Morgan looks at the danger sign and takes a deep breathe, "okay team. here's the plan. These bug guys seems to have a nasty opener so, I get my magic armor up, walk in there with torch in hand, they sonic stun me, Tarak and Wilson join me in combat afterwards, and while we have the whole room distracted Abigail and Lafetha sneak in and find what we actually need, and we leave with the prize."
Tarak puts out an arm to stop Morgan “Wait a moment my brave friend we need to be careful here. Sorrow may be asleep or may still be awake from earlier. Let’s see if we can tell before we enter. If we can hear her sleeping then I would suggest having our very stealthy friend go in first.” He nods toward Abigail. “She may not see Sorrow but she might be able to find the box and bring it back to us.”
Abigail looks at Tarak like he is crazy. "You want me, to go down there, into the nesting room of a giant shadow creatures; which is reportedly immortal, mind you... On the off chance that it might have gone to bed?" She pauses for dramatic emphasis (Performance: 6), before stating, "I like Morgan's plan better. More... chivalrous."
Morgan shakes their head, "No luck, She's in there and she's awake." Morgan casts Armor of Agathys 3rd level. They look to Abigail, "Hey I know we keep volunteering you for the dangerous solo missions but that's because you keep pulling them off, this time I'm literally betting my life you can do this. ((d6 bardic inspiration)) Morgan lights a torch and then walks into 21

Abigail feels a twinge in her chest as Morgan's icy blasphemy encases them.
"Ugh... just like Morgan to do something like that... Right when we are about to go do something so stupid." she thinks to herself.
"Hey, Morgan... You may not understand this, but... If you look around, and you cannot find me; just go. Get out of here. Do not stop to wait for me or find me, just make sure you get yourself to safety as well."
Abigail positions herself in the back of the group as they proceed into the cave below, readying herself to sneak off and look for the case.
Also, in case it makes a difference to how combat starts, Abigail will be sneaking into the cave, just outside of the rest of the group's light. (Stealth: 26); however, this might just be my Turn 1 action. Peeling off against the wall.
Morgan enters. The tunnel opening up into the chamber. It's oval in shape, with smooth walls and nearly 25 foot tall ceilings. The light catches on the ceiling, a cascade of colors scattering a bit; like a prism. The colors similar to the light you saw when that Starfall happened.
Dozens and dozens of eggs line the walls in large clusters, at least 30 on a quick scan of the area. All of them seeming to have hatched, or be cracked in ways that don't appear like they survived. Rolled into discard piles to the perimeter. (A, B, C, D, E and NEST) Along the floor, the blind bugs scatter to Morgan's movement.
Sorrow is there. Pacing and moving around a current clutch of eggs. Five in total. Three of them clearly having hatched. One is looking rotten, while the other.. you'd have to get closer. Sorrow's wings unfurl as she looks over at Morgan. A quick flap as she lowers her head. Teeth coming to bear. Smoke billows out from her. Red eyes narrowing. A small rumble of that bass tone echoing in the room.
She's not yet moving to engage. As if giving Morgan a moment to turn and flee.

Morgan winks, "what? Leave without my future captain? Never! also you're better than hiding then I am at looking for you so I'd just leave immediately. Just yell for a retreat when you get the box to safety. we'll get paid, we'll all save up for a ship of our own, and I'll get uncursed easy parcheesi."

Tarak steps up beside Morgan. “You have bravery of a Paladin, but you won’t do this alone.” He pulls out his Pipes, nods to Abigail in respect, and begins to play a haunting tune. (DC15 wis save or frightened)

Wilson again pulls the gem from his pocket gun in one hand pointing the Gem at Sorrow a single beam of absurdly bright light streaks out at sorrows eyes. DC 15 con save or be blind for 1 minute, can repeat save at the end of each of its turns to try and end the effect.
Summary: Abigail hides, beginning to move around in one direction after Morgan steps out and provokes the creature. The two moving in opposite directions from one another. Morgan lets out a sharp barb, definitely getting the beasts attention. Tarak steps up with Morgan as well, pulling out a haunting set of pipes. Sorrow's head moves back, eyes darting away from the two that had moved away from the enterence. Clearly not wanting anything to do with him, or now them.
That's when vines wrap around Sorrow, pulling at her (2), making her move closer to the entryway. Wilson's gem lets out a bright light, shining directly into it's face. It's eyes squinting but not blinded.
Sorrow, not wanting to stay looking at Tarak shadowsteps to the front of the tunnel. Blocking Lafetha and Wilson inside of it with her body. Lafetha ducks underneath a bite from the beast, but her claws come out with a quick gash (25 total; the second 2d6 is Necrotic)
She then let's out that bass note... it filling the entire chamber and beyond.
Situation: ((All. DC 13 CON Save or be Paralyzed until Sorrow's next action. Morgan gets bonus for being near Tarak)
Abigail is hidden and in the clear. There are 6 different spots she can search through (Perception or Investigation. (The old egg Clusters, A, B, C, D, E - closest is A and furthest is E. As well as her NEST itself.. although you doubt the gnome was good enough to hide something under the beast. Check result under 11 breaks stealth. Stealth DC if not engaged with enemy is 16)
Morgan and Tarak have flanking positions on Sorrow, but can also search any of the egg deposits as well (reverse order is closest, E, D, C, B, A).
Wilson and Lafetha are trapped in the tunnel entryway with Sorrow. The tunnel is wide enough for her to slink down after you. Her face and claws right in front of you both. (Acrobatics to attempt to get out of the entryway and towards others; counts as 1/2 movement. DC 16)

Perception to listen 12
Abigail creeps to the edge of the light (to get away from immediate noise of the group's breathing and such), attempting to listen down the tunnel.
Perception: 14
Morgan blinks, "um... yeah.... thanks..."
Perception 7
Morgan hears it first, followed by the others. The low breathing. The shuffling. Cracks and low thrums.
She's down there. And she is likely awake.
