Raddunth moves up the stairs to the east, looking to trade blows with the kobold in front of him. Raddunth swings 2 hand axes at the swolbold, slicing him for 9 damage. The kobold responds by jabbing with his spear, one handed (15), but because he just got hit, his spear goes just over Raddunth's shoulder.

Lem, seeking to protect his friend, peeks out from around the corner (3/4 cover), raises his mechanical arm, and releases 3 magical darts, dealing 2 damage to each of the swolebolds, and 4 damage to the purple-robed kobold. While your arm is outstretched, the hooded kobold sees the missile coming towards him, and shoots a mote of flame back at Lem (5), but Lem moves back behind the corner just in time. Lem, you can feel the wall heat up as the flame impacts the wall next to him.

Zashier, you make your way up the ramp, Yklwa in hand, and swing at the kobold in front of you, but perhaps your depth perception is off by a bit coming up the ramp, or you telegraphed your move….for whatever reason, the kobold easily dodges, drops his shield and jabs his spear forward with 2 hands (12) but is unable to connect with the giant target in front of him!

Thistle drops her bow, her eyes on Yokini’s many wounds. She tells her diminutive friend to stay behind cover as she puts on her shield and moves up to Zashier, calling out that she is part gnome (going to put you on the lower part of the ramp, behind Zashier)

Kobold Deception for Insightful fighting: no point rolling. Never gonna beat that 26.

 The other Swolebold believes you, and throws another spear at you (5), but Zashier (with his protection style fighting, and if he is wearing a shield) throws up his shield to protect you. Zashier, if you do not have your shield, that attack goes back to being an 18, which ties (hits), doing 6 damage to Thistle.

I just wanted to give you a chance to use your reaction in game, since we are not at a table, and reactions get a little messy in play by post.

Thistle, as you are moving up to Zashier, your powers of observation are so astute, you notice a necklace hanging off the purple-robed kobold's neck.

Raddunth and a swolbold going toe-to-toe in the east, Zashier and Thistle to the North with two swole-bolds and a purple-robed, magical kobold.

Thistle shouts, "Keep the purple one alive, if you can!" Then she charges up the ramp at the kobold she studied so critically, slashing at it.

Move: Up the ramp to the kobold
Action: Attack that kobold with her saber. 21 to hit, for 17 total slashing damage (SA already added)

In the same motion Zashier snaps his shield out to deflect spear, he is lashing out with the Yklwa, hoping  to catch it while its guard was still open. Whether the spear finds purchase or not, having hopefully goaded the kobold back at least, he turns again to try and clamor up the ledge to the north, giving Thistle move to advance further.

Movement(including check, if needed): 16 to climb ledge and move one space to the north.

Yokini moves to the edge of the wall and slides down so she's sitting. She takes a deep breath, cocks her crossbow, and leans out just long enough to fire a glowing bolt at one of the non-purple ones before sitting up straight again out of sight.

Raddunth will move off the stairs, but continue his duel with that eastern swo-bold.

Lem feels the stone heat up and raises his good hand, poking his head out again and ready to return fire. Hearing Thistle's command, he shifts his aim to whichever swolbold is remaining.

Yokini decides she can follow Thistle’s instructions and still contribute to the fight. She puts her back against the wall, slides down into a sitting position, then leans out around the wall shooting a magical arrow at the closest swole-bold. Though it is a difficult position, she manages to execute the maneuver flawlessly, damaging the kobold for 8 magical piercing damage.

Yokini, because of your nat 20, I want to add a ruling that your magical arrow does its crit damage to the first kobold, magically goes through its target, then continues on hitting the other kobold behind it, doing standard damage with no mods 6.

Your arrow hits both swolebolds, passing through both enemies, and finally hitting the wall where it disappears into thin air. Yokini then sits back up, protected behind the wall.

With your permission, I would like to add that feature to your crossbow - on a nat 20, it does crit damage to the intended target, then passes through in a straight line, doing default damage with no mods, to any enemies in a line behind it. Once it hits a solid surface (or goes 80 feet, whatever comes first) it disappears.

Zashier, after blocking the incoming spear and sparing Thistle, moves to the side to make room for Thistle to join him in the fray. As he moves, he takes a swing, but the kobold side-steps the attack, and northern-most kobold swings, jabbing out at the elephant man (To hit: 22) for 6 damage.

