Before the gnome leaves, he briefly explains what the coins do.
Essentially, they are enchanted to be linked to one another. High-Hill made them so that one would be attuned to each of you, and only you can use them. When you have these coins in your possession, you can send one thought to the users of the linked coins (if they possess them). It is basically limited telepathy.
They have 5 “free” charges that reset at the start of every day. If you go over the 5-charge limit, you suffer 1 level of exhaustion for every extra use.
They have been added to your inventory and attuned to you.
Zadoris leaves his belongings below deck and continues to watch out for his team. While appearing to be lazy and resting against a rail or mast, he actually committing the ship to memory.
When the coins are delivered he asks, "would the magic be disrupted if I punched a whole in it for a necklace?... actually never mind I'll figure out something."
Eira settles in fairly quickly as she doesn't have much on her. When the gnome comes in with the coin, she takes it excitedly. "Wow... what is it for? Is it to let people know we're a part of the guild? Is it some sort of secret currency that only guild members can used?!"
When Cora removes the residual smell of rotten fish, Zargaroth responds with a reliefed sigh.
"Thank you, that was....pleasant. You should teach me this Trick some time, this might not be the last time something like this happened. Mara is....well she is special."
He snapps his fingers and summons Mara. And starts to ruffle her head.
When the gnome hands over the coins, Zargaroth nods in appriciation but he only hesitantly bonds to it, not liking the idea of somebody or something Messing with his thoughts.
(Oh shit. There was so many messages to the thread that I didn't realise there was another page and responded to the last message of the previous page, if that makes sense. My bad.)
((Everyone should have a coin they are attuned to in their character sheets now.))
Rhond’s ship, The Perso, sets sail, floating out of the harbor and moving towards a desert land in the distance, on the other side of the sea. The voyage will take a few hours. Is there anything you would like to do during this?
Cora While you get settled in the cabin, a member of the ship’s crew calls for you. “Captain Rhond is asking for you at the helm!”
Eira would enjoy the journey, mainly just looking out at sea, as it's her first time on a ship. She would also try to make conversation with a few of the crew members, asking them about their experiences, or rather stories, on the sea as well as trying to learn the inner workings of a ship.
Cora Rhond smiles as you approach him. He takes a step back from the wheel and makes an inviting gesture. “Would you like to learn how to steer a ship?”
Cora's eyes go wide with excitement. "That'd be awesome!"
She steps up to the wheel and attempts to steer. Nothing too extreme, just a gentle curve or two to get used to it. She looks up to the charismatic captain, taking in his every word of advice.
Eira During breaks, some of the crew members showed you around and explained how things work on the ship. A few shared stories about how they got into sailing with the Perso.
Ethan In the hours that pass by while you’re on the ship, you watch the waters and observe some of the animals out there. Among them are flying fish (real scientific kind, not magical) and dolphins, and you see some birds fly by and pluck fish out of the waters.
Cora Rhond helps you learn how to steer, but the wheel is heavy. Roll for strength to see if you can keep control of it while in it is in your hands. You have advantage because Rhond is helping.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
During this journey, Zadoris will make his way about the crew trying to find out what information he can about their destination. Specifically, local threats to avoid and customs to help them blend in.
Zadoris You talk to the sailors to gather information about the village you’re headed to. You learn that it is on the coast of the Orclands, which you know to be dangerous. However, Amesto is so small that the orcs don’t bother raiding it. It should be a safe place.

"Thank you for the coins and for coming out here!" Cora says cheerfully as the gnome takes his leave.
(Question: Does each message get sent to every other person with a coin or do we have to send it to each person individually?)
((Each message is sent to everyone simultaneously))
"Could be quite useful..." Ethan says as he pockets the coin.

Cora STR with advantage: 5
Ah crap.
(Edit: At pc, able to look at both rolls. We avoided a nat 1, so there's that.)
