Abigail nods slightly to the captain while tapping her foot impatiently, "I hate fancy parties, everyone is so stuck up. You look around the room, and nothing but people so self-important that they cannot see anyone else except themselves and those that can aid in elevating their status. These people rarely look after the little people... I just hope they have an open bar."

Abigail heads off the ship in the direction of the shopping area, trailing behind Tarak a bit. While walking she is going to attempt to spot those watching them with any particular interest.
While Tarak is busy talking you keep a more active eye out on the horizon. A plain clothes female Minotaur is definitely keeping a eye on you all and doing a rather fine job of tailing... outside just getting spotted. What her intentions, or if she poses any particular risk, is difficult to ascertain without letting her know you're on to her.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tarak agrees to the hour turn around time. Once fitted he goes to have a bath. He does a quick loop of the stores near the house and just looks around looking for quick exits from the house, guards, etc.
perception 10
Then once done he returns to the ship and gets ready for the night and he carefully stows his armor and weapons in his chest and finally presents himself to Rollo as ready.
Tarak you stand at the tailors. Getting poked, prodded, and measured. He does make you take off your armor in effort to get proper measurements around the torso and legs. Overall its several pieces; pants, vest, shirt, jacket, etc.
Abigail, you attempt to slip away into the crowd to tail the minotaur following you. The attempt doesn't seem to go very well... the person watching you maintaining some distance. They seem to be leaving Tarak alone with the tailor, and simply following you through the crowd. Attempting to find different angles, staying out of the way. While they aren't necessarily the most... stealthy on their own... their keen eye keeps you in a game of cat and mouse for a little while. They don't seem to be breaking away to report anything, simply trying to keep a eye on you.
The Second Hour....
Tarak, finishing up you're able to take a quick glance at where the social gathering will be. However, you're not able to draw any details out. Gate. House. Hallways connected to smaller houses. Shrubs inside the gate. Continuing on, you begin to head to the baths.
Noticing that she is not losing her tail... the other tail, obviously... Abigail attempts to once again shake things up by dodging into the tavern and ordering a drink.
Keeping an eye on the door, Abigail quickly sips her order. "Think, think, think..." she puzzles to herself.
"She may try to come in, what then... Confront her. No, she is a local, I am the outside here. Buy her a drink. At this point we both know we have been made, might as well have a drink and acknowledge we stuck with each other - I wonder if I still have some of that puffer-fish poison from years back? No, probably not." Abigail looks around the room.
"What if she does not come into the pub? Maybe the brute is just watching the door from the outside, like I am watching it from the inside. I have to leave some time... Or, maybe, their is a watcher already inside the pub house."
Abigail makes a much closer study of the room, trying to pick out anyone paying her notice ( Perception: 17 )
Assuming she does not see anyone else, and assuming that the minotaur does not come through the door:
Abigail sets down her drink. Then calls the bar keeper over, "Could I get another? Also, do you mind if I take it to the roof. I want to enjoy it with a bit of a view."
If necessary - Persuasion: 23 or Abigail will cough up some coin to use the roof to attempt another chance of stealthing past her tail.

Lafetha purchases 3 Healing Potion (Basic) - 65 gold= 195g from the merchants that are at the market stalls. Then she will go and purchase a set of Finely made clothing (custom fitted) - 50 gold from Olan Lord= 245g.
Hour 1: You're able to get the healing potions, and spend some time with Olan Lord getting measured - similar to Tarak. Hour 2: Abiigail heads off, while Tarak takes a walk. Both of you heading over to the house, then back to the boat....
Tarak
Hour 2: Still heading to the boat with Lafetha, but Abigail has wandered off elsewhere
Abigail: (In hour 2)
The bartender hands you another simple ale and motions that you're more than welcome to go upstairs. Once up, you get a good view of the city itself. A few sections of the large roof have some straw cots and make shift tents. It seems that most of the roof can be used as a inn; people able to just set up and get some rest. One of the people who's sitting with a few others is a person you mildly recognize. Leon "The Barnacle." A Noctis man who developed a rather odd disease; small whitish scabby patches along his face and arms. Him being a Leviathan hunter, of course he got the nickname "The Barnacle" from it.
Still - no time for that. Your eyes scan behind you. You're not being followed. You glance over the edge; the minotaur looking inside the tavern... then coming back out. Then around, before tossing her hands up and down in frustration. The minotaur vanishes back into the tavern, heading upstairs, and seeming trying to look around. This time around, you're able to lose her rather easily. Hearing her mutter before heading back downstairs and out. Again, you creep to the side of the large building.
The minotaur heads over, closer to the house. Eventually stopping to meet and talk with a well dressed Hobgoblin man. It's too far to be able to hear them.. but it seems the Hobgoblin is some kind of butler, or fixer, for the house you're all off to tonight. The Hobgoblin meeting with three others as well. All of them coming, seeming to give some kind of report, and then heading back out into the city.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Abigail is going to move out over toward the house, but away from the hobgoblin, and attempt to find an area to see what she can of the property and then sneak over the fence and into the shrubs.
However, if she notices she is being watched again prior to going over, she will refrain from doing so, and instead go back to the tavern, buy a couple of drinks, and see if Barnacle is up for some stories... (might as well not waste the entire afternoon, can still nurse my ego with some ale - fracking minotaur).

