Galvanice weirds seem to be the epitome of weird technology. Indeed, they serve willingly, with cheerful stupidity, as guardians and laborers in Izzet workshops. They combine a rigid body of elemental ice with a core of lightning that animates them. If a galvanice weird is destroyed, the ice shatters and lightning crackles outward in a dangerous explosion. Still, most Izzet researchers find that their usefulness outweighs this risk.
As you climb up out of the lab, and back to street level, you come out and start looking for the trail of destruction that the weird left behind. Following the trail is not hard...
The destruction leads the party to a plaza on Tin Street. Once they reach the plaza, the trail suddenly disappears as if it was a dead end. There are no more tracks from the weird in any direction.
There are several citizens in the plaza though. We will do a group investigation check... Please roll an investigation check if your character would be asking those around for information. We will add them together and divide to get the average. Then I will tell you what you found out.
Decided to give responses based on individual rolls instead... For those who got a 20... The Palace of Pain’s Pleasures was set up in this plaza when the weird arrived.
For those who got above a 15... The weird was seen entering a circus house that isn’t here right now.
For those below 10... There was a Rakdos circus here not long ago
Everyone make an Intelligence (History) check to see what they know about Ophyira’s Palace of Pain’s Pleasures. Characters who belong to the Cult of Rakdos make this check with advantage.
Zef nods in appreciation and takes the entire vial in one gulp. He begins to relax as the potion restores 5 health.
