Being somewhat agile himself, Gerrard helps Boko and/or Peri if one of them needs it. He figures that between the magic slippers and the rod, his friends will have them up in place ashore in no time.

Boko climbs the short path to the heavy, closed wooden door leading inside. (There are no windows anywhere visible on the ground floor of the fortress.) Water streams off the roof and down the path, spattering her with mud.
She successfully edges along the crumbling wet ledge to the base of the bell tower, but finds the hillside here too slippery to ascend. (Is Gerrard following her? She can use that second help roll, but only after Gerrard succeeds on his own DC12 acrobatics check.)
Gerrard successfully navigates the crumbly ledge without falling, and then boosts Boko up the side of the hill adjacent to the bell tower. Boko is now halfway up the hill, and should be able to climb the rest from here with relative ease. The bottom end of the rope she used earlier to descend from a hole in the tower wall lay in the mud here, still affixed at the top inside the abandoned quarters within the tower. The wind is stronger here, where it blasts around the sloped stone walls of the bell tower.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Boko looks down to see if Thwack is climbing up to the door to see about opening it. While he gets up there, she climbs the rest of the way up the hill and looks around the side of the fortress. Anyone there? Any change from earlier? Is Rasp's body still there? If she needs to move around a bit more to do that, she'll do so, telling the group she's just taking a look and will be back momentarily.
Watching as Boko and Gerrard begin to traverse the slippery hillside, Thwack calls out to Boko. "Make sure to bring back stick!" He then looks at Peri and Qivys. "Why not we knock on door? Maybe they just let us in." With that he takes off towards to the door, humming as he goes.
Boko faces a blasting torrent of wind and rain as she pokes her head over the top of the hill near the bell tower and into the brunt of the raging gale. She can't see much in the howling tempest, but she can see the silhouette of Rasp's body maybe 100 feet to the north, still laying in the grass, which whips violently in the wind. There is nothing and no one to be seen on this side of the isle except a potent, blinding storm. She cannot see the ocean or dock, which she knows to be not far away, due to the storm.
Thwack climbs the muddy hill in the footsteps of Gerrard and Boko. It's not too wet near the sturdy wooden door, and while the air is disturbed, the fortress blocks most of the wind in this sheltered corner.
When Boko returns, Gerrard says, “Did you see the carcass, Mistress Alcor? If it is not too heavy I might be able to pull it around into the lee of the fort so the hide doesn’t get ruined in the storm.” Though he does not relish going into the full force of the storm, he is willing to do it briefly if needed.
”Otherwise we should check this door, I would think,” he suggests thinking they should be able to get the others to it without too much trouble assuming once inside they can make a secure place to rest and securely tie off the boat in the bay.

"Thwack, no!" He grabs the oblivious kobold. After Boko returns and Gerrard suggests the door, Peri lets him go. "Don't knock! Remember all those bodies out there? They're most likely the people who used to live here. Which means anything in there is probably unfriendly. Try to open the door, but be careful and quiet, okay?"
Thwack stops dead in his tracks as Peri grabs his shoulder. "Me didn't do it!" He says reactively. He listens to the reasoning and nods along. "Oh, OK. You very smart Teri."
When released he begins his journey, again, this time not whistling and with a little more caution. When he reaches the door he first looks for any sign of booby-traps. (Assuming he finds none and that the door has an accessible lock of sorts) He proceeds to pull a handful of nails, sticks and fish bones from a pouch. He carefully studies the door selects the appropriate set of tools. He attempts to pick the lock.
Boko slides back down the hillside and out of the wind, to where Gerrard is clinging. Qivys soon joins them there.
Thwack soon discovers that, while the door won't open, it is not actually locked. Rather, it's barricaded from within. It might be able to be forced open with a successful Athletics check, but lockpicking here won't help.
Peri climbs onto the wall, about eight feet up so that he's out of the way, and walks over to be between Qivys/Thwack and Gerrard/Boko to help relay information over the noise of the storm. "Strange, the door bein' blocked with all the bodies out there," he shouts. "If those were the folks from inside the fort, and they were killed by raiders and thrown into the sea, who woulda blocked the door after? Either there's folks still alive in there, or the raiders blocked it up on their way out."
"So, do we try to force it, or do we go around to the front door?" If the idea is to try to force the door he will offer the crowbar to help.
”Let’s force it open if we can,” says Gerrard, using the rope and rod to get back over to the door, “The front door should be our backup if we can’t force the door here.”
Gerrard will help Qivys if he agrees with this plan, gladly adding his strength to the dwarf’s as they use the crowbar for leverage.

(Qivys may roll an Athletics check with advantage due to Gerrard's help.)
Looking up, Peri notes that there's a crenelated battlement, set with arrow slits, just above where he clings sideways to the stone fortress wall – a walkway, open to the sky, overlooking part of the grotto. It only extends about halfway across this section of wall, though (the lefthand side,) for above the doorway where Thwack stands, the wall extends, unbroken except for a single arrow slit, all the way up to the roof.

Qivys makes it to where Thwack and Gerrard are located. "Alright lads." he says as he places his hands on the door. "lets give it tha old heave ho." With that Qivys will lay his strength to the door to get it open, with Gerrard's help.
Peri peeks through the arrow slit on the floor above the door. It appears to be a dark, empty hallway of some sort, although Peri can't see much. He sees no movement, at least.
Below him, Qivys and Gerrard try to force open the door. It doesn't budge. (DC higher than 11!)
The rain continues to pour; the wind howls over the top and sides of the fortress.
