Both strikes connect as you smack him with the braodside of your swords. Your first hit forces him to spin 90 degrees, then your second strike clocks him in the chest forcing him to fall straight on his back, unconscious.
Silence falls within the hall as you prepare yourself for a spell to come flying from any direction... but nothing happens.
Cambat is finished.
Four dead guards lay scattered around, bleeding a darker than normal blood for humans. The unconscious archer is taking breaths, but it's at a rate of probably 5 times per minute (Normal is around 25 to 30 after a raised heart rate, which is were you all would be at). Lord Errostra Orbid is currently not present.
Edit: And a section of the wall on the first floor is currently on fire. It's not burning like its soaked in fuel, but it is spreading like old wood is wont to do.
Other than the gentle crackle of fire from the burning painting, caused by Happy's Burning Hands spell, silence permeates the manor as you receive no response.
Arlo waves a hand through the nearby door. “Through the door. I don’t know what else to do for Catherine, but she’s going to bleed out if we do nothing.”
With the extra set of hands you are able to carefully remove the arrow, shove a wad of clean ripped cloth into the wound, and stopped the bleeding. She is stable but still unconcious.
(I took a look all the way back to when you all were at the fort, and those with healing potion are Arlo, Catherine, and Happy. We can retcon the medicine checks, or at least the last one, and someone can administer a healing potion, popping Catherine right back up. Either way Catherine has been saved.)
You uncork the bottle and begin pouring it into Catherine's mouth. As the last drop is taken, Catherine's eyes burst open and her body becomes tense as she instictively returns to her last thought of cutting down Orbid.
Catherine roll 2d4+2 of healing.

Sieghart gets up and puts his swords away. He takes his bow and nocks an arrow before before going over to the room Orbid ran into. He stand on the left side of the doorframe.
"Surrender Orbid! You are cornered and alone. There is no escape."
Catherine snarls and slams the ground in anger at her foe's escape, following Arlo's suggestion without question. She retrieves one of the fallen ranger's bows and nocks an arrow, taking a position opposite Sieghart. The weapon trembles in her arms, ready to be discarded once more as soon as its shot is loosed...
Lucas will move behind everyone preparing to rush in or heal.
Readying yourselves to swarm in, you pause for Arlo's count. One... Two... Everyone's muscles tense and the rush of adrenaline intensifies... Three!
You all burst through the door with a battle cry and fan out looking for a shot, but no one is present. Not Orbid, not another guard, no one. Quickly scanning the room from where you are, you realize this must be his bedroom. It is a large room, about 30' x 30', with much the same decor as the hall. Fanciful paintings of different scenery and gilded framing line the walls, two tall wardrobes are set angled in at either corner along the wall you entered through, two long dressers on either side of the room at about the mid point, a chest with a hefty looking lock sits in front of a neatly made bed on the opposite side, a large desk with scattered papers and ajar drawers sits against the right wall close to the other end, and a bookshelf filled with books except for two spots sits on the opposite wall close to the desk. The eastern wall (left of entrance) has two double sets of closed windows that look outside to the grounds behind the mansion.
Go ahead and make perception checks for those who want to get a closer look throughout the room.

Sieghart runs over to meet with the rest of the party, leaving the unconscious guard. He crouches next to Arlo and the wounded Catherine.
"Is she alright?" He asked Arlo.
He then looked around for any sign of Lord Orbid. In the confusion of battle, he had lost sight of him.
"Where did that bastard go?"
Arlo waves a hand through the nearby door. “Through the door. I don’t know what else to do for Catherine, but she’s going to bleed out if we do nothing.”

Catherine gasps and sits up straight as life returns to her limbs, looking around wildly to find her foe.
"Orbid? Where is the fiend?!" she demands, hurriedly retrieving her axe from where it fell.
"He left through the door over there." Happy points in the direction where Orbid left the room.
"Quick we have to follow him!"
Sieghart gets up and puts his swords away. He takes his bow and nocks an arrow before before going over to the room Orbid ran into. He stand on the left side of the doorframe.

Arlo gets his axes. “Get one of those bows, Catherine.”
He then moves up to the door’s edge. “On three, Sieg...”
