(Sieghart, you're approaching the tail end of you detect magic spell. Nothing has pinged for you.)
Lucas:
As you open your eyes after casting your spell, you expect some sort of malevolent aura to come from withing the building. Instead you get a tug of energy coming from Happy at about the same place where he stowed the dagger. Shift your concentration, what you initially guess as a desecrated item, you rather find it as being consecrated.
With his heightened senses, Lucas scans his surroundings. He pauses when his eyes glance across Happy. There's a white glow emanating from his satchel.
"Hey Happy, that dagger in you bag is glowing...but it doesn't have a black aura, it is more of a bright white glow. I get a sense that it is sacred. I'm not expert about these lands, but perhaps we should take a closer look at the item before we all barge in?".
(I'm about to break something. My notification settings keep reverting back to recieve nothing. I'm really sorry for the delay. The weekend kept me busy enough to not think about checking unless I get the email to remind me.)
Happy, you unfurl the wrap and take a second look at the dagger for any indication of a special purpose or alignment with a deity. Nothing really stands out as obvious, but you do notice a grayish glow speck centered within the onyx itself. By bringing the knife closer you can discern it is a jumble of lines. You're sure it's a symbol of some sort, but a magnifying glass will definitely be needed to examine the details. You tuck it away for later.
Who'll be the first through the door? It's partially ajar (opening out), so kicking in the door doesn't seem to be necessary (unless Catherine really wants too ;)).

As the door opens, an echoing creak resonates throughout the open chamber beyond. Through the doors is a large spacious, yet cluttered room. The smell of old dust and faint smoke linger in the air. Immediately before you is a half circle of old wooden pews with a smashed section through the center. The make shift barricade is about chest high. Rows of thick pillars support the roof on both sides of the chamber, with short braziers placed between; they are unlit. At the far end of the chamber is a stage, with stone chairs and a podium toppled over and scattered about. The back wall, on the stage, has a banner hanging high (see discord for the design). On either side of the stage are two visible doors, both open. It is cold, empty, and the sound of the stream fades to a muffle as you enter.

Quickly searching for your memory, you come to the conclusion that nothing specific comes to mind. You know this is not a symbol tied to the Sul'dal Empire, though. Gods and demigods come and go throughout the ages, and this apparent temple probably falls in that broad category.

Turning the corner into the left door, you all find yourselves to be in some sort of study/preparation chamber. Old moth-hole ridden robes dangle from pegs and a tall mirror is hung next to them, all along the left wall. Along the far wall is a long closed chest, and a tube that is holding two different staffs. Along the right wall, and what really catches your attention first, is a desk set perpedicular to the wall. It is very old with patches of thin, white fuzzy mold creeping up the bottom. Behind the desk facing you all is a chair with a robed skeleton (different robes than Orbid) hunched over with one arrow protruding from his sternum and the other rest loosely between some ribes. On the desk is a dropped ink feather, a tipped over ink well with the ink being long dried, and an open book. It looks like this person died while writting.

Sieghart follows closely behind Lucas as he heads inside the building. He keeps an arrow at hand in case of danger.

“Very interesting.”
Happy gets the dagger out, unwraps it and holds it before himself.
“Lets have a look.”
"What? Was it not some manner of black magic? Pah."
Catherine gives the dagger a leery eye, still distrustful of the magic item. Magic has never made much sense to her....
"Whatever it be, sort it, and then I shall break this door."
"I can't figure it out. Let's have a look at it again later. Now we have to find Orbid."
Happy puts the dagger back in his pack.

"Indeed."
Catherine takes hold of the door and pulls it open, stepping through with her weapon at the ready.

Catherine surveys the empty room, focusing on the banner for a moment to see if she can recall anything about its symbol or design.
History: 10
"Empty. Which door?" she asks, indicating the two that lay open before them.

“Best to just pick one and go with it.” Arlo moves to look through the door on the left
Paladin - warforged - orange
"Agreed," Catherine says, moving to the door on the left and stepping through.
Sieghart nods and moves to the left door with his companions.
