It is noon when you set out, the road is clear, and the weather is perfect, the carriage (actually a covered wagon) has a lot more room without the coffin inside it. Princess Reese, still in the traveler's clothes, is sitting next to Snollic, you two feel very close to each other.
Balthazar, when you open your bag, you find five more newt eyes, meaning you can cast hex again.
(okay so how does the goverment work, the king/queen is the head of state right? Who is running the country while the princess soon to be queen is out on adventures, are there like advisors or whatnot? Is there even a plan?)
also as the travel goes on, snilloc tries to get the princess a bit better

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
(also cherry, according to rules as written in the players handbook, snilloc's use of the rally manuver like yesterday should still be in effect and kront'al should still have 10 temporary hit point from that brief pep talk i gave hím when we were fightin the tiger, however i'd like your thoughts here since clearly this is in some way unintended behavior)

Balthazar is staggered by the orc's blow but still able to act. He will return the attack using a little patron strength
ACTION: cast booming blade and attack the nearest orc - Attack: 14 Damage: 6
SIDE EFFECT: If the attack hits and the org move before the start of Balthazar's next turn he takes an extra 8 of thunder damage
(OOC: Exactly how much damage to Balthazar take? The first attack was a crit and I don't think you doubled the die, so at least 14 (13 + 1) and maybe more? )

Balthazar shouts to the others. "I think we have company!" He jumps out to protect the carriage and the princess (not necessarily in that order ;-) )
