curiosity and minimal judgement in her eyes. She might not agree with such practices, but she's also seen much stranger ones.
Sylvester fascinated by the way the lizardfolk emerged from his hiding comments “Nice job with the moss, you have to teach me the trick to blending in around here if you don’t mind me asking.”
The lizardfolk just says, "No." to Sylvester's request, not even giving a glance to him.
The lizardfolk leads you to a thicker part of the jungle until it gives way to a small clearing. With a few huts and a few other Scales roaming about, the other lizardfolk stare at you all. A bit unnerving, as if they're judging a meal before them. Your guide leads you to a hut and pushes aside the leaf-made curtain, peering inside. He then looks to Kierran and motions for him to enter. Kierran nods and takes his backpack off, holding it in his hands instead.
"Can they come too?" Kierran asks.
"No."The guide says curtly.
With a shrug, he enters. The guide stands before the curtain, guarding it, it seems. And in that moment, its a bit strange. As with the metropolis Sharn and small settlements, there is talking, laughing, or even shouting. Whether it be for joy or sadness, this place is quiet. The few interactions they have with each other is mostly nods and shakes of the head with the rare point at something. Each of them were dressed in some kind of furs or leathers along with an ivory weapon. After a while, Kierran comes back out, without the backpack but a sack instead.
"Alright, all settled."
The guide nods, "Then as the chief commanded, do you need any supplies?" Kierran looks over to you all, "If you need a tent or a bedroll, now's the time to say it."
The lizardfolk says, "No, we do not. I will be back with your requests." He heads into another hut and comes back out with a few bundles. He hands the bundles over to Nasaar and Rusty. The tents are made of leather while the bedroll are made of furs.
"Do you remember the way to the stone tree?" The lizardfolk asks Kierran.
"Still do, was just here a two weeks ago."
"Then I shall take my leave."
Kierran waves bye to the lizardfolk as he walks away. Kierran attaches the sack to his belt and looks to the party. "Alright, time to find that treasure. First stop is the stone tree."
Rusty gets the tent set in his backpack and is ready to proceed. Rusty will make his way opposite of Sylvester so the Rogue pair can better cover the group. Rusty readies his hand bow in his main hand, dagger at the ready for his off hand. He will try to familiarize himself with the jungle and it's signals - visual, auditory and smell.
(OOC: Apologies for my absence, work has been taking up a lot of my attention recently. I should be able to keep on top of things moving forward, but feel free to autopilot Kastor if we're in combat and I'm holding everyone up).
Trusting to the rogues to keep watch for signs of anything currently nearby, Kastor focuses more on anything that has been nearby recently - looking for tracks of any creatures or animals to try and get a sense of what kind of creatures might be out in the jungle waiting to ambush them, or possibly food sources. He'll also keep an eye out for any rarer plants that might add either some flavour or any medicinal benefits to any of his brews.
It's hard to determine what kind of creatures live out here. As a motley of tracks and droppings reveal small and big creatures, some with claws or with opposable thumbs. While the plants are more varied, you can easily recognize them as common. Perhaps deeper into the jungle will reveal more exotic samples for Kastor.
As the party progresses through, with the rogues keeping an eye out, there's a crack that fills the air which is followed by a loud thud. While it is ahead of the party, it seems to be off to the side. But as the party keeps going, the noises don't stop as it becomes clear that's its trees being broken and knocked down. As Kierran stops in his tracks, looking to the origin of the conflict., he readies his sabers.
"Wonder what it is this time..."
A few minutes pass and nothing seems to happens. The fight is still ongoing but doesn't seem to come closer to you all.
Nasaar closes his eyes for a moment, then shrugs. "Seems to be a very big badger fighting a very big snake." He tells the others. "Probably no business of ours, shall we continue?"
Rusty stops and makes a muted clap of his finger to his palm and holds a fist up to attempt to get the party to halt. He exchanges his handbow for his Short sword and lowers his fist to retrieve his dagger. He motions towards the moving grass and takes a stance ready to react.
Axon immediately recognizes Rusty's hand symbol and halts himself and Shepherd. As the rear guard he turns his body so that he can quickly see both ahead and behind with a quick swivel of his head and draws his sword and readies his shield. Shepherd emits a low sound like a growl as it readies for combat.

(OOC: Does it look like Sylvester could try to find a way to listen to the conversation going on in the hut or is he likely to get caught?)
If he can’t listen in, he will state that he is ready to go.

Rusty determines shelter might be prudent with the amount of moisture required for a jungle to thrive.
I will take a tent as a precaution. Do you have a substance that will aid our metal in the resistance of oxidation in this subtropic environment?

@Nasaar
Your owl can see what is fighting. It is a Giant Badger fighting a Giant poisonous Snake.
@Rusty
While it seems calm, you notice that the grass is constantly shifting. No, not quite, it's actually moving...towards the party?
Nasaar closes his eyes for a moment, then shrugs. "Seems to be a very big badger fighting a very big snake." He tells the others. "Probably no business of ours, shall we continue?"
[occ] Can I get an estimate of our placement as a group?

And Rusty are you readying a dodge or attack?)
