Flynt, you feel the healing energies flow through your own body. +5 hp, and you see your blood on the ground. There's a lot... but you feel better. Alive.
(Yep, to open the stone slabs which are keeping the crypts closed, you'll require an Athletics check, with advantage if using a crowbar or something to the equivalent.)
..... you are noticing that the ghostly chants also are a bit louder now that the battle is over. They seem to be coming generally from the southwest direction.
Flynt - if you recall, the crypts are blocked with huge slabs of rock (those white things on the map). If you want to bury the bones in the coffins, you will need to make an Athletics check to see if you can move the slabs in order to access the coffins. Advantage if you have a crowbar or something else.
Or.... were you thinking of burying the bones somewhere else?
Shae stands guard while the more religious party members inter the children. Her own god would demand justice and vengeance for their wrongful deaths, not a pretty burial. Not that there was anything wrong with such things, just that it wasn’t Shae’s place in the grand scheme of the realms.
Flynt, you try and lift the slab. It doesn't budge an inch.
Ignatia, you help Flynt and also give him the crowbar for leverage, and still, the rock slab does not move.
So that crypt is still closed.
Renny and Shae, if you'd like, you can also help with the use of Ignatia's crowbar. Or your own if you have one. If you decide to help, you can roll an Athletics check with advantage, to see if perhaps more of you can help out and open it.
Renny, you join Ignatia and Flynt in their attempt to move the slab... but it still doesn't move. Not even a little. Even with the three of you trying at the same time. The crypt remains closed... for now.
Shae remains on guard in the dining area.
There seems to be 2 potential ways out of the dining area. One way leading down a staircase, the other leading down a hallway. Or, you could go back.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shae takes a look back into the crypt when it seems to be taking longer than expected. Seeing the difficulties everyone is having, she lends a hand as well.
“The children deserve to be at peace. It’s usually not my place to do such things, but perhaps I can help.”

Shae, you regain the 5 hp!
Renny approaches and holds her dagger up, lighting the charred corpse a bit better, "Never seen anything like it. And I've read a lot of books."
"Oh that stinks"
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
" Not sure exactly, beak, tentacles....some sort of terrestrial cephalopod? Probably why we haven't seen too many rats."
" How are you feeling Flynt? Want to help me bury the kids or you need to rest up some more?"
She pulled her crowbar from her pack...

If she gets a positive answer Ignatia will go and open Roses tomb.

Ignatia, it seems these slabs are heavier than you thought. It doesn't seem to budge... even when reefing on the crowbar for leverage.
Renny, your lit up dagger has also uncovered a bit more of the map, specifically the ways out of this dining chambers.
Flynt nods and stands. "I am better. The children should be tended to first." He'll help bury the children and carry their bones.

Flynt glances at the coffins and places the bones on the ground. He attempts to lift the coffin with Ignatia.

Ignatia saw Flynt struggling with levering the slab and handed him her crowbar.
OOC:
Help action + crowbar to give Flynt advantage.

We are defeated by a stone slab............*sigh*
Flynt, you try and lift the slab. It doesn't budge an inch.

Only if you so desire, of course.
If not, what's next?
Flynt shrugs. "Perhaps we could burn the bones since we can't get them open."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Ignatia snatched the crowbar back, now very angry at this lump of rock, and utterly fails to do anything of use.
" Its right there.......right there.....", she said slumping to the ground.

Alas... the stone slab still does not move.
Shae is still standing guard, watching the area with keen eyes. The ghostly chanting also continues....
Renny, will you join Flynt and Ignatia and try to help them with the slab, or are we done here? (if help, then roll Athletics check with advantage)
Renny is a tiny thing but she wanders up and tries to help....
(this could be hilarious.. or not..)