...do I need a climb check if I have a climb speed?
2nd hour - Tarak heads back to the ship to finish getting ready. He does spend some time seeing if his flickering blade could be carried stealthily. Not finding anything that makes him happy and wishing he could carry his long sword and shield Tarak goes to meditate.
3rd hour - Tarak spends the time in meditation and prayer looking for guidance and clearing his mind.
Morgan looks at Abigail, it's hard to tell with Tabaxi facial expression but any observer with true sight would know that Morgan has a distinct and power "This *****!?!" look on his face. Morgan goes to say something and then stops and instead says "I want you to know that I care about you, and it's because of that, that what you said hurt me deeply."
Morgan listens to Rollo, flabbergasted, "Hey, guys... this is a trap... or at the best case scenario it's a surprise ambush... and by that I mean that they are surprised to find that they are in a good position to ambush us, and then they ambush us. I'm ninety-eight percent sure they only have beef with me, and don't know I work for you so... I'm not sure was the protocol is for calling out of an RSVP, but if showing up with 5 instead of 6 is a big deal I'm going to find a replacement so you're 6 can remain 6. You guys just have to be cool. I can' already tell you're not going to be 'oh god! why does everyone want to kill Morgan? such a hassle! We'll I know what I'm like and I largely agree with people that want to kill me, and I know you agree with me. So let's all be professional and try to get through this."
Morgan visits their criminal contact, or the Raven Mercenaries if one isn't' available "Look I need someone who can dress fancy, have enough social graces to get by, but largely stay quite and nod. Case the place for a later job, I don't care but no funny business while you're on this job. In the 2 percent chance things go sideways just leave, I'll be sulking about to make sure nothing follows you. 50 gp for a breeze job, looking pretty, not bad work for an afternoon."
Hour 1: While Tarak and Lafetha are busy getting measured for some rather nice clothing, you spend your time searching around. Eventually you do come across another gentleman - a person much like yourself who happens to run on different boats for the coin and sometimes to lay a bit low. Bobby Bones. You do remember, some time ago, that one of Bobby's employers owes you a favor. And Bobby here... is laying a bit low from the gambling debts he's incurred. A job for a job - it's easy enough to do - as Bobby agrees to be you for this party, and you write a little note to mail off and settle the debt.
Hour 2: Mr. Firmin intercepts as you're both approaching the Windhook. Taking a glance around to make sure nobody is watching - luckily they're too busy trying to find the cat that got away... Firmin and you spend some time discussing and going over the details, giving Bobby here a passable knowledge of the crew and recent locals so that it won't seem to weird.
Hour 3: Satisfied... you still have time for yourself!
Tarak....
You go through your ritual chants and motions. Eventaully meeting this new faced "Morgan," with Mr. Firmin alongside helping to guide the conversation. Giving the hints and clues as to making sure everyone is on the same page. Still you recite scriptures and find the peace between mind, body, and spirit.
Lafetha....
Hour 3 you do.... what?
Abigail....
(No climb check needed, you're able to effortlessly scale it)
You jump up, and swing your body over and around the not quite ten foot tall fence. Landing with a soft thud. You slip around and glance in some of the small windows of a few houses. Some of the staff is inside; all wearing a similar uniform to what that Hobgoblin wore. Inside it's clear the room is built for Loxodon and other giant folk from the size of the chairs and furniture. But you're unfortunately not able to make out too much of what may be inside.. or what room is specifically used for what. The layout of these compound homes and their design is just... odd. It's also possible they build down into the earth; not giving you any line of sight from your vantage point. To find out any more, you'd have to break in and sneak around inside...
However, based on the layout, you do think you may be able to leave some equipment hidden in the bushes near the front and sides of the home. You know time isn't necessarily on your side anymore.. with just over a hour left. It would be easily enough to leave some items here for yourself, or even grab a few small items and leave them here for the crew as a whole in case things go bad.
(4 small items, or, 2 one handed items / 1 one-handed and 2 small / or 1 two-handed or heavy item. Double if you spend the next hour running items back and forth to the hiding spots)
It would definitely give you enough time to get polished before the event. Or, you could certainly try to stay and scout where you are. See if there is any additional information by laying low and watching for an hour could provide (Investigation check).
Abigail decides that it might be best to place some equipment onsite, just in case it is needed. However, not having originally planned for such an action, she is woefully under equipped. She hides her two Tabaxi hand axes, before peering up at the sky, "Not much time left... I wonder what Rolland would hate more, unprofessional conduct or unpreparedness. If I stay and watch for the next hour, I may still come up with nothing... Then I will be under-prepared in both instances. However, if I stay and find out something critical, then he may excuse my lack of professionalism. Still, I could run back and place a few more weapons here for the others. At least then I can be certain of successfully preparing. Grr... I am not a captain yet, I am still just a member of a crew... I know what I need to do."
Abigail heads back to the Windhook to find Captain Wednesday.
She informs Captain Wednesday that she has found a way to stash a few weapons on-site, but that it will mean not being ready for the party.
If Captain Wednesday would prefer her be ready for the party, she will stay and get ready.
If he wants her to stash some additional weapons on-site, then she will approach Tarak and see if there is are some backup items he wants on-site. If he cannot narrow it down, or whatever, then she will leave a short sword and shield.

