Kastor will call out, "Run!" and will rush forward until he's almost underneath the first orbs, at which point he'll cast Thunderwave at first level, aiming upwards towards them. Each orb within a 15ft cube from Kastor must make a DC14 CON save or suffer 11 Thunder Damage and be pushed 10ft away (and higher). In addition, Kastor is hoping that any pollen would count as "unsecured objects within the area of the spell's effect" and would also be pushed 10ft away, falling harmlessly away from the group.
(They never got low enough to attack with your sword.)

(The spell would work at pushing the current pollen away, but you'd create more pollen when those hit by the spell die. The burst is more of an after effect and Thunderwave is not a continuous wave but rather instantaneous burst. So the spell will push the other pollen away but you'd cause more bursts. And by with how many, that'd be 15d6 damage to the whole party. And I'd up the DC considering you all would be covered in spores. So I advise something else than that.)
