Whitegaze will follow him in, looking carefully at the various weapon and armor, trying to see if he can find one of those belts he’d heard about, the ones that made you strong as a giant, “Stick to your strengths they say.”

Robe of the Magi: 37 (go big or go home as they say)
Thursday walks into the armory... her eyes wide... "I can't believe it..." she looks specifically for a legendary item she's heard legends about... but comes up empty. She leaves the room.
"I'm ready to head out. After you all are done shopping that is."
Kale peers into the room, surprised that it actually worked. Even without the weapons seeming to be very magical at all, they're still a good many of them. "Well, at least we won't run out of throwing daggers anytime soon," he notes. He takes a closer look around to see if he can find a circlet of blasting.

Actually, there is such thing as Carpet of Flying and Al-Ashari carefully checked the armoury (still suspecting it can disappear) for the one: 33
It was not there, of course - would be too good to be true - but who knows, may be they will come across one one day.
For now she did one thing - went around the "home", memorizing every inch of it as best as she could. Tavern where they all all met was good, but so far that was the only place that truly felt safe.
"You certainly have a neck for it, Thursday. That world is the most kind - or the least cruel to you so far. But may be because you were very bold and open in your desires."
"By the way, why would we need to go to the tavern? No one can direct us anywhere here - it is simply not possible - and food is still in the kitchen. This place looks the safest and probably is - I say, we we truly make it our home here and go out only when necessary."
"Kale, would you risk to use your broom to spot that "crooked house" from above? Otherwise we can, of course, go to the Asylum. That seems to be a rather constant presence here."
((OOC: You said there are some notes in the book too ("notes have been made in a scribbled hand") are they readable at all?))

„Well, I was going to ask the tavern owner where the Crooked House was, but... as the only house owned by a duchess which has white flowers in the yard, I might be able to spot the flowers, at least. It‘ll likely move before I get back to tell you where, but at least we‘ll know what we‘re looking for.“ He grabs a bite to eat from the kitchen again, then moves to a window front of the house and looks outside.
If the coast is clear - no eldritch horrors lying in open wait on the street itself, Kale will step outside and throw another puffball from his bag of tricks: 4
(Oha, I guess I should clarify. Yes, Kale is going to skedaddle up above the city. Depending on what he produces from his furball. If it's a choker again, he'll just command it to sit tight on the broom behind him, which can carry up to 500lb, and hang with some of its tentacles to make sure neither it nor he fall off of the broom while they're flying around up there, in order to prevent anyone from getting hurt. If the "lion" is something less transportable, like an actual lion, it'll wait with the others.)

The scribbles in the book are mostly just children's scratches for the most part, though you do find a few references made in a less child-like hand that mention things like rules or conventions to follow, but nothing else.
OOC: I believe, we are all together standing at the entrance of the house and waiting for Kale's report from above.
At the moment they were busy with flying experiment, but when Kale will be back, Al-Ashari was going to talk about the book with the others. You never know who can come with the right idea.

„Make sure that raven stays with us and safe,“ Kale tells Whitegaze. „Familiars share a strong bond with their masters, he might be the key to finding our way back to the others quickly.“ As commanding as he might sound giving that order, even Kale knows he has to look somewhat less than impressive now, with what essentially is a choker sitting behind him, its long tentacles wrapped around his waist like a thick belt, or worse yet, a possessive lover.
„Let‘s stay low enough to spot anything that might remotely pass for a garden or courtyard with any white plantlife in it.“. Kale begins to circle through the air at a sedate pace on the broom, one both Whitegaze and thenraven can easily keep up with. He searches for any sign of the Crooked House.
Ooc: only Soveliss‘ raven is up here with us, Soveliss is on the ground with the rest of you, quite possibly blind and deaf if he‘s watching the search through his raven‘s eyes!

After a bit of searching... 1 hours to be exact you spot... The Crooked House is located on a dirty, run down side street. It is squat, and the upper floor has clearly been damaged by neglect. The front garden is littered with flowers of various kinds, which seem to have survived despite the unfriendly weather. Tombstones are spaced evenly around the house, and they all bear male names. There are precisely three-hundred and thirty three.
It takes some work, but you are able to get back to the others, and, though you find you have to take different streets this time, are able to navigate back to the house.
"There was a wicked man, and he had a wicked blade. The treasure lies in a shallow grave, covered by white flowers" recited Al-Ashari. "If the blade is in one of this graves, it would not be an easy task. Just saying."

(another „lion“)
Whitegaze will try and follow him, kicking up his winged boots.

It is indeed a choker again.
Do those leaving the house stay together to search or do you seperate to cover more ground?

Whitegaze would stay with Kale to search.
Soveliss sends his raven with the fliers and walks alongside Whitegaze and Kale.