Morgan sees Bobby is getting settled and nods, "Okay, Mr. Firmin I'm going to find a place close to the sight, so if need be I can provide tactical support. I know, I know" Morgan's voice goes to an unsettlingly accurate mimicry of Mr. Firmin "Morgan, last time you did that, everyone died!" Morgan's voice goes back to normal, "But last time I got distracted by someone like the guy we're talking to now, so now when he distracts me... I'll actually be on task. I think I explained that well enough, you get it. Off to do cool Spy stuff. BYE!" Morgan will sneak over to the target's house trying to find a discrete place to camp out stealth20 and looks around perception8
The Captain taps his foot for a moment. "As much as I do appreciate what you'd likely be trying to do... I'd rather have you cleaned up so we can put on a good impression. Just just to hide a dagger or something on you. I don't want to get caught flat footed in there in case this is a trap. Go.....take a... bath?" the Captain quirks a brow for a moment, unsure if Tabaxi bathe like he does. "Or at least get some purfume on you to hide the fact we live on a boat."
Morgan...
You clang against the gate, climbing up over it loudly before falling off with a resounding thud. Hearing some commotion from the sudden clang, you scramble to hide in some bushes. It's as good of a spot as any. At first, you see a well dressed Hobgoblin, as well as two other Loxodon's with simple shields and polearms. Rather well dressed, but not very well armored. They take a look around where you were, walking right by you, but not actually noticing you from your hiding spot.
It's a few moments later that your own target walks over, getting a bit of a incident report. His trunk rising into the air as he takes in a deep inhale, before looking around at the direction you're in. "Well... keep a active lookout. And give our guests a pat down before they come in. After all, don't need anyone attempting to rob the place." The Hobgoblin head of house gives a nod, heels clicking together a bit as he stands more at attention. "As for me, I have to go and take care of something. I may miss the meeting with our guests. Let the lady of house know." He turns, walking off.
You know this is a lie. And you know that you've been caught. A quick glance around does show you a familiar passage you have entered this home before in. The back servants entrance. Likely where any of the kitchen staff would be. Looking around a bit more, you see a group coming down the street... time apparently no longer on your side as you recognize the silhouette of the crew.
With everyone ready, and both Lafetha and Tarak looking quite dashing in their newly tailored high fashion clothing, the crew walks over to the homestead. Seeing the gate, and loxodon guards standing at the front. Nice, fashionable clothing. Shield. Long Polearm that is likely more for decoration than actual combat. But yet, they nod once you all approach.
"Orders are to do a simple search of everyone," one of them states. Mr. Firmin and Rollo both go through first, getting padded down before the others.
((If attempting to bring something along it must be a light weapon. Roll sleight of hand. Success means you have it on your person. Failure, and they take it and place it in a secured locked box inside and will return it when it's time to leave. Tarak decided not to bring anything per previous posts))
Inside, the home is a series of rooms built to connected rooms to connected rooms. Eventually there are some hallways, but they seem more about linking up the array of "houses" that are each built into a circle, surrounding the middle area where some light music is playing. A few minstrels playing a small array of string instruments. Every so often, another one of those guards is placed by a door that seems to lead to some stairs that descend to the lower levels, keeping the more private chambers away from prying eyes compared to the gathering rooms and guest bedrooms.
"I thought we'd be the only ones here," Rollo quietly says to the crew as they enter. He takes a small bit of food that's passed around by a serving staff member that's handing them out. "Mingle. Learn if we're bidding for this contract or if we have it. Find and exit points and escape routes if this goes south. My gut is telling me something... and it ain't about the food."
Off in one of the rooms, the Matron of the House is discussing something with a few of the others. Above her fireplace is a large coat of arms - a Loxodon face with Six Tusks - sits above it. (History to know more. Advantage for Abigail and Lafetha)
Morgan you do notice them enter, them get searched, and then continue onward inside. The guards maintain their post while there's a bit of the sound of a door opening and closing from the rear; servants getting a chance to exit the hot kitchen and be around back.

