Brak appears surprised that you all are so calm while he’s just yelling in your face. With a somewhat mocking tone, he says, “Matches all outfits.” He looks back at Malyra. “Give.”’
Malyra reaches for the headband and slowly lifts it off. The moment it is fully off her head, you all see her change. Her blonde hair starts turning white starting at her scalp, her skin becomes much paler, and her ears (which you couldn’t see before) are now long and pointy. “I’m sorry.”
Cora looks toward the Orc once more. ”So did she say she’d give it to you? Was there a bet? Or do you just want one? They’re magic, so they aren’t too easy to find, but I could probably make one for you if I had the formula to make it.”
Even as she offers this kind gesture, she sweats a little and her face turns a bit redder in anger - how dare he embarrass Lady Malyra?
The halfling looks among the group. It normally takes twenty days to make such an item. With everyone working together, they could do it in four.
Ethan shrugs at the change to the Lady. He glances to the Orc. "And what makes it yours?" He asks with a raised eyebrow. "Please explain why she should be handing it over?"
“I took it from him to keep myself safe. I never thought I’d run into him again.” Malyra gives up the hairband, completing her transformation as she hands it to the orc. When it is in Brak’s hands, it transforms into a hat. Brak snarls at the bartender again. “One big bottle and I leave.” The short man, without hesitation, puts a full bottle for the orc to take. Brak just grabs it and walks out, causing a couple of screams outside.
Malyra looks at all of you, really embarrassed now. “I apologize for the deception, but I did not believe you would help me otherwise. I am Malyra Siannodel, and most of what I have told you is the truth. I am the rightful heir to a castle called Escheron...but it is not on this plane.”
Cora looks down, then toward Malyra, anger replaced with a tear or two.
”It’s... it’s alright. You’re still really nice and kind! You’ve treated us well. That castle of yours still belongs to you; we’re gonna help you get it back! Plus planar travel sounds fun! What plane is it on?”
She thinks for a moment, then adds: “I can make you a new headband if you want one - it’d take maybe 4 days if everyone pitches in.”

Your Intelligence (Arcana) check measures your ability to recall lore about spells, magic items, eldritch symbols, magical traditions, the planes of existence, and the inhabitants of those planes.
You remember the guildmaster had briefly taught you about the different planes. You know that the Feywild is one of chaos and a bit of mischief. He had explained what he knew about eladrin and how they were to elves as elves were to humans. You struggle a little, but can’t remember much more than that.
"Again, your origins are not my concern." Ethan says with a look around. "You have come to us to aid you, and that is what I intend to do. Regardless if it is here on this plane or on another."
"Hm. I remember the Feywild - it's a plane of chaos and mischievous creatures... and ummm... fey. Definitely fey in the feywild. I don't remember much about eladrin - they're like elves but more fey-like?" Cora replies to Malyra.
Zargaroth raised an eye brow in suprise when Malyra reveals her true appeareance.
"An elve, now that's a surprise... Well, as far as I am concerened, you did not even lie to us, you just hid some facts that were subsidiary to our plans. I'm fine with that. I suppose there is a door way to the Feywild somewhere in the Sedan mountains then?"
Then he turns to Cora,
"Do you really know how to make such a device? If so, maybe we should get more than one of them, they could come in handy when we want to infiltrate the castle."
Zargaroth will also summon Mara and send her to inconspiciously follow and keep an eye on the orc to find out why and were to he was leaving so suddenly. Zargaroth tell her to Report Beck when she lost him, when he leaves town or starts to get into a longer conversation with somebody.
Perception roll if you want one: 20
Stealth roll if required 14 ( she is supposed to keep some distance to the orc though)
Zadoris holds up his hand to stop and speak with Brak the orc but he just barrels past. For half a second he was about follow after and issue a challenge but notice the group Brak was running from. His companions. Shrugging, he moved up to the others. "I got lost the path, then found it again. Nothing interesting to report beyond an aggressive orc in the area but I think that was him," he says. His eyes then move up to Malyra. He doesn't recognize the face but does the clothing and simply gives a short yet curtious nod.
Zargaroth Mara flaps her wings in anticipation and when you open the door, she flies right out to track Brak. The results for your rolls will come later.
Zadoris has now rejoined the party, so feel free to play things out. What do you guys want to do (without losing Zadoris this time)?
"Well, let's have a look at that map then." Ethan says, still waiting on the Lady's answer to the question of the entrance to the plane her castle is on.
Malyra brings out the map again and sets it on the table so the entire party can see it. “Captain Rhond told me he was heading south to a town called Tarnos, so he will not be helping us any more.” She points at the desert land above the town you are all in now. “It seems we will have to trek though these sands. We can probably make camp a couple of times before we get out of the desert. Does anyone have a better idea?”
Cora pipes up: "We could find a powerful wizard to plane shift us right to the castle! Ooh, waitaminute! Master High-Hill is a powerful wizard! We could ask him!
Malyra shakes her head. “Mister High-Hill said that there was an inactive portal somewhere in the mountains, so if we go the long way, we will have to go through the desert and through this forest.” She traces a path on the map with her finger. “I doubt he could plane shift us directly to the castle. I have not been there in years, and frankly, I don’t know if the portal will take us right to the castle.”

She does some quick math in her head. "...twenty-four days and three-thousand gold."
