Gulin looks at the pack of skeletons as they scramble to the corners of the room. A wicked grin curls up within his mustache and beard.
He sets his hammer down, sparking arcane fire between both hands, before outstretching both his arms and releasing a torrent of fire from his fingertips.
Burning Hands (DEX DC 14): 14
Gulin pats some lingering ash from his hands and retrieves his warhammer.
I even forgot to put in the advantage above. Look at those beautiful rolls...
As a wall of fire emits from Gulin's fingertips, Gulin steps forward onto the recently re-deceased skeleton. Bones crunch from under his feet. The north end of the room, including the remaining cowering skeletons, is completely enveloped in flames. Moments later the flames subside. The skeletons, though charred, continue to remain huddled in the corner. Oddly you think you detect a few of their bones slightly begin to shake.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Angus seeing the huddle of shaking skeletons charges straight back in and attacks the skeleton north/straight up slashing with his sword expecting to shatter their charred bones.
Attack: 14 Damage: 8
Depending on the success of that attack he either repeats the attack on the same skeleton, or attacks the one to the right of him in a move that would be familiar to minecraft players attempting to fertilise plants.
Attack: 25 Damage: 7
In this flurry of blows he continues his attack (again on same one or different depending on the success of the previous) using his Ki.
Angus' sword connects with the skeleton. Angus is unable to drive the strike home with it's full force. The strike glances off the bones after shaving splinters off. The skeleton ducks under the monk's blow from his fist; however, the monk quickly follows it up with a kick that shatters the skeleton into a heap on the floor.
Caspia steps forward attacking with her blades. Both connect with the skeleton directly north of her. Oddly enough, her first blow from the short sword doesn't feel as effective as her second attack with the scimitar. The skeleton looks badly beaten, but it is still standing.
Caspia Aspergina Investigation Roll: 8
You know from having used these blades throughout your life that the effects of a strike and the damage they inflict upon an enemy should be similar. Something else must be at play here but you cannot fathom what is happening.
Zi rushes up to help Caspia and Angus with the Skeletons. She moves past Angus into the corner of the room and attacks the northern most skeleton, lunging with her longsword.
Zi Long Sword Attack: 23 Damage: 6
Similar to the experience of the others, the blow which appeared to be strong enough to fell the skeleton falls shorter than expected. Zi mutters to the group, "Something is going on here, that blow should have finished it!"
The skeletons, having been scorched by the flames, are now broken out of their trance and turn their swords upon the party.
Skeleton 1 Short Sword Attacking Zi: 15 Damage: 5
Skeleton 2 Short Sword Attacking Angus: 7 Damage: 5
Skeleton 3 Short Sword Attacking Caspia: 11 Damage: 4
Skeleton 4 Short Sword Attacking Gulin:12 Damage: 3
Zi and Angus both fail to react quick enough and are struck by the skeleton's attacks. Caspia and Gulin are both quick enough to dodge the blows. Curiously, the room begins to fill with an eerie blue light emitting from the entirety of the eastern wall.

Gulin quickly cracks down a hammer blow to the closest skeleton, glancing at the strange light. "These spindly bastards don't seem like their normal ilk! Something strange is afoot!"

Gulin Runehammer Arcana Check:
The entire wall is beginning to pulse with a blue light. You don't recognize the blue light itself; however, it strikes you as some sort of illusory light.

