Not long after you resume moving, Jardor sees silversy light ahead. Moving further along you start to see spider wbs. A lot of spider webs. Ranging in sizes from small cobwebs to giant geometric shapes linking several trees together. Some webs are also on the ground, but you spot them and walk around.
Eventually you reach a point when moving ahead through the forest becomes impossible without cutting through the webs (though a sufficiently nimble creature could probably squeeze through).
"Well, this seems like an unpleasant time all around. From the looks of these webs there are likely some truly monstrous specimens in there. Should we attempt to press forward or try to find away around?"

"This could be what warned off the scavengers. Those beasts would make great meals for such monstrous specimens. We need to determine if we are here to end a threat or merely taking stroll to see what is about. I say we delve in and seek out these webbed terrors."

Gara mumbles something about wrong preparation and fire chemicals, before his focus is pulled back to the conversation: „I would say we walk around for now. It is near impossible to surprise a spider in her web, so i would prefer as much information as we ca get before going in there.“ Is there a direction that seams to be less webbed? East or west?
You move east (into D2), following the strip of land between the ravine you just crossed and the webs. After around 1 hour of walking, you find several fallen trees over the ravine, held together by webs, forming a makeshift bridge. The wall of webs is noticeably thinner in this location an with a couple of large openings.
Serit eyes the makeshift bridge and the looser webbing and openings. The Bugbear summons his shadowy weapon, crafting it into a longsword. He approaches the hanging webs and tests the weapons cutting edge against the webs.

„Looks like we found a way in.“ Gara will order Efeu to stay close to Serit while he cuts a way open and to keep his senses sharp to spot any danger even from above. While Gara will follow 10 to 15 ft behind.
Serit frowns at the howl, "That howl was ill timed. I personally do not want to try that bridge unless we have to. Perhaps we can leave your," he waves his hand at Efeu, "well, that to keep an eye out."
Gara grabs the spot where the wolfspiders attack pierced his flesh: „I would prefer to keep him close, also he is not really good in raising alarm over longer distances, you may have noticed the lack of a mouth, or lungs for that matter.“ Gara replies friendly.
The Bugbear raises his eyebrows and bends down to inspect Efeu, "Well, you are right. As I should have just assumed. I guess then we see what we can about this newest threat."
Who is at the front of the formation?
Efeu would scout 20 ft ahead.
Skill :Vigilant. The defender can’t be surprised.

The ethereal sword cuts some of the webs.
