Survivor will wake from his nap feeling quite refreshed, standing up and looking around, "So, we're headed back to town, did we decide if we're bringing the child or not?"
"Leaving her seems to ask for problems. Even if they come at night mainly--theres no gurantee there. This is far away, at the inn we could get her some warm food, report the disappearence-if that does any good, and let her sleep somewhere safe-alarmed at least.. Though if the magistrate is problematic I'd hate to be accused of kidnapping."
While sitting with the notepad, Turning to the girl, "Do you remember the man who came to visit a while back asking about your missing family? We're working with him, we came to find him and the others. Did you want to come with us to town? Do you have any relatives?"
"Any of ye good at tracking?" Dain asks as the group is gathering. "Mayhaps see if ye can find any tracks coming or going from here... We no be seeing any sign of the guild lad or da little one's parents yet after all..."
(DM, Dain looked over the stables, the yard, and the house. Is there anything else around to investigate?)

The girl turns back to look at you while Vulgrom casts his spell we have cousins in Blenheim, but thats a really long way from here. But I do remember Mr. Johan! He was very nice and wanted to help find my brothdr and dad! He was looking for them out around the woodland but came back a little strange, like worried or something. That was a few days ago, and I havent seen him since then.

((Doesnt look like, not in the immediate area at least. Theres other homesteads and farmhouses in the distance but everything else around you is either just rows of potatoes or youve already checked it out.))
(Vulgrom learns that she isnt under the influence of any magic at this moment fter he is done casting Identify)
Manfred leans against the wall and pulls out his flute and begins to play it softly, a calming peaceful tune that seems to hold meaning for the bard. After he finishes the song, he will go outside and keep a lookout for the group while Ashtear finishes, seemingly uncomfortable in the child's presence.
(looking around for bit, there does appear to be someone a long, long ways off, you have no idea who, but theyre there, way off towards the wood line along the small stream and old bridge you all crossed to get here. They arent moving it looks like, just standing there, again they are a long ways away so its difficult to really discern anything about them just yet.)

After he finishes the song, he will go outside and keep a lookout for the group while Ashtear finishes, seemingly uncomfortable in the child's presence.
Albanus watches as Manfred leaves, curious. At the sound of, what to Albanus hears as a deeply mournful melody, he cocks his head slightly. Leaving the child with the others for the time being, he will join Manfred. “The child distresses you?” Albanus gestures at the child. “You know, I was about this young when my parents disappeared. She might be fine but just as easily she is a sitting target for those less...refined in judgement as us.” Knocking back some sweet wine Albanus locks eyes with Manfred, “Must be quite a story behind that one. A cavalcade of subtle minor chords underneath a false major. Hmm...”. He’ll look away, finishing his wine as his thoughts turn to visions of fire, a dragon’s grinning maw, and dark vengeance ahead.
Vulgrom gives the girl a gentle tap, "And we're done, lass! Barely anything, right?" To those around he clearly shakes to head to imply the girl is clear of any charms.
"Right!" Vulgrom chucks a log into the fire and stands in the middle of the room, "Let's see what we can do about this mess..!" The dwarf marches up and down with gloves off and sleeves rolled up. Cleaning up and much as he can, repairing as many damages with mending, before the other gather to get a move on.
Ashtear looks on enviously at the mending ability-having lost it for self protection early in her life, then picks herself up and helps clean up once she's done with the journal. (Unsure when that will be timeline wise. 1 hour total-but not sure if this is simulataneous or after)
Suvivor will look at the child as she finishes speaking, "The woodlands? Which woodlands, the ones here at the edge of your property?"
For some reason the girl doesnt seem to worried to be around you by the way survivor. She seems to be comfortable even as you speak with her. Yes sir! Just over the other side of the potato field. Mr. Johan was there a few days ago, but when he came back he looked worried and spoke to mother about something then left in a real big hurry to get back to town! Should i take you there? Its not far, and you can see all the old trees and the old cemetery too! Its just around the bend from where Mr. Johan was i think.

Manfred stands stock still as Albanus speaks, eyes trained on the figure at a distance. "That's the way it is with family, sorcerer. They either let you down or you let them down. Either way, it ends in tears. Or blood." He twirls his flute between his fingers. "I thought that it could be different, once. But its not. But hey, you turned out alright, I suppose. You're a decent sort apart from your vile taste in alcohol. If the girl survives, she'll be stronger for it."
As Albanus describes the song Manfred played, the bard looks at him in surprise, and a newfound respect. "Excellent ear, my friend.I'm glad at least one of this group appreciates the musical arts. It's adapted from an elven melody. The favorite song of I woman I knew. The most beautiful voice I've ever heard."
Anxious to change the subject and seeing the tiefling lost in his own thoughts, Manfred instead will point out the figure to Albanus. "What do you suppose that is? Could be a scarecrow, I suppose, but I don't remember seeing it on our way in."
"Does it seem like it knows you noticed? If not, we could perhaps lure it in, either it saw is go in-or it noticed the creature removal. Or well, it could be a neighbor I guess. Do we act on this, or do we wait and see?" Glancing at the child, trying to figure out the best method to ensure her safety. Survivor and she seem to get along well-but he may not be a great baby sitter--dangerous to leave her, dangerous to take her- but less so with us. "Either way, this place is dangerous and marked."
Survivor will cock his head at the girl as she talks, “Perhaps thats a good idea, a guide might help us. Brave girl... Why don’t you get your coat, and do you have any good boots? Albanus, why don’t you and Manfred help her find her coat.” The emphasis slight, but noticeable. And he will make one more sweep of the house, looking for the girl’s room and signs of her belongings.
(You’ve made me/Survivor suspicious, he’s not used to small children offering to take a giant into the woods where bad things may have come from.)
"Well, why don't we just go together," The dwarf repairs a broken chair leg before standing it straight, "I'm pretty sure we all agree letting one of us wander off with someone is bad idea. Ha!" He winks at Albanus before putting his gloves back on and finishing up with this room.

Yes sir ill try my best.. Me and my brothsr used to play games of tag that way..she says looking a but downtroden at the mentioning of her brother. She goes rushing off towards her room to find a jacket before returning to the party. If.youmguys wanna follow me ill show.ypu where Mr. Johan lwent to last!
Manfred enters the house, nodding to Survivor and finally addressing the girl. "Come now, child. I will help you tie your boots."
He takes his time tying them, singing a popular children's song as he does giving Survivor a few more minutes to finish his search, then he bounce back up and approach Ashtear. "I don't know if whatever is watching us is aware that we saw it. I think however, it wanted to be seen. There is plenty of space in which it could have hidden. We should tread very carefully if we are going any deeper into the woods." He whispers. "Maybe we take the horse so you can flee with the child." He looks at her again. "Or flee FROM her, if this is all some horrible trap." He adds, darkly.
Ashtear packs away the tools and the journal work into her bag, and motioning for extra clothing for the girl if we're taking her off the farm afterwards. "Well. Hey. Maybe we'll luck out-and perhaps Johan."

Keying in on the conversation between survivor and the girl...
"You say the guild lad went back ta town?" Dain asks, frowning at the girl. "Last we be hearing he came out here and never returned ta town..."
Albanus squints to see what Manfred is pointing out, and then he’ll quietly alert the others. “We May have a visitor here,” tapping the wall gently.
