Tar sets his gear along a wall and squats to rest a moment, replying to Lyria in jest- "Yea, but you took a good beating. Impressive for smoothskins..!" He looks around a moment- "Where's the chief? I hope its a strategic payoff, we secured the grain stores."
"Yes, and I am deeply thankful to you." Nighthill appears from the archway to the stairs. "That will sustain us for the coming months while we rebuild. It appears they have abandoned the prospect of retaking the mill, as about half of their forces just loaded up carts and wagons with what they have stolen and headed away from the town, to the Southeast. The rest will probably not be long after them, as-"
BOOM. Nighthill is cut off by a loud noise from the direction of the front gate. Screaming mobs of townsfolk pour into the central area of the keep and loud bell alarms sound as guards yell, "A breach! They've breached the sally-port!"
Nighthill runs in, pushing through the tide of townspeople, followed closely by Escobert. What are you doing?

Kod looks away quickly. Under breath "welcome" lumbers off.
In the keep. Kod looks tired slumping shoulders inspecting his damaged axe. The crack has gotten larger. In response to the boom. He jumps up squares shoulders holds the great axe in both hands and waits to follow Tar or Lyria in their next action.
I've had enough of these cultists..... let us drive them into the early graves they so desperately seek. I look for and take the quickest path towards the booming sound.
Potato nods, understanding poetically the bond between a warrior and his weapon is as close as any cleric and his faith, or a thief and anyone else's coinpurse, or a druid and his goat lover... Potato glances at Place and wonders. Straps his maul on his back again.
I swear to Lyria's God that by the end of this day the town will be safe and those misguided ****s will know that they can not surmount a force comprised of opposing dragons(Potato, Kod, Tar) the divine (Lyria) and the very forest itself(Place, and Delirious).

"I thought this was a small town.." Tar complains, as he picks up his shield, raps the rim with his hilt several times and starts jogging toward the noise.
Before returning to the keep, Delirious collects the mercenaries entrails and the cultists kidneys and liver. Also if any of the dead had a shortsword on them he will take that as well.

(No shortswords, sorry. They used scimitars and spears, however, under AL rules you can't take items that aren't listed as treasure, even non-magical items that are listed you can only use until the end of the session. As far as the collection of edible body parts, roll survival.)
You all file into the sally port after the wave of people exit. They must have been crammed in here because it is not large. A 10'x20' hallway with a door on either end. Nighthill and Escobert are in the corners to your right and left, allowing you to pass. You enter in ranks of 2, first Lyria and Tar, then Kod and Potato, and behind Place' and Delirious.
In front of you, entering the sally port from outside in the same fashion, are two drakes side by side with kobold riders, a few more kobolds behind that, and then four robed figures, different robes than the standard cultist robes, carrying clubs instead of scimitars.

Round 1
As Kod leans in and sends a line of lightning past Tar through the enemy ranks, they attempt to scatter in the tight quarters, cursing their assault formation. Drake Save: 15 / Kobold Saves: 5 / 18 / 20 / Acolyte Saves: 13 / 12 Unfortunately, all but one kobold managed to dodge the worst of it, that one was electrocuted and now lies smoldering on the ground.
The two mounted kobolds stay put and ready their daggers, the two behind the cavalry sling rocks, one at Tar and one at Lyria. Tar: Attack: 16 Damage: 4 Lyria: Attack: 19 Damage: 4 The front line holds and suffers no injuries from the rocks.

The kobold ducks Place's first stone and as he's laughing catches the second stone between the eyes. He falls backwards off the drake, removing one of the held attacks Lyria was about to receive.
Delirious lets an arrow fly that sails over the entire column of friends and foes alike and arcs down into the acolyte's shoulder.
Lyria holds her holy symbol and attempts to catch the three creatures on the front line in her radiant blast. 3 / 13 / 10 The two drakes are unaffected, but the kobold is blasted backwards off the drake's back. Not before taking his held attack action, though: Attack: 14 Damage: 3 (Oof, thanks for those Temp HPs, right?) Lyria is hurting again. (3 HP)
The Drakes Attack what's in front of them, one at Lyria and one moves forward to Tar. Lyria: (Pack Tactics) Attack: 18 Damage: 2 Lyria takes a bite to the leg and passes out. Tar: Attack: 17 Damage: 4 Tar smacks its face away with his shield.
Tar and Potato are up.

Potato slides the unblemished maul off his back, holding it before Kod. "Potato only use it to impress girls. Maybe Kod-kin use to impress all?"
"There's still bite left in my axe."
