Kevin DASHES out the open door.

Kevin: You dash out the door to catch up to the Kenku.

OOC: I thought Kevin was just running out the door. I didn't think he was going to run up to the bird.

OOC: I can back him up if I put him out too far.

OOC: I didn't realize Kevin was going to run that far either, but I didn't specify. I'd like Kevin to be near the door, but not in the doorway.

Dewey: (OOC: It was #3) You bound over to the almost dead Kenku you stabbed and take a poke at him. Unfortunately, his frantic movements cause you to miss.

Randy, you're up.

Randy dashes to bird number 2's side. When there he uses his mind speaking ability to try to persuade the bird to surrender,

"Birdman, stop where you are and answer our questions and I promise I will not kill you. Continue to run and I promise that I will find you and make sure you die a slow and agonizing death!!!"

Randy: You dash to the Kenku's side and speak into its mind.

Randy: The Kenku freezes for a second, but its panic is too much. In its mind you hear it scream in fear, and it tries to run.

As the bird ignores Randy and continues to flee, Randy see an opportunity to attack. Reaching within his robe he draws a dagger and stabs at the giant chicken running from him.

Randy: You slash into the Kenku's back, but it's not enough to stop it. It continues to run to the gate and tries to get past Dewey and the other Kenku.

Dewey laughs as the other kenku flees.  He flourishes his rapier and stabs out towards the bird's neck... 7
