From the entrance to the room, Abraxas is not able to make out exactly what the pieces of wood represent. Nothing has happened within the room yet.
Room Description:
This room's walls are each 20 feet long, with a closed wooden door along the right wall.
There are two tall wooden tables in the center of the room, each with a large stone step leading up to it. The first has a large stone weight sitting atop it, while the other seems to have smaller pieces of wood scattered across the surface.
Harmony heard as nothing happened from what Simeon said before he mentioned that since they have both, it matters little what one they choose. "I'm sure with a group effort we could lift the stone. I'm more confident in my Strength than my Intellect, so I say Strength as well." she then said back, agreeing with Garu.

Abraxas will, if possible, help Simeon by also investigating: 27. He considers every puzzle and all the wood he's ever read about, paying attention to the table top and the location of the pieces on it.
When Simeon steps onto the slab, approaching the table topped with wooden pieces, a sudden rumbling and grinding of stone announces that the table with the large stone weight is retracting into the floor. After a moment, the floor seals with stone and it looks as if there was never even a table there.
The wooden pieces are a complex jigsaw puzzle, and the surface of the table is indented with a large outline. This test is no match for the wit and intelligence shared between Simeon and Abraxas; the pair have completed the edge of the puzzle within ten minutes, and place the last piece after another twenty. When all is said and done, the lines carved into the pieces spell out Claim Your Prize, and when the last piece is set the floor begins to rumble once more.
This table now retracts into the floor, but the stone slab that rises to seal this hole bears a large treasure chest atop it, made of wood and closed shut.
Harmony was really surprised as Simeon and Abraxas went to the Intellect side, only to see the other table retract into the floor like it was never there. Guess now they have to do the Intellect then. She waited and watched Simeon and Abraxas do their thing before watching that table retract and instead a treasure chest comes up, amazed. "You guys did it! You're both so smart! Open it!" Harmony cheered as she smiled, thankful that they have such smart guys like Simeon and Abraxas with them. She was curious as to what is inside that chest.

Abraxas stares at the chest. "Yes," he says. "Caution." He holds his hands behind his back and walks around it, investigating it for traps: 17. "It's okay to be wary of gifts from unknown parties."

The chest is unlocked, and Garu reveals its contents.
Three shortswords are within, laying atop five cloak clasps that Mro Jus Bur reaches in and grabs. Aside from these odd contents, there are a multitude of magical scrolls. They are not spell scrolls, judging by the fact that everyone can read them. (OOC: To learn their exact purpose, a short rest will be required focusing on each item. There appear to be two different collections of scrolls here, 10 of one and 28 of the other).
The Kitsune bodyguard flips the clasps over one by one. "Odd. These are the symbol of the Lyrikav militia," he comments.
Harmony nodded as she went over to look at what is in the chest. She looks them over, hearing Bur and confused. "Why would those be in a chest here of all places?" she had said back, wondering what all these scrolls are too.
Abraxas will gather up the scrolls, unless anyone else is interested. "Yes, who or what are the Lyrikav militia? why is it odd to see their clocks here?"
Simeon eyes one of the clasps for a short while before picking up one of the shortswords. "Possibly what we have discovered here might be of some significance and usefulness, especially as we delve deeper into Turmaether."
The wood elf motions toward the scrolls in Abraxas's hand and remarks, "I sense no urgency to our path thus far. Can we spend an hour to determine what these scrolls might contain?"
"What did I say?" Abraxas says. "Ah. Yes, clasps, not clocks. Are there enough for each of us to have one?" He opens a hand in front of Mro Jus Bur. "May I look at one?"
Abraxas will also find a surface for unrolling the scrolls. He doesn't mind using the floor if necessary and gestures everyone over to look at them one by one. He'll hold each one between his index finger and thumb gauging the quality of the paper and, if appropriate, squinting at the ink.
"They're the militia of Lyrikav, the city we just came from," Mro Jus Bur deadpans, handing the clasp in his hand to Abraxas.
"I believe what my close and personal friend is trying to say is that it is strange to find the garb of a city guard in a treasure chest hidden by a puzzle of intellect, no?"Mro Jus Bir adds.
The room is quiet, as nary a sound encroaches upon the hour that Abraxas spends looking over the scrolls. In that time, he is able to deduce the purpose of the first 9 scrolls. These are "scrolls of ogre summoning". They do not require attunement, and can be used by anyone. One can be activated by taking an action to focus on the scroll and reading the words that appear, which will cause a spectral ogre to appear by the reader's side. The summoned ogre will follow the reader's orders until it loses all of its hit points or 1 minute passes, whichever is sooner. Only one of these can be active at a time.
The other scrolls will require more time to identify.
OOC: Added shortsword to Garu and Simeon's inventories. Let me know what else is being taken.
Harmony had heard Bur and Bir, very surprised. That is really strange. She then heard Simeon, nodding as she watched Abraxas examine the scrolls for an hour. Orge summoning, why would they need to summon so many spectral orges? "Do we want to move on or figure out what the other scrolls do as well?" she then said to everyone.

Abraxas does not spot any danger about the chest. It looks rather mundane, and seems to be clear of any spring mechanisms or arcane traps.

(Assuming Abraxas communicates this to the rest of us) Garu looks over at Harmony. "Let's have a look"
Garu kneels next to the chest and opens it carefully.
