I will cast light on the front of my shield and take a position near the front of the group, looking for and following the yellow symbols once everyone is ready to go.
With Ondrea and Aida taking the lead you start pushing through the sewers, following the marking on the tunnel wall you make your way forward about one hundred yards before you come to another hub. Quickly looking around you see another of the symbols over another tunnel and make your way that way, deeper into Waterdeep's underbelly.
After an hour of following signs through the tunnels, you come to a three-way intersection where a ladder leads up into a stone shaft capped by a circular metal cover. One of the familiar chalk symbols is marked on a wall nearby, and floating near the symbol is a spherical, grapefruit-sized creature with a bulging central eye and four stumpy eyestalks. It bares its teeth at you.
Justin pushes past everyone draws his gun and fires at the one eyed monster. The sound of the blast echos down the tunnel, and a garish wound opens up on the side of the beast, bits of torn flesh and blood splatter on the wall behind it.

As the manifested ray of concentrated cold smashes into the gazer, quickly followed by a devastating spear thrust from Ondrea, Aida you rush up and slam the creature as it is on its way to the ground.It lays there a bloody mess from your onslaught.
After collection yourselves from this brief encounter, you push on, following the symbols etched into the sewer walls. After approximately five min the main sewer tunnel expands into a circular hub with a pair of arrow slits carved into its outer walls, directly across from each other. Two passages continue on to the north and south. A stone door is set into the back wall of a stone ledge to the west.

The shadows around Crag elongate and reach out and settle around the party. Your footfalls are much softer, and the shadows obscure you in the tunnels.
Crag you lean into the door, pressing your ear against it's slightly damp surface. There is no sound coming from the other side.

Alec has the light cantrip and would prefer to not be the trail blazer in the group so he would be positioned somewhere in the middle.