Caspia's blows flail widely with the skeleton easily dodging.
You are surprised to hear the sound of steel clattering on the ground. Looking over, Angus appears to be standing still staring off into the eye sockets of one of the skeletons. Zi shouts, "Snap out of it man before we get overrun!" She then lunges towards the skeleton immediately in front of her.
Attack: 21 Damage: 8
As Zi is attempting to land her blow the blue light which had been steadily glowing in the background flashes and is gone. Strangely enough the entire eastern wall of the room appears to have vanished. Where the wall was it appears the room has enlarged fifteen feet eastwards.
Present in the new section of the room is a skeletal figure with a tall dark hat. Across the floor in the new expanse of the rom is a clutter of broken glass and piled earthenware. Three small copper pots lie amid the debris. A bench runs down the east wall of what seems to be a laboratory. On the bench are jars of powders, plants, and liquids--strewn amongst several pieces of chemical apparati. There is a table against the south wall forming an L-shape with a bench. There appear to be multiple objects present on top of the bench, but in the heat of battle you are unable to make out their exact nature.
The skeletal figure is wearing a pointed hat and dressed in a robe embroidered with mystic symbols. Thin wisps of beard float from its bony jaw. It raises a finger, tracing arcane symbols in the air. In a hoarse voice, the figure speaks: "Secrets found and lost then found again. Your paltry minds cannot fathom!"
Zi--who is beginning to look panicked--shouts, "This place might really be haunted! I don't think this is the work of Sanbalet Gulin!"
Zi easily parries the blows with her shield, but Caspia is caught by the surprise of events as a shortsword digs deep into her shoulder. The skeleton that attacked Caspia moves slightly to the side, trying to block the path of Caspia and Gulin. You watch as the robed skeleton figure reaches over to two of the jars along the back wall, and throws them! The jars hurtle through the air towards Caspia.
Gulin shifts his position, moving closer to the skeletal alchemist while engaging the closest skeleton. He glances over at the table of alchemical supplies, a glint in his eyes, before taking a swing at the skeleton.
Move two squares east.

Angus snaps out of his trance-like state, and swings his sword at the nearest skeleton (I'm unsure whether Caspia will have killed the southern of the 2 near Angus, but if not start there) resuming his assault even angrier at the hits he has taken.
Attack: 14 Damage: 9
If any of the two skeletons near Angus aren't dead at this point, Angus will continue his savage assault with fists and kicks
Caspia and Angus each fell a skeleton standing in front of them with their first strikes as Gulin fumbles around with his warhammer. Sensing the dwarf needs help Angus steps over and cracks the final remaining skeletal soldier on the side of the head with a second blow from his fists. The impact doesn't seem as effective as Angus had anticipated, but the skeleton appears to be near death.
Zi shouts, "Great work you two, I think we are turning this undead tide!"
Zi Longsword Attack: 19 Damage: 10
With her longswor she dispatches the last remaining skeleton from the initial group, then runs over next to the alchemist. The skeletal alchemist shifts slightly south, grabbing two more vials off of a shelf. Despite having a cleric in his face he throws the vials towards Gulin. The dwarfs clumsily movements must have led the alchemist to believe that he may be an easier target.
The first bottle hits the dwarf dead center. Gulin feels the skin under his armor boil as the contents of the vial touch skin. Thankfully the second vial falls short harmlessly shattering on the ground.

Gulin charges at the skeleton, angry as the acid sears a hole in his dark blue traveler's cloak. "I just bought this damn thing three weeks ago, you bastard!"
The hammer crushes into the alchemist with a crunch as bone fragments are scattered across the room. Zi and Gulin's hair begins to stand on end as magical energy engulfs the alchemist. Gulin smirks to himself, for once the blow felt as if it worked as intended. The alchemist looks pretty hurt.
Caspia's Scimitar connects with the alchemist. The alchemist's robes are ragged with tears throughout them. This skeleton has likely seen better days, but he is still standing. Angus senses an opening for him to charge into the melee, but it might require some fancy footwork on top of one of the alchemists tables. This could potentially destroy some of the glass vials and contraptions.

Angus contemplates his magical footwork honed all those years ago on the decks of the boats in rolling seas. He thinks about how he missed his last couple of darts, but at least here he will probably get it back if he misses.
He draws a dart as he moves himself down to the edge of the alchemist's table to get the best possible shot. Angus takes careful aim and throws a dart at centre of mass of the alchemist trying to ensure he connects with this one.