Thistle charges up the ramp, slashing at the swole-bold in front of her. She cuts him for 17 damage, and he jabs back with his spear (To hit: 15) but as her scimitar connects with kobold flesh, he unintentionally jerks his spear at the last minute, missing Thistle. He looks very bloody...

Lem was aiming for another shot at the purple robed kobold, but after hearing Thistle’s command to try and keep him alive, he tries to shift his aim, but its too late. The fire bolt goes off mid-movement, missing the kobolds and exploding against the wall behind them.

Raddunth moves forward, circling the kobold in front of him, slicing twice with his hand axes. Since the kobold dropped his shield to use his spear 2 handed, both of those attacks hit for a total of 11 damage. You slice him twice, and he is looking very bloody. He lashes out at you with his spear (To hit: 23), and his attack connects for ? damage (see damage below, dont want to cause a "potentially manipulated dice" mesasge).

The purple-robed kobold turns to face Zashier, and does some sort of incantation, and Zashier feels funny in his brain...(Wisdom Saving Throw: 8) but Zashier is able to shake it off.

To the east, Raddunth is trading blows with a swole-bold who also looks very bloody.

Round 5 starts NOW

Zashier's leg nearly gives out from the latest stab. Breathing heavily and covered in several wounds at this point, the only thing seeming to keep the elephantine man standing now was pure determination. Shifting around so that his weight rested more on his least injured leg, Zashier leveled the heavy tipped spear once more to a swolbold, and opened his mouth to say something.

Words failed him in that moment. Yet still, he lunged forth to try and bring at least one swolbold down once and for all, before moving into an almost flanking position to the purple robed kobold if the guard the should fall.

Action: [Lethal] Yklwa - Attack: 22Damage: 6 of piercing damage to North Swolbold.

Thistle will stab at the kobold in front of her (or the other one, if Zashier takes it down), trying to cut her way to the robed one.

Bonus Action: If Zashier kills the one she already examined she will use Insightful Fighting on the other one, Insight: 24, vs Deception(Cha). If her examined kobold is still upright, she'll not use this Bonus Action.
Action: Attack a kobold (per above) with her saber. 13 to hit, for 7 slashing damage.

Yokini cocks her crossbow and leans out again, still staying low, and fires another glowing bolt at the nearest kobold target before leaning back behind the wall again.

Thinking back on what she saw during her brief view of the northern front, she realizes Zashier needs some help. She flips two switches on her gadget glove and opens a small compartment. A tiny metal bee zooms out of it, homing in on the loxodon. It lands on his back and stings him with a small amount of a potent healing potion before zooming back and crawling back inside the compartment.

Healing word reskinned: 4

Lem steps out from behind the wall and tries again to use his formidable powers of persuasion, again in draconic. "Lay down your arms in the name of the dragon! Where are the gnomes?"

(He really thinks this is going to work, though it won't. Persuasion/intimidation: 1)

He still fires off a fire bolt at the strongest looking swolbold:

Raddunth wonders why he is by himself on the east side... He bathed 2 days ago, so it can't be body odor, and he wiped off most of the recent blood & guts. So it must be the swo-kobold that smells bad.

Lem steps out from behind the wall, attempting to intimidate the kobolds, and persuade them to stop this fight. However, his attempt at "menacing" falls flat as the kobolds throw their spears at him (To Hit:12. 13) but they both miss as you duck back behind the corner, returning fire at the northernmost kobold, connecting for 6 damage.

Zashier feels the heat of the fire bolt as it burns away at the kobold in front of him. He opens and closes his mouth, but without much to say, tries once again to connect his Yklwa to a kobold….and this time succeeds for 6 damage.

Yokini readies her crossbow, leans out, and shoots another magical arrow, and again it hits the kobold and disappears into thin air.

The kobold tries to dodge the arrow, but is unable to - it hits him for 5 damage.

As the kobold dodges, Thistle swings her saber. She looks as if she is about to miss, almost as if she is swinging toward thin air, but the kobold actually moves into the way of the saber. Thistle had been paying close attention to the movement of the kobold, and was able to predict where he would move. She slices the kobold for 12 total damage, and finishes her swing with a flourish as the kobold drops to his knees, then falls forward off the platform.

