If the abomination could gasp, it would as it looks, somehow, aghast at Connor's remark. But quickly turns his attention back to the others as Axon hits him with a fire bolt. Even under the sudden hit, it still manages to fend off blades from both Hari and Rusty. But Rusty's dagger prevails once more as it sinks itself into the creature again. The fiend's limb goes to bite at 3

(1;4 for Hari, 2;5 for Rusty, 3;6 for Forjar)

Hari launches another blow at the creature.

Having his short sword knocked from his grasp an offended Rusty moves in for a an attack with his dagger in his off hand.

And with a final blow from Forjar, the rutterkin falls. The fiend's body crumples and convulses upon the destroyed flooring. It keeps moving as its body folds in on itself, making it smaller and smaller. When it stops, the skin rapidly ages as it looks to be similiar to a hunk of stone.

Boss is defeated.

Hari cleans and sheathes her sword, looking satisfied. "Onwards?"

Rusty cleans and sheaths his dagger, verifies his handbow is ready and gathers, inspects and cleans his fallen short sword. He checks his status after this latest encounter and will wait for the others before proceeding. Rusty scans the area to make sure no other threats are about.

INVESTIGATON  18

While the room is is torn into, there is no outcropping of of the glossy black ore. The ravine continues more into the destroyed mansion but will need  to go around through the other rooms of the mansion.

Rusty sheaths his short sword and grabs his hand-crossbow and his dagger in his offhand and begins to scout ahead.

Forjar grips his hammer and shield and follows decently behind to not spoil rusty's stealth.

In the next, Rusty sees two small creatures. About the size of the Manes but the major difference is that their whole body is taken up by their jaw. As the maw splits their body, showing a rows of fangs as it tears into a carcass. The creatures do have eyes, a total of three, and a number small limbs as it moves them surprisingly fast. The two creatures pull apart the body as it eats it whole, despite it being bigger than itself.

Rusty signals back to the group indicating two foes ahead of the group. He will wait for more assistance before he formulates his attack.

Hari gets into position to assist Rusty the moment he needs it.
