At the edge of the town, you arrive at a poorly maintained trail leading North, through the dense forest. (Whoever is in charge of keeping the group on the trail, I need five survival checks, for five hours.) Birds call, and the party hears the occasional feline roar.

"I will be calling forth my familiar now." Leshanna warns the group. "Do not shoot him." She then summons forth her owl familiar, sending it out to scout the area around them.

Raishan will step up and lend his survival skills from his travel to the group and will lead them in the direction they need to go, thankful of the help from Leshanna, Aeson and of course Surnia being his eyes in the sky.

By the fourth hour, the group has lost the trail and now wander aimlessly through the forest. (The party can spend two hours and a survival roll looking for the path. Or roll survival to try to figure which way is North, and head in that general direction.)
"Don't worry there, we'll pick it right back up, you seem like an extraordinary tracker -- you will make a fine addition to my court one day when I am king."

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
After two hours of searching, the party comes across the path, by luck, skill, or by some divine hand. But it appears something else has found the path. A herd of mountain goats grazes on this part of the trail. Most of the birds have gone to sleep, except the infamous nightingale, which continues it's mournful tune, along with the crickets that are starting to chirp. The sun sets, leaving only a few pink smears across the sky in its wake. Darkness settles upon the forest, along with a nightly chill. A dense fog rolls in reducing visibility to only a few feet. The band gets the feeling that this forest is very deadly at night.
"Seems like this is where we should be setting up a camp." Leshanna observes. "Should we seek out a suitable place, or just do so here?" She looks to their tracker for this information. The owl flies overhead, seeking out a clearing or such that would make a good camp as well.

With the help of Surnia looking around for a suitable camp. "We can camp here on the road but I would prefer to find a clearing better defensible off the trail, so we are hopefully not bothered in the middle of the night by creatures who might be using this trail."

“Yes, maybe a hole or a cave. Something with sturdy stone wall behind us to put our back to. Anyone up for some goat tonight?” Horark says as his tongue comes out licking his lips.
If no one stops Horark:
Using the dense fog to his advantage to sneak up on the goats, The large hat disappears into the fog and sneaks closer.
Stealth: 23
Once within range Horark will jump through the dark fog from his hiding spot and attempt to take down a goat rodeo style.
The owl spotted an old crumbling village, that was probably abandoned decades ago, an hours walk away. (Roll survival to see if the group can find their way to the village in the dark.)
"If we are to proceed in the dark, then let the Light guide us." Aeson gathers some sticks and branches and casts Light on them and then hands them out.
"Thank you, but I do not need your light." Leshanna says, falling back on her innate ability to see in darkness. "There appears to be an old ruins a bit off that way." She informs the group, indicating the direction her owl showed her. She helps navigate, using the owl's sight from above often, again giving the help action to their tracker to get them there.
As Aeson is preparing the lighted branches, he sees a figure advancing through the fog. He holds up one of the lighted branches and is able to make out the figure of Horark returning to the group with a goat on his shoulders. Aeson says to him "I hope you are planning to cook this."
The group arrives at the ruined village, an eerie and haunted place. There is not an undamaged building in sight, only the town temple appears safe. Amongst the crumbling buildings lie several skeletons, that look about thirty years old, most have rusty daggers sticking out of them. The group's progress awakens several more goats (OCC)(Don't get any more ideas Horak lol) from their hiding place, all of which swiftly move further into the fog. Strangely, no birds can be heard in the village, and Surnia appears nervous.
