Jardor sighs as he watches one scurry up the side of a tree. "Fine, be difficult. Impisi! Dinner's on the table, get'em!"
Moving forward, he draws his greatsword and takes a defensive stance, waiting for one of the enormous spiders to try his area.
Move to a clear area with greatsword in hand. Hold action for one of the spiders to be in melee range for me to attack (which will use my reaction for this turn.)
Attack Roll for when a spider is within melee range: Attack: 12 Damage: 14
(OOC: New dice roll format since I now crit on 19 and 20...I checked it in the rolling dice thread and am pretty sure it works...but if something breaks I will set up a new roll.)

If posible Gara will get within 20 of the spiders but still behind the two big boys. He will throw his spear with unknown power and precision at one of the spiders. No matter if hit or miss, he will pull back his arm and the spear will come back to him. Against the rays of sunlight that breaks through the treetop, you may be able to see a thin threat glistening, that conects the spear to Gara.
13 for 6 damage.
And just a moment later Efeu will come running up and position itself between Gara and the spiders, but within 5 ft of Gara.
The first spider looks at your mighty defence and screeches. The other spiders screech back. The spider them moves back a few feet towards the trunk of the tree.

"They seem pretty smart for a bunch of crawlies."
Taking one hand off his great sword, Jardor pulls a hand axe from his belt and hefts it at the closest of the large spiders to try to scare them the rest of the way off.

The spider on the tree recoils from the blow, but is not finished. The other three respond with and simultaneously dive at Jardor. Impisi gets a readied attack (Jardor can roll for it) on the first of the spiders.
Attack: 4 Damage: 6 (if Impisi oneshots a spider, this one gets ignored)
Attack: 12 Damage: 7
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
The final spider manages to sink its fangs past the chainmail. Jardor, roll CON Save.
Impisi takes a bite at one of the spiders as it springs on Jardor.
Attack: 7 Damage: 6
Jardor feels the sting of fangs and poison attempt to infiltrate his body.
Con Save: 21
Impisi then again attacks with vigor. (If the spider he attacked was not dropped he will attack that one again, otherwise this will go at the one that had the 23 on its attack roll).
Attack: 10 Damage: 9
If this drops the target then Impisi gets to go on a rampage, making an additional bite attack as a bonus action (Ignore spoiler if rampage not triggered):
Attack: 21 Damage: 13

With a loud "chomp", Impisi bites off the head of the spider diving on Jardor. The creature runs around like a headless chicken for a few seconds before expiring.
Impisi is not as successful with the second attack and misses. Maybe still chewing...
Jardor is tough, so he only takes half of the 7 damage from the poison, so 5 damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gara will throw his spear again
Attack: 25 Damage: 9
and take a few steps back, while Efeu will get next to Jardor and the remaining spiders. (Within 5 ft of Jardor and the spiders, idealy within 5ft of Impisi as well.)
Efeu is close to Impisi and Jardor, is it close enough to use his ability to distract the spider (disadvantage on the role)?
Reactions
Deflect Attack. The defender imposes disadvantage on the attack roll of one creature it can see that is within 5 feet of it, provided the attack roll is against a creature other than the defender.
Never mind, doesn‘t need to be close to Impisi, just the spider 😛.

With the help of Gara's strange new friend, Impisi manages to duck out of the way of the spider's lunge and counter attacks.
Attack:14Damage:8
(Serit then Gara have chance to take out these last two spiders before they act, assuming Impisi's target is still up, I haven't seen the rolls yet.)
(OOC2: I have gotten lost on the status of tree spider...when it attacked Gara did it end up back on the ground where Impisi could possibly get to it? If that AND If it is within half of his movement speed (25') AND if Impisi drops this spider he is attacking (a lot of IFs, I know) then he will use his bonus action to rampage over and bite that one too. If any of these IFs are not true then ignore the spoiler).
Rampage Attack:13Damage:9
All that for a pitiful Rampage attack that won't matter. Bad dog, no biscuits.

All the other spiders follow the movement of the lead one, and run up different trees in your vicinity.
Impisi can't get to them so holds next to Jardor and also readies an attack.
Serit, Gara are next.
(We don't have much range, they know our weakness!)
Serit turns and closes ranks with Jardor, almost back to back and readies his action.

The attack snaps a couple of the creature's legs like twigs and leaves a large crack in its shell, but it's still alive.

Another Impisi chomp, another headless spider running into rocks and trees for a few seconds.
Serit, then Gara to finish the last one.
Serit turns to the last spider and heaves the flail behind him and up, swinging with a windmill motion downward.
Flail Attack: 26 Damage: 10
