Stilgar looks through the jar items and on further inspection decides to pocket a few of the items for personal use later.
Inspecting the well, he sees it comes about 4 feet off the ground and is made of stone and mortar. There is an old bucket sitting next to it and looking down into the well, he feels a light, lukewarm breeze rising from the opening. He can not currently see the bottom of the well.
stilgar takes an orb and sends it down the well trying to determine how deep it goes. if it appears safe , he will take his rope and climb to the bottom
Stilgar climbs to the bottom of the well and looks around but does not find much of anything. It seems that this well has dried up a long time ago which may be the reason this house had been abandoned. It is hard to live in an area when there is not a reliable way to receive water.
After a brief short rest the group awakens to the light of the sun barely piercing the fog outside. Opening the door to leave, they are immediately met with a chilling morning gift from the wind. Bunching their coats and cloaks, they step forth from the old house, moving towards the bog below.
The trek down the mountain was substantially easier than the ascent. The group quickly worked their way down the switch backs into the growth of trees below. The evergreens greeted them first as they returned to the wilderness. The ever so present fog and wind from the previous evening had all but vanished at this point, replaced with the sound of creeks and the rays of sun beaming through the trees. The group continued at a hastened pace and decided to break for lunch right before a wooden bridge over a wide creek. Whilst eating, the group shared stories and dreams of their previous night. Ash was sure to remind everyone how annoyed he was with Laurentia for awakening him with a large boom of thunder.
After lunch the group grabbed their packs and continued on, following the stream down, deeper and deeper into the bog below. Slowly the evergreens were being replaced with large oak trees, but this transition was brief. Before they knew it, large mossy growths were beginning to show themselves everywhere on the trees. The air began to feel heavier and heavier as the humidity slowly crept into their clothes. It was hot, sticky and quite uncomfortable, but unfortunately the worst was yet to come. While the environment had only been a minor annoyance, the bugs became a debatable threat. Stilgar had found the mosquito's constantly buzzing around him to be an act of war. After 30 minutes of this single mosquito's ear flybys, Stilgar had decided to rid this world of this arrogant runt. Unfortunately, the mosquito's agility had proven superior and Stilgar accidentally smacked Darrimus whilst taking a sip of water. Darrimus muttered a brief prayer to Tempus in order to calm himself from potentially taking a retaliatory swing. Despite the annoyances the group tread on to the thickest of the bog.
The dirt, mucky road finally lead to wooden bridges and passes that spread out over a swampy, dark water filled bog. A thick smell of rotten eggs also reminded them that they had truly reached their destination. They continued on the wooden boardwalks until they reached a wooden overhang with a sign dangling down reading "Welcome to Alberlow Glades". Looking out towards the town, all the building seemed to be mostly built on wooden supports, elevating them from the swampy waters below. Stone chimney extruded from a few of the buildings bellowing smoke into the thick mossy tree canopy above. Wooden boardwalks and bridges substitute for roads in this place.
Pulling out the note from Krusk, they were instructed to head towards the tavern named "The Swampy Sipper".
Laurentia locates a local and asks about the town and is able to find directions to the Swampy Sipper. Apparently there are only two taverns in town anyway. The second one being the Boggy Beer.
"This wasn't exactly what I had in mind when thinking about finding nearby civilization. The smell of this place is unbearable..." Ash nods in affirmation to Stilgar's suggestion. "We could use some more information about the area. Maybe there's a chance to make a bit of coin?"
"The smell of swamp remind me of home. mmmmm. I suppose we could visit the more appealing tavern before getting down to business. " She looks to Darimus, " If you would like to go ahead and get to business, I can accompany you."

stilgar pockets anything that may be of value before inspecting the well
Stilgar looks through the jar items and on further inspection decides to pocket a few of the items for personal use later.
Descending the orb, he fines that it goes quite deep. After about 50 feet, he finds the bottom. It is a dry patch of ground with no sign of water.
stilgar ties off his rope and makes his descent down the well
Stilgar climbs to the bottom of the well and looks around but does not find much of anything. It seems that this well has dried up a long time ago which may be the reason this house had been abandoned. It is hard to live in an area when there is not a reliable way to receive water.
“another dead end...”
Stilgar kicks a loose rock and sighs hard before scaling back up the well rejoining his party
The night is now over and the group is all awake.
Please let me know what your next course of action is.
"I feel as if part of my soul has returned to me. Please, let us leave this place and find the nearest town."
“Let’s head out. I’ll take point.”
Darrimus will lead the group on the route they were following.
"Yes, I am feeling much better. Let us leave this place before more trouble arrives."
stilgar, not quite feeling like himself, begrudgingly prepares for travel.
”yes...lets leave this cursed place...”
he turns and looks towards the sky, half expecting something terrible to meet his gaze...

Looking about for locals or a sign. Laurentia makes sure to take deem sniffs of the deep damp atmosphere. Wonderful.

Laurentia locates a local and asks about the town and is able to find directions to the Swampy Sipper. Apparently there are only two taverns in town anyway. The second one being the Boggy Beer.
stilgar perks up and grins at the mention of the swampy sipper. he turns to ash and winks
“ash! lets see if we cant find us some trouble to get into”
"This wasn't exactly what I had in mind when thinking about finding nearby civilization. The smell of this place is unbearable..."
Ash nods in affirmation to Stilgar's suggestion.
"We could use some more information about the area. Maybe there's a chance to make a bit of coin?"
“...take a bit of coin. I hear you loud and clear”
*wink* *wink*
stilgar twirls his finger and snaps summoning his mage hand
"The Boggy Beer sounds more enticing to myself, gentlemen and fair lady." Ash says, making his way to said tavern.
"The smell of swamp remind me of home. mmmmm. I suppose we could visit the more appealing tavern before getting down to business. " She looks to Darimus, " If you would like to go ahead and get to business, I can accompany you."