Yokini flips two switches on her glove, releasing a small mechanical bee towards Zashier, which stings him…but instead of harming him, it actually heals him for 6 HP, then returns back to his hiding-hole in the glove.

Raddunth, smelling something unpleasant, determines it is the kobold, then swings both hand axes. The first hits one of the same spots as an earlier axe, in the kobolds shoulder. With this second hit, Raddunth severs the Kobold’s arm at the shoulder, and with his second hit finishes off the kobold in front of him.

Raddunth stands there, kobold blood dripping from his body, though he probably doesnt realize how barbaric he looks right now...

The hooded kobold extends his palm towards Thistle, blowing a magical puff of noxious gas at her (Con Save: 11) who doubles over in a coughing fit, taking 9 poison damage.

Round 6 begins now.

1 Swole-bold left, going toe-to-toe with Zashier. He has a spear and a shield, and is just starting to show signs of weakening.

1 hooded kobold near Thistle.

Zashier and Thistle to the North, Lem and Yokini safely out of harms way behind the corner, and Raddunth...not sure yet. Need to figure out if/where he would have moved after bringing down the kobold he was "playing" with.

Wiping her face with her elbow, Thistle eyes the magic-using kobold critically, then moves to attack with the flat of her saber!

Action: A non-lethal attack on the spellbold with her saber, 17 to hit, for 4 non-lethal slashing dmg.

Ooof.

Zashier flaps his ears awkardly, but only just suppress the reflex to trumpet after being stung. For unlike the blades of kobolds, he was /not/ expecting to get stung! Growling, Zashier gives the spear more of a flourish try and throw the remaining guard off balance prior to plunging his blade right through its magnificent muscles.

Yokini once again cocks her crossbow, causing a glowing bolt to appear. She takes a breath, leans out, pulls the trigger, and straightens up again to hide behind the wall. "I'm coming for ya, Mama," she says quietly. "You too, Nynoa."

Infused crossbow attack at prone disadvantage aimed at whichever kobold is the first one she sees: 14; damage: 10 magical piercing damage

Lem repeats his fire bolt, very tempted to use more powerful spells but still thinking about this frost storm character.

He steps fully out of cover and stays there, trying to draw fire from the two remaining kobolds.

Attack: 23 Damage: 7

Raddunth (after taking much too long thinking about it), yells out: "Do you have things under control over there, or should I help in 12-18 seconds?"

Action: Search the dead kobolds on this eastern platform, and look around. Looting the bodies, and seeing what there is to see. Do NOT touch that lever that dropped the rock on him earlier.
Perception: 3  (if Investigation, one less)

The party hears Raddunth’s voice from across the room, asking if they need his help. Raddunth, you search the kobolds and find a sling and a few spears they were using, and some cheap leather straps they were using as armor, as well as 4 copper pieces.

Thistle, after getting sprayed with poison, moves forward swiping with the flat side of her saber, but because of the poison, your eyes are watering and your swipe takes a big whiff over the kobold’s head.

But, you do get your sneak attack bonus in future rounds because of your successful insightful fighting.

The kobold Zashier is fighting still believes you are part gnome, and seeing you so close, strikes with his spear. 21 to hit. It pierces your side for 2 damage.

The sorcerous kobold, seeing you take a hit, attempts again to spray you with poison ( Con save: 19) but as your reflexes kick in, shifting to the side to lessen the blow of the spear, the poison spray misses you.

Zashier, after getting rudely poked by the bee, flaps his ears (resisting the urge to trumpet), and because it was so surprising, is shifted off balance as he tries to attack. He gets some HP, but is unable to connect on his attack.

Yokini steps out, pulls the trigger on her crossbow, and shifts back against the wall, but her arrow also misses its mark.

Lem also steps out, and boldly stays there, his fireboat striking true against the swole-bold in front of Zashier for 7 damage.

Only the two kobolds left, the swole-bold looking bloody, and the purple-robed kobold looking fresh as a daisy, and quite angry.

Round 7 starts, now.

Zashier stomps his foot, and lets out a subdued trumpet in finding his footing once more. After taking a moment more to size up his opponent, and note more careful its fighting stance, he again lashed out with his spear, hoping to put a quick and final end to the fight.
