Okay you can sell pickles for up to 5 days. For everyday you sell, you can roll either a persuasion check or an intimidation check. Based on the rolls, I will then determine how much gold you guys make. We are going to go about it this way to speed things up a bit.
The group reaches an agreement with Old man Picklesimer and depart to sell pickles for 5 days. After 5 days, they return with their pickles and the gold.

The group now has 3 days to return to the rendezvous point with Melcher and prepare for the assault on Odaigo. The group can decide to take the road on the way back or go through the mountain pass again.

The group heads on the road and makes to the meet up settlement about a day outside of Odaigo without any issues on the road. Although some events transpired, the group found their way there in three days ALIVE.

Laurntia giggles mischievously. " Oh come now, Ash could take at least 4 surely" She flashes her own gold pieces at Stilgar.
Darrimus scoffs and does not leave Fireside.
"Save your coin Stilgar... It would be incredibly bad tactics to have such a duel out here on the open road."
Darrimus points ahead.
"There could be a band of bandits just waiting for us around the next bend!"
Darrimus points behind them.
"There could be angry witches right on our heels!"
Darrimus makes a circle motion around him.
"Or there could be an Owlbear anywhere around us waiting to pounce!"
Darrimus looks ahead the road.
"No... We must be vigilant and continue on. We can duel once we get to town if you wish to train together."
stilgar looks up the road...then behind them. he looks all around as far as the eye can see and frowns.
”apologies Darrimus, the circumstances had alluded my awareness...”
stilgar twirls his finger and snaps as a tiny pink chicken suddenly poofs into existence!

Darrimus hides back a chuckle.
