Speaking to the others in Common, Gerrard says, "They are issuing more threats if they don't receive their weapons. I told them you are looking for them, and if we can't find them, we can let them speak to the authorities in Saltmarsh about being cheated by the pirate captain. Captain Fenwader, I suggest you also look in the chests/boxes we have found that are unopened, especially if you have found more keys. Given the nature of their threats, I have stayed here to guard the sails, as they flatly refuse to go to town."
OOC: I think Peri has a new silver key and at least one drawer or box he has unlocked but not opened.

Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
(OOC: Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's a wooden, brass-bound chest, and a brass box remaining unopened, both locked. As to keys, there's the small key the Peri found in the captain's desk. I believe Peri finally opened the chest he unlocked - that's the one that slashed his leg and held the electrum ingots.)
From the tension in Gerrard's voice, it sounded like things were getting a little touchy on deck. Peri hurries up to be closer to the action if things go bad. Keeping one eye on the lizardfolk and his spear near to hand, he will check the unopened chests for traps, then unlock and open them (whichever is larger first).
On the main deck, Peri investigates the brass box found under the bed in cabin 13:
Investigation: 7
He finds no evidence of traps.
Then he checks the wooden, brass-bound chest found in Punketah's quarters:
Investigation: 7
He finds no evidence of traps on this one, either.
Trying the small key on both boxes, he finds it fits neither. It's too small. In order to open them, the locks may be picked, the boxes smashed or pried open, or you'll need to search for the keys.
Keeping his eyes on the Lizardfolk, Gerrard asks, “Did you find anything in the boxes, Captain Fenwader? Or have you found anything hidden in the barrels, Master Qivys?”

The lizardfolk talk among themselves, too quietly for anyone to overhear. You can see them pointing and gesturing, as one appears to be giving instructions to the other two. The tiny dragonlike creature stops circling and lands on the crow's nest.
If the Lizardfolk have their weapons out, Gerrard will too. Speaking to Peri, he says, “I think we are at an impasse, Captain. Even if we can find their weapons, we are going to want to go to Saltmarsh first and ensure they won’t be using the armaments against the townsfolk before delivering them to the rendezvous point...and they have flatly refused that plan.”

Dwal
Dwal shakes his head and says "Well that seems to have torn that asunder."
If the Lizardmen start to move to surround the party Dwal will use Thaumaturgy to cause the deck of the ship to shake.
"I am Dwal Fiercehammer son of Maxal, son of Durn and the Blood of Dragons flows through my veins. End your aggression or face the wrath of dragons."he says in draconic.
Intimidation:17
and he stutters and spits as he does so being more comical than intimidating :P
Dwal stuttering? Something must have gone wrong, or is about to. In Dwarven he asks "What is the plan brother? Are we getting ready to fight these passengers? Point me in the right direction." He takes a seat on a nearby coil of rope and places his shield across his knees in the pretense of cleaning and inspecting it. He begins whistling, all the while watching the creatures out the corner of his eye. "Their pet dragon just landed. Might mean things are about to go sideways"Again, in the dwarf tongue.
Moving quickly after the one going into the galley, Gerrard positions himself between the Lizardfolk and the crewman, ready to intervene if the scaly creature does something overtly violent.

"Parrot, I think you're a very smart bird" he shouts as he follows a lizard down into the hold. "Took this ship from down there, may as well save the ship from there too." He grumbles to himself as he descends back down into the belly of the ship.
The lizardfolk brusquely brushes by Gerrard and Mortly and begins opening bins and drawers, probing the water cask with its javelin, and generally giving the cabin a rough search. It moves on to the cabin containing the galley stores.
Likewise, another ignores Qivys and begins to unlash casks, unroll bolts of silk, and generally search the cargo hold (leaving a bit of a mess in the process.)
You hear furniture being moved in the captain's quarters.
"C' l' ilyaa," responds the lizardfolk to Gerrard.
"We expect to."
Mortly laughs and shakes his head at the mess it made in the galley. You hear a jar fall and shatter in the galley stores. "That was our honey," remarks Mortly.
Qivys watches as a lizardfolk shakes each cask, and punctures one with his javelin and club. Brandy sloshes out.
The third lizardfolk in the captain's captain has moved on to Punketah’s Quarters.
Dwal watches the Lizard men go too and fro in search for their weapons. Something dawns on him.
"If they find their weapons before we do, they may claim we were trying to cheat them and it may be a reason for them to pick a fight." he calls out "Best be looking for them ourselves."
Gerrard replies with exasperation, “What do you think we’ve been doing Brother Fiercehammer? We’ve already looked through this ship top to bottom for weapons! Just don’t let them destroy too much or start a fire if you can help it!”
OOC: I don’t know if Dwal shook the brandy kegs as Peri asked and if any of them clanked instead of sloshed...
The lizardfolk methodically move through the ship. The one in Punketah's room heads down into the hold to help his compatriot search through the cargo, and through the neighboring cabins. The one still above, now in the ship's storeroom, has begun to puncture and probe the wooden bulkhead partitions between the cabins with its javelin and club - the sound of pounding and splintering can be heard.
The morning is bright, but overcast. The dragonlike beast hunts and catches a seagull for its breakfast. A cold, steady breeze blows.
"Then ye haven't looked in the right place." Dwal calls out. "These is piravtes and smugglers yes? Din where is the secret part of the hold at, in case they was boarded by a king's ship?"
Dwal heads down below deck and starts searching. "Blasted ships, give me a good study mountain any time." he grumbles.

Then, after a pause, they unsheathe their javelins.
One heads briskly into the galley, where Mortly is cleaning up.
One heads into the captain's quarters.
One climbs down into the hold.
The little dragon continues to perch.
"Kill 'em all!" shrieks the parrot.