Morgan mutters to themself "crud, He probably knows where I am on account of Loxodon's" int check 20 "Super Hearing. they have such big ears they can hear everything. this is science... maybe I can use this to my advantage... but first..."
Morgan leaves a note in the bushes it says:
"Dearest [Insert Name Morgan thinks they Remember],
I know our shared dark patron has tasked us both with killing each other but could you not? That guy is a jerk-wad. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that. So if you could be cool and not try to kill me or my friends I'd appreciate it.
Love,
Morgan
P.S. Sorry I tried to kill you last time. enclosed it what I've been told is the socially appropriate amount to ease such a Faux Pas.
XOXO
P.P.S. If you don't forgive me you have to give these back. So just keep these on your person while you try to hunt me so I can get it back if I kill you in self defense."
Morgan leaves 200 gp and the cloak of the Cloak of Manta Ray. They tap their heels together "I should have remembered I had these in the first place." and jumps over the gate athletics16. As they walk away they look forlornly at the house, "Sorry team, you're on your own... but I believe in you." Morgan goes back to the Windhook and eventually gets bored, and pretends to steer the boat while acting out pirate battles in which they are the captain.

Tarak nods at Rollo then drifts off, mingling. He draws upon his training as a paladin of the Faith skills relating to presenting himself as best as possible, greeting, and getting to know the other guests.
Abigail bathes and puts on her nice clothing, feeling instantly out of place in it. "Reminder to myself to see if I can get a tailor to add an interior pocket for more easily concealing things."
She slips on her flashy Claw Barbs, flexing her claws in and out, and marveling at how well they look. "Also a reminder to myself... See if I can get some diamond tipped versions of these little beauties."
Finally, she attempts to secure a dagger around her leg (Sleight of Hand:5 )

However, if I stay and find out something critical, then he may excuse my lack of professionalism. Still, I could run back and place a few more weapons here for the others. At least then I can be certain of successfully preparing. Grr... I am not a captain yet, I am still just a member of a crew... I know what I need to do."
Abigail heads back to the Windhook to find Captain Wednesday.
BYE!" Morgan will sneak over to the target's house trying to find a discrete place to camp out stealth 20 and looks around perception 8

Abigail....
What do you all do?

They tap their heels together "I should have remembered I had these in the first place." and jumps over the gate athletics 16.
