Peri:
Peri knew the talk of getting out while the gettin' was good was way too easy. We did come all this way; probably need more to show for it than a coupla rescued prisoners. "All right, let's go screw up some stuff -- it is what we're good at. When we find the gate, maybe I can find a way to muck up the gears so it'll be stuck. If it's stuck open, good; if it's stuck shut, they'll have to remove it to use the entrance, right?" He looks down the tunnel, where the sound of cheering can be heard, and shrugs. "If they do catch us, hopefully they'll bring us back here to lock us up and you lot can pound 'em." He waits for Kei's spell to take effect before starting quietly down the passage, clinging to the wall near the ceiling. (Stealth:21)

Kei
If there's no objections from the rest of the group he heads out of the torture room. He waves a hand at Krill who promptly disappears in a wisp of smoke (underwater?) and then begins the arcane gestures powering his Invisibility spell. He briefly touches Peri on the shoulder and they both fade from view. "Let the fun begin." he whispers.
Kei and Peri vanish from view. Boko casts Pass without Trace (+10 to Stealth checks for the next hour) and returns to octopus form.
The three head out of the torture chamber and begin to make their way east and then south, toward the east entrance to the arena.
The halls remain empty and quiet, save for the roar of the crowd in the arena.
Kei is invisible and has advantage on Perception checks due to his shield. +10 Stealth while within 30' of Boko. (But can he see in the dark?) Peri is invisible and has Devil’s Sight out to 120 ft. (Also Eldritch Sight to detect magic out to 30'.) +10 Stealth while within 30' of Boko. Bokotupus has Advantage and +10 on Stealth checks, and Darkvision 30 ft. (She does NOT have Blindsense.)
Gerrard and Qivys hang back with Oceanus and the freed prisoners.
Unless you have any business, Peri, Kei, and Bokotopus make their way to the southeast corner Bokotopus has spied around earlier.
Peri can see clear down the southern hallway Borgas described, but he can also see into the arena. It's a deep-set arena, with tiers of seating above. The gallery is far from full, but Peri can see dozens of sahaugin seated within. In the arena proper, two sahuagin are locked in mortal combat, each unarmed and tearing at the other with vicious claws and bone-crushing bites.
They may venture inside for a closer look, or they can probably easily continue south without detection.
Peri reaches out to find Kei's shoulder before they can drift apart and get separated -- Can't say we never learn from past mistakes. He holds onto Kei's shoulder as they swim down the long passageway. At the entrance to the arena he gives Kei a little tug to hold up. He peers around the corner and reports back in a whisper, "Not what I feared -- I thought they were killin' more prisoners. Just two of the devils tearin' each other apart. Let's go." He moves down the long tunnel, scanning for magical traps.
A halflings small hand on his shoulder provides a larger than expected reassurance as they move further away from Gerrards moonblade. In pitch darkness Kei relies on Peri and Boko to guide the way. A sharp tug brings him to a halt. Then they're off again. So this is what blindness feels like. His palm starts to sweat (underwater?) as he grips his shield tighter.
With Oceanus silently standing nearby, and Qivys keeping watch, Gerrard queries the prisoners. Borgas intends to join the mission and see this through, if only to exact revenge for his eel companion. Kysh will also join the mission, out of honor. His sea lion, you can see, is a relatively powerful and dangerous beast that obeys Kysh closely. It swims back and forth with restrained impatience.
Kei, Peri, and Bokotupus make their way south to the end of the black tunnel. Two archways appear. The one to the west, acoustics suggest, likely leads into the arena. From the one to the right, many sahuagin voices can be heard in conversation. The hallway itself remains clear, and continues south.
Another tug on Kei's shoulder and Peri whispers, "Hold. I'll peek around the corner." He carefully creeps along the top of the wall and just barely pokes his head out to see around the corner to the north.
Peri gets a glimpse of a pillared area with a vast seaweed bed at the north end and a number of coffers, their lids closed, set neatly against the west wall. It's a barracks of some sort. Many sahuagin relax in this chamber – more than a dozen, although Peri can't see the whole room to get a full head count. Most of their weapons (mainly spears) have been laid aside, though within easy reach. They talk, check their equipment, sharpen their weapons, or simply swim lazily around.
Peri swims back, able to find Boko, and whispers, "Barracks. Lots of eels. Maybe look closer on the way out." Then he gropes around for Kei's shoulder again and heads for the other corner, peeking around to the south.
Looking north, Peri sees into the arena from a new vantage point. The battle continues within, and the sparse audience is swept up in the action on the arena floor.
Looking south, Peri sees part of what might be the guard post that Borgas described. A long bench set against the west wall, on it sits three armed sahuagin. You do see neither net nor gate, at least from this angle. Any further movement south (or north) will require a stealth check (+10 if Boko is within 30' of you, which she is not, currently.)
"This really is unnerving. Remind me to find a way to see in the dark if we get out of here" he whispers to Boktopus. He continues to be guided by his friends.
Boko, Kei, and Peri peer south into the Guard Post. The three sahuagin sitting on the bench seem to be going nowhere fast, and based on the dynamics of their casual conversations, you expect there are probably additional guards in the room as well.
”Prepare yourselves,” whispers Gerrard as he draws his Main Gauche, “Something heavy approaches. If it isn’t our friends, we will need to strike quickly and decisively before they can sound an alarm.”
Gerrard braces himself behind the door, ready to pounce on any incoming foes.

Back at the prison, Gerrard pumps the rescued people for more information, trying to commit as much as possible to memory.
”We should be ready to leave soon, I would think. Will you be accompanying us to the above water entrance, or going your own way?” he asks.
