Thoroughly surrounded, outnumbered, and severely injured, Kenku 1 looks over at his remaining compatriot and chirps something unintelligible. At almost the same time they drop their sword to the ground, and hold their hands out in from of them. Kenku 1 turns his head a little to the side and lets out a small series of clicks and whines. It looks terrified as it slowly backs away from you in a non threatening manor.
Ondrea is going to walk up to one of the crates, halberd still in hand pointed at the kenku, and start rifling through it to see what's in there.

This Zhentarim warehouse seems like a recruitment center, the crates and boxes on the main floor are mostly packed with weapons, rations, black uniforms and other assorted equipment that it's members would need. Ondrea, you do hear some noise from a back storage closet underneath the stairs that leads to the mezzanine level.

"I'm sorry Crag, I can't mend any more wounds until I have some time to rest." I will start quickly looking over the bodies to see if any can still be saved, casting my Spare the Dying cantrip on any that may not be too far gone.
Aida, other than the two recently attacked Kenku, everyone else in the building is much to far gone. Spare the dying is cast upon the two kenku. As you look over the ten bodies along the wall they all seem to have the same sort of slashing ans piercing wounds on their bodies. Their swords and daggers are laid out beside them. Due to a few of the winged snake tattoo's you surmise that these are members of the Zhentarim.
"Well, looks like they are Zhentarim, or were Zhentarim I guess. The bodies from before us I mean. They are too far gone to save, but these two *I motion to the 2 unconscious Kenku* I've spared. Someone help me bind them before they wake up." I'll pull a length of rope from my bag and begin to tie the hands and feet of one Kenku, then make sure any weapons are taken out of reach.
"Justin, do you want to accompany Ondrea and investigate. I am going to attempt to converse with our fine, feathered bretheren over here."
Alec will turn and make his way, non-threateningly, with his hands slightly raised to indicate their is no ill will, towards one of the conscious Kenku.
"We mean no harm, and are in no way colluding with the Zhentarim. Do you speak common, friend?"
Crag will help Aida tie up the unconscious Kenku. Once finished, he will move enough to Alec to offer backup in the event of any funny business, but not so close as to interfere with his discussion.
"Justin, do you want to accompany Ondrea and investigate. I am going to attempt to converse with our fine, feathered bretheren over here."
Alec will turn and make his way, non-threateningly, with his hands slightly raised to indicate their is no ill will, towards one of the conscious Kenku.
"We mean no harm, and are in no way colluding with the Zhentarim. Do you speak common, friend?"
Alec, the two Kenku take a slight step back at your approach. One carefully watching their companions being bound. The other tilts it's head curiously at you. When it opens it's beak you are surprised to hear your own voice repeated back at you. "Common," And then in a totally separate voice it says, "No".
It's head shifts back and forth between you, your companions, and its incapacitated party. When it's eye's meet yours again you can see the fear in it's eyes. "Xanthar sends it's regards." He says in a deep voice with an Orcish accent

Alec will speak over his shoulder back to the group while maintaining eyes on the Kenku, "Looks like we stumbled upon a bit more of this turf war we have been hearing so much about. I have an inkling feeling that these two might try and make a run for it"
Alec furrows his brow and you see his fist begin to frost up with icy energy (readies ray of frost if they attempt to run: Attack: 16 Damage: 8 )
You approach the storage closet quietly. When you get closer, the door is open hanging on its hinges. The closer you get the more intense the smell of sour fish and vinegar becomes. There are smashed barrels, discarded ropes, and old tarps. You can both hear ragged breathing from the back corner of the 5'x10' room, under the back of one of the tarps.

As the frost coalesces on your fist, the two Kenku look nervously at each other, and then back to you. In a thin nasally voice the one who spoke before says "Tie up the pretty one in the back room." pauses for a second, swallows and says "Follow the yellow signs in the sewers."
The other Kenku adds right after in a scratchy voice, "No time to loot the place, just get him to the boss."

Justin you steady your weapon at the noise coming from under the tarp and give Ondrea the nod. Ready for whatever horror lies beneath.
Ondrea, you make your way across the small room, trying to pick your way through the mess of broken crates and rope. You reach down to pull away the tarp and reveal its secrets, but alas a coil of rope has wound its way around your foot, causing you to slip and fall. On your way down you manage to pull the tarp to the side and uncover...
A well dressed, but fairly disheveled human man, middle aged, with flowing golden red hair. "Uhh greetings and well met strangers... Hopefully rescuers?"The young man investigates as he slowly stands up and takes in the scene around him.
