Hordkhen bursts out of the glue and leaps off the ledge. (You'd have to jump off, your other options would be to climb down, which isn't very fast, or to break down the metal gate at the bottom of the stairs. He reaches the tentacle wrapped around Lyria and slices but doesn't cut all the way through. "Ow!" The creature yells. "Food fighting back?"

Between Kod and Kamag, you do exactly enough damage to kill both kobolds. You may use your movement if you'd like to exit the pit, but Kod will take an attack of opportunity since one of them will be alive still upon his exit.
Place' is up, no kobolds remain. You can climb out, but it'll be difficult to use a ladder, I'd say a low DC Athletics or Acrobatics, Elk's choice.

Round 3: Bomb Chuckers and Darkness
Kod hacks through a kobold and lightning arcs from him to the next one. It shrieks and is immediately finished off by Kamag. Both kobolds fall and Kamag leads the way out of the pit, picking his torch up on the way.
Place' tries to ascend the ladder with his hooves: 5 and does so effortlessly. He peers into the darkness and is unable to make anything out but hears his team members in trouble and leaps off the drop-off. 20 He tumbles at the bottom and takes 5 Bludgeoning, but continues the charge toward the source of tentacles.
