"I think it's pretty clear what happened here cap'n. These men were torturing this poor soul here." Harq says, adding "and they seemed to be enjoying it. Can't see that being allowed here.
Helena's entire body is shaking as she whips her head to face towards those who have arrived. Anyone can tell tht she is absolutely fuming with anger. "Tell me, captain. Is it common place for your crew to gang up and torture others for their own amusement? That this is so ******* common that you even have rules and regulations on how they are allowed to do so?"
Brodan simply stays silent as he waits to hear just what the pirates have to say, readying himself for a fight if the ones that have their swords drawn come any closer.
"Bes fun stopping of cowards," Kronk says. "Cowards only with helpless play. Cowards only death deserve!" He seems pretty mad when he says this, but 'contained' as it were; undeniably en garde though.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Lia Brynn stays silent, unmoving. You can see her clench her teeth.
You are all 10ft away from the tortured man and the pole he is tied to, and the crew has surrounded you in a circle. They are all 20ft away from the pole. From the circle, Mulke steps forward, followed by 4 other pirates.
”I’m the one makin’ the rules for the men. They’re bloodthirsty bastards alright, but my rules are the only thing keepin’ them from killin’ you, Brynn. I’m the one keeping them strong and manly while you do your damned hardest to make them a bunch of softies. They’re the pirate crew of the Sea Lady, not the Sea *****. They won’t be as long as I’m here. But you bein’ capt’n makes things difficult. You and your girlness need to go.”
Mulke slowly nods his head and draws his blade. Suddenly, some of the pirates begin stabbing and killing their shipmates, who are unable to react quickly for the most part. A few are able to kill their assailants. As the bodies drop, you can clearly see that, aside from Brynn and Mulke, there’s a total of 10 pirates left. Only two pirates move to Brynn’s side of the brig, while the rest stand behind Mulke.
Helena's eyes, once filled with rage, now stares at Mulke in complete and utter disbelief. She grits her teeth in annoyance before taking out her daggers, ready for a fight.
This occurred to me after most of you already rolled initiative, but from now on, I will roll for everyone at the beginning of a battle so that you may post an action as soon as you check. I will roll for Harq and Kronk now.
Harq: 17 Kronk: 13
Initiative Order 21. Mutineers (8 remaining) 20. Helena 17. Mulke 17. Harq 16. Loyalists (2 remaining) 15. Skarhys 13. Kronk 12. Lia 10. Brodan 6. Brynn
The last bodies drop, and the circle of pirates surrounding the party has diminished to a group of only 10. Two of the pirates stand by Brynn, while the other eight stand behind Mulke, ready to fight. Mulke grips his sword tightly. His face gives no emotion as he says with a deep voice (almost deeper than Kronk’s), “Harq! You stopped me from bein’ the captain of the Caladan and Leto paid the price for you! One of the men blew it up even though I warn’d him not to and I kill’d em with my bare hands for it, but Leto didn’t believe me! You can repay your debt right here and now. You can fight with me to help me take the Sea Lady, or you can die. I’ll be satisfied either way! Make your decision.” He looks to the pirates standing with him, and with a nod of his head, the mutineers charge forward directly toward you all.
((Using Mob Rules because there is no way I’m rolling for 8 enemies every time))
The mutineers split into groups of two as they charge. Two pairs attack Brynn together, while Helena and Skarhys are hit by the other pairs.
4 pirates vs Brynn: 5 + 6
2 pirates vs Helena: 3
2 pirates vs Skarhys: 7
The group of mutineers surrounding Brynn attack, dealing a total of 11 damage. Their scimitars slash her sides, not doing nearly enough to kill her.
Helena attempts to avoid attacks from the mutineers next to her, but is caught fending off when the other strikes her back, dealing 3 slashing damage.
Skarhys takes a hit as well, unable to avoid attacks from both of the mutineers around him. He receives 7 damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Helena You push back the mutineers around you and run to Mulke, swiftly avoiding obstacles and other enemies in your path. You charge forward and look to stab Mulke in the gut, but he moves at the last second, taking the hit to his shoulder instead. He receives 31 damage.
Mulke With Helena so close, Mulke reaches out to grab her.
Helena must pass a DC11 athletics or acrobatics check or be grappled by Mulke.
"I think it's pretty clear what happened here cap'n. These men were torturing this poor soul here." Harq says, adding "and they seemed to be enjoying it. Can't see that being allowed here.

Harq, do you want to take a look at the bloody faced, tortured man?
"They said he had the rules." Lia says as she steps forward. She turns to the captain. "Who is the he that would have set up such rules?"

Okay this is ridiculous: 1st Attk 28 dmg 12 crit dmg 6
2nd attk 17 dmg 9

Wdym by crit damage?
I think you should let the site’s dice roll do the work, it’s a bit confusing this way
Helena rushes straight towards Mulke, swiftly weaving through everyone else, and striking out at him
Bonus Action: Disengage
Movement: Max 30ft towards Mulke
Assassinate Feature - Advantage against any creature that hasn't taken a turn in combat yet.
Action: Dagger Attack - 20 Damage - 8 Sneak Attack - 10
(Not sure how you do crits, whether its double damage or double dice. If its double dice, I'll roll here to avoid the rerolling bug)
Crit Dagger Damage - 1
Crit Sneak Attack Damage - 8
Kronk’s first attack was a natural 20 so I tried to add a second dmg roll; that’s when things ran off the rails.

Lia casts Hex on Mulke (bonus action).
She then shoots him twice with her heavy crossbow...
Attack: 25 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Neither attack was a crit, so just rolling damage here as usual, will have to see what happened with the above.
Attack 1 damage: 6 and 6 necrotic
Attack 2 damage: 11 and 2 necrotic

While you roll that, it is Harq’s turn.
