With a frustrated huff, Juri hands over a gold and walks towards the entrance. As he enters, and definitely after he passes, he wants to telekineticly summon an invisible mage hand and pick that gold out of that guy‘s pocket.
Bartash will pay the 1 zino following Iveta in playing the guardrole and keep his eyes open for anyone moving close and will step in the way if someone does.
For those who have paid the admission, you are lead to an antichamber of sorts. There are cushions to sit on, and a door that is locked. Saying the password to the attendant has her moving to the door and speaking to someone inside.
"We will let you know when the next pain artist is available." She says to the group when she returns. "When they come down you will be able to accompany them up to their rooms..."

Juri smirks, shrugs his shoulders and keeps walking in. He takes it all in, since he had to pay to be here he may as well see what he can see and hear what he can hear and.....smell what....he....can.....”what is that smell,” Juri asks as he walks through the doors?
Guarded by a cult fanatic and an imp, each of these antechambers are where customers seeking the attention of a private pain artist pay their admission. Customers must then wait for the pain artist to become available and escort them up the stairs to the second floor.
As you wait you hear sounds and catch the unmistakable scent of blood more than once. Looking around the area a bit closer Nivrell doesn't find anything that points where the weird would be.
You do find that there are three doors off of this chamber. One door is the one that the attendant spoke thorugh when you arrived. There is a smaller door to one side,a nd another, normal door, to the opposite. The smaller door says 'Staff Only', while the normal door says 'VIP Waiting'.
The attendant leaves you here, returning back towards the front entrance.
After a moment of patient waiting, Nivrell pulls out his homemade Weave Fluxometer, which he promptly begins to fiddle with it. Over the next ten minutes, if uninterrupted, it will function as the Ritual spell detect magic.

The entire place detects of magic, since it is all part of a magical construct. Over that you do get only one other real blip of magic. Through the smaller door, the one that says 'Staff Only' you detect a blip of enchantment magic.
Nivrell fights to hide his excitement at the sudden realization (though any non-Vedalken would likely register no change in expression, anyway) that there is a sign of magic beyond the "staff only" door. Aware that the party is likely being watched, Nivrell devises a means of seruptitiously alerting the others. Nivrell pulls some hardtack from his pack, he writes on 2 with his soldering iron, while pretending to work on his broken invention. After a moment, he takes a break and eats one of the biscuits. Then notices the others in the room, as if he'd forgotten them, and offers each a biscuit. On them is inscribed the message: "magic in staff only".
He offers biscuits to all in the party, though only two will have the message.
Ooc: magical tinkering. Shuts down the lights on hammer and screwdriver from earlier, but the puppet is still up.
Nivrell replies to Iveta with a simple "You're welcome." but he uses his eyes and subtlly cranes his neck to try and draw her attention to the door, hoping none of the Rakdos cultists notice the exchange.
“Look, if you want to try and go for it, then do it. I read somewhere that it is just about speaking with confidence as if you are in the know. While this hasn’t worked for me every time, it does work enough. Or, we just sit here. Which is highly more boring than your idea of seeing the other side of the door.” Juri says to Nivrell after watching the exchange and seeing his ‘subtle’ movements.
Bored, Juri looks around for some torches or fire in the room. If he finds some he casts Control Flames on to make a mirror image of the Imp twirling in circles on its head within the fire.

(I must have forgotten to mention this, but you are alone in this chamber...) The door to the entrance is closed, the attendant having gone out. The door to the VIP area is closed,a nd the Staff-Only door is closed. The door to the Pain Artist area is also closed. Unless someone is watching you through other means, there is no one around to watch you right now.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Well then lets just go open the door..
Nivrell listens at the staff only door, if he doesn't hear anyone on the other side, he opens it. If nothing hinders him, he will look for clues to the whereabouts of the weird.
((Sorry. I was out for most of the weekend.))
How much would Zef know about Rakdos cultists?
Give me a sleight of hand check then.
You also get the password for the public door.

The man swats aside the hand and glares at you, but does not keep you from going inside.
Iveta takes her seat, drawing her knees in protectively, and waits. She listens nervously to the sounds within the Palace.

Iveta takes a biscuit, murmurs "Thank you," then furrows her brow. "What staff?" she whispers.

Inside the door...
This is the area where props are kept.
There is also a small cage in this area that is currently inhabited by the galvanice weird. The weird seems to be unconscious.
What do you do?
