”Aye, Brother Fiercehammer, to battle!” cries Gerrard moving up to engage the transforming statue and sliding to its east to leave room for Bokowolf to enter melee if desired.
Taking a few experimental stabs with his weapons against the animating statue, Gerrard prepares to parry if the fearsome creature decides to attack him.

Gerrard Feldren - Human Noble in Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
Feeling the surge from Dwal's bless, Gerrard strides forward into the room.
All three of Gerrard's swings connect, shearing away pieces of the statue's stonelike form. It's not as hard as it looks, but it is massive - Gerrard has a long way to go to fell this thing.

Peri:
Peri scurries around behind the statue and drives his spear into its calf, hoping to hamstring it before it can harm his friends. Spear: 13 + 1 Bless for 6 magical piercing
He follows with a kick to its other ankle: 11 + 3 Bless for 7 bludgeoning

Kei
"It's fake! All fake! Who would do such a thing?!" His grumbling coming from the West side of the room. He begins ranting and swearing in a low mumble when the room itself seems to reply. The giant jade statue comes to life and makes a move towards the party. In an almost flippant manner he lets loose a flash of light that speeds towards the stone enemy. His form materialises as the light flashes past Peri who is on the move south. "Stupid treasure. Always something...." His grumbles trail off into little more than grunts.
Peri finds that while this strange magical construct lacks hamstrings, his spear does indeed damage it, as does his kick.
So, too, does Kei's radiant blast. (Kei pops back into sight.)
Large pieces of it have fallen away, revealing nothing but more solid jade within. But it still has plenty of unnatural life left in it, as it prepares to spring upon the party. It glitters with an eerie, dim light from Kei's attack.
Bokowolf is up next! (+d4 from bless, advantage on first attack)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bokowolf bounds over Dwal (who moved forward five feet, if i’m reading right) and darts to the statue, fangs bared, trying to gnaw off a hand with her magic teeth, which glow a pale blue.
Bite attack 22 + 4 from Bless; Damage 16 and knocked prone with a failed DC13 STR save
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leaping over Dwal, Bokowolf charges forward and tears a piece of the statue's arm out. It is definitely looking rough, before it even finishes its shocking, fanged advance. It attempts to hold it's ground from the powerful direwolf... DC13 Strength Save: 15

Gerrard:
Looking with concern in Peri's direction, Gerrard keeps up the pressure on the strange statue, stabbing again and again at it while hoping his friend is okay.
Attacking the same arm Bokowolf damaged, Gerrard slashes and stabs at the appendage where it attaches to the creature's torso, attempting to disable it, or at least make it more vulnerable to the powerful dire wolf's attack.

Kei
The thud of his halfling friend taking a dirt nap brings Kei's attention to the ongoing battle. "Oh. That thing is still alive." He looses another flash of light. "Bokowolf, take it's head off!" The barked command offering the dire wolf a sense of urgency so much so it bolsters her resolve.

Peri is knocked insensible by the first set of powerful jade claws (the second blow unsuccessfully redirected toward Boko.) Its dark green fangs extend, and it drinks deeply from Peri's blood as he lays on a heap on the floor.
Gerrard deals it a trio of powerful blows. More dark green fragments fall from the massive statue. It is looking broken and unstable, but it seems to feel no pain.
Legendary Bite Attack vs: Gerrard: Bite Attack: 8. Hit: 9 piercing damage, and a curse...
Kei's arcane missile splinters more jade fragments - this construct is beginning to crumble, but it continues to advance undeterred.
Seeing Peri back on his feet, it turns, raises its head, and pulls upwards with its arms. Peri feels some portion of his blood arcanely and remotely drawn away. (5 necrotic damage to Peri - part of the curse - another legendary action.)
Peri and Boko may act. Peri is at disadvantage (another consequence of curse.) The first attack against it has advantage, due to Kei's spell (or if it's Peri, that will simply negate his disadvantage.)

Peri:
Peri's eyes snap open. He is disoriented for an instant, wondering why he's lying on a cold, hard stone floor. Then memory returns -- memory of the statue slamming a fist into him and, as consciousness faded, of it leaning down and sinking its fangs deep into his chest. Felt like they went into my soul, he shudders. Just then the creature looks at him and makes a pulling gesture, and he can feel a bit of him being torn away. A flash of fear, then of fury. He snatches his enchanted spear from the ground where it had fallen from his hands. He stands and roars as he races up the statue's side, ugly magic slippers clinging to it like the stone of the walls, all the way to its shoulders. "GIVE ME BACK MY SOUL, YOU STONY BASTARD!!!" he shrieks, and he stabs the spear down into its neck. (Spear: 26 + 2 Bless for 9 damage) He attempts to kick it in its head from his precarious perch. (FOB #1: 10 + 2 Bless for 7; FOB #2: 17 + 2 Bless for 7)

Peri successfully impales the statue with his spear and cracks another great hunk off it, dislodging it with a well-aimed kick. It is nearly unable to function.
Seeing the massive direwolf lunching, the thing gets in a preemptive bite, its fangs again extended.

Meanwhile, one of the specters pops out of the wall behind Dwal.
Surprise: 16 vs. Dwal's and Kei's passive perception (12 and 20)
Kei catches the ghostly arm out of the corner of his eye before it is able to hit Dwal. He may act first. (Everyone else is surprised.)
