Gara pushes back the spider that bit him with his shield before he tries to stab the beast.
Attack: 18 Damage: 10
Efeu also comes back to Gara and one of the golems arms transforms into a spiked club. The construct hits the spider from behind (i forgot, are we using flanking?).
Serit too spins as the last spider falls, looking for more or for the beast they had cornered earlier, "Great work everyone. Keep your eyes out for any extras."
With a high-pitched "meow", you see a couple of small heads stick out from the hideout under the tree. The lynx gently pushes them back in and takes a guarded posture facing your group.
„ I think she is fine.“ He will look at the spider corpses and based on how big they are he will leave enough for the lynx and her kitten, but he will remove anything that looks like it would be to much and will just attract unwanted attention to the small den.
„Let‘s move on?“ Once everyone is ready he will move on, Efeu again scouting 20 ft ahead. (C3 &D3 next?)
Moving towards C3, you find your path blocked by a long large ravine. It stretches in the east/west direction. At the bottom of the ravine is a small water stream.
Stepping to the edge Serit looks east and west following the ravines path, "Well, that certainly makes things little harder. Do we look for a way across further down or up or try and scale down?"

"Perhaps we should not choose at random, we are more likely to find a crossing sooner if we travel with the flow of the stream than if we start walking towards its headwaters. In either direction though it could be a long distance."
Jardor eyes the ravine...trying to determine if there is a better way across.
A few questions:
Can we tell from the top of the ravine which way the water is flowing?
How wide is the ravine? According to this jump distance calculator Jardor has a running long jump of 20'. If we can clear the ravine with some rope maybe we could set up a makeshift bridge of some kind.
How far of a fall is it if the jump isn't successful? (also important).
Is there anything on this side of the ravine that could be used to make a bridge across? Maybe I can chop down a tree or something?
Here are some raw D20s for any skill checks that are needed for Jardor to know the answer to these questions IC. I am going to give you 4 since I asked 4 questions...on the off chance that you need one for each of them.
The ravine is somewhat wider then your standard jump. You could jump across with a suitably high athletics roll, but the less physically imposing members of the team would not be able to.
The ravine is around 20 feet deep, so 2d6 fall damage.
You are in a forest, so there's no shortage of trees. The question is how and how long you want to spend making a makeshift bridge. If you were to just try and walk across a freshly felled tree trunk, you would need to roll an acrobatics check.
"I might be able to make that jump...and I have enough rope. We could set up a pull line to get everyone across. I doubt Impisi would be too keen about it, but if we leave him on this side he will probably make his way back to the village.
Or, we fell a tree to make a bridge and then tie a safety rope on this side and then again on the other side once one of us makes it there. Wouldn't be the most secure journey across, but it would be doable.
I am just hesitant to waste our sunlight treking through unknown wilderness looking for a crossing to a ravine that might not exist. What do you think Gara, you are likely smarter than me what with your ability to make things like your friend there. Can we make this crossable here?"

Looking at Impisi and his own heavy shell before replying: „I think Impisi and i better use ropes to get down there, cross the river and then use ropes to get back up.You can secure us while we go down, try to jump over a narrow part of the ravine and help us to back up again. I can take your backpack to make the jump easier if you want. That would only leave Serit...“

You retrieve your handaxe without much trouble.
