With a careful combination of the Hallow spell and the restoration ritual, Ziia helps guide Del through turning the tunnels beneath the tree into a Fomorian-proof shelter.

Thanks, Del likes doing a solid for the folks we rescue. That's a 24 hour cast, and won't start until after our long rest, so others can get up to other shenanigans. They could even do some of the planar travel hoop work and get the material plane kids back home and the feywild rescuees back here - unless you want us all together for that

I took 1000 worth of gems off the shared treasure list to cover the cost of Hallow

Yes, you find the kids missing from the Free City, and many from other parts of Lomalos

Some of the Eladrin spend time turning the giant huts into livable spaces, others hitch Cathy the Cart to the tortoise and travel to the village to bring back any salvageable items. Sprites set up watch in the now-friendly bramble thicket.  Ad the word of your victory spreads, other local fey creatures gather, bringing food and aid to the camp. They join in the tree-healing ritual.

In time, the freed prisoners are able to rest and so are you.  There is no counter-attack by the Fomorians of hags, at least not for now.  (You can all take a well-deserved long rest.)

Mindartis and Althaea hug their parents back, "At least you aren't dead," Mindartis says. "I don't know what I would have done then."

"Likewise!" says Theocarus with a laugh as he slaps his son on the back. "It is good to see you and your sister home again. How goes your quest?"

"Well for the most part," Mindartis nods, "it's nice to be doing something good."

Quentin is happy to keep the ritual for the tree regrowth growing while Mindartis catches up and the others do whatever else they need. Though he does voice his new Scrying spell that he has picked up. 

FB divides her free day between M and the treetops

Snowball Jamboree? Squirrel Races? Nostalgic for her long-ago home in the Great Pixie Tree asks the pixies about life in the mighty trees of the feywild We have - had - only one in the mundane. I am helping Mindartis save them and stop the hags who hurt them! She takes note of the latest in pixie fashions as well, thinking about spending some gold she can't carry

From her perch on M's shoulder, she gushes to the parents Mindartis is the mightiest hero! He saved Zanderfell and all the frozen people and something about an eclipse! I am helping him save everything!

The rest of the day is spent in rest, restoring the tree, and preparing for the night and a possible assault.  Eventually, exhaustion takes over the camp,. and everyone finds a place to sleep in the tunnels or the giant huts.  Vindicarus sets up a series of sentries to keep watch through the night, but all remains peaceful. The Fomorians have been thoroughly routed, and if the hags still have a way into this place, they do not use it this night.

In the morning, the Eladrin are in much better shape.  While many are still in their winter aspect, others have changed to autumn, spring or summer.  Some continue the restoration ritual, as others discuss  the new town they mean to build here.  Many of the pixies and sprites begin weaving nests and basket homes in the upper branches, bickering a bit over what parts of the tree are pixie territory vs sprite territory.

Theocarus and Maendria invite their son and daughter to travel with them to their former home to gather what useful remnants they can find worth salvaging.  "The buildings may have been destroyed and looted, but there is little that the Fomorians could have done to anvils and millstones," Maendris says. "We may even find entire buildings worth moving and repairing."

Vindicarus asks about the rest of his villagers, and when the party can bring them back, and take the other prisoners away. "Not that they are unwelcome here," he assures you. "But we can offer little in the way of comfort and hospitality in the present circumstances, and I am sure they have homes they are eager to return to."

Del tells Vindicarus about their plan - once M and A are settled with their family, we can bring those that belong on the material to Yonpinigel - A spot near the Great Pixie Tree, our only tree like Everlost as far as we know - and with a combination of hoop's and they Feylord's powers we can return with those who belong in the Feywild. We will appear a bit away from your old village (Del describes the site) I suppose there is some risk, Chief, in that we have to pop through the Shadowfell Mesa in the course of resetting the hoop's destination, but your people would not be with us then. 

Del is ready to go once M does the family thing

"Of course," Mindartis readily agrees. "We didn't... spend much time there before we found our way here. Better to see what's left I suppose."

"Don't think of it like that," Altheae laughs, "I think this place looks cooler anyways."

Raven spends time working with Ethen, practing with weapons, showing him ways of scouting and moving quietly, basicly doing the mentor thing. They are both ready to go whenever the others are. The dragonlings are let run loose in the area around the tree, playing with the children and having their freedom. Her tressym is also given space to stretch ehr wingsa nd get out of the tapestry for a while.

Quentin and Cup is ready to go when everyone else is as well, just noting that we should try and find the last tree once we're done helping M's family. 

Mindartis and Althaea spend the day with their parents, combing the village for anything left in usable condition by the Fomorians.  At some point, someone brings the rest of the Eladrin back, and they help move what remains of the village to the protected bramble circle around the Everlost tree, which, by the way, is looking much better as the restoration song continues. For the first time in Raven's experience, the little dragons wear themselves out playing with the children, and while there are a few mishaps with electric sparks, nobody gets hurt and nothing is seriously damaged. 

The children, sprites and pixies from the Westwoods are eager to get home, so as soon as the new village seems well on its way to being repaired, you gather them together and prepare to leave.

Vindicarus thanks you all again. "You came to our aid in our time of greatest need, gave us a new home, and restored our people. I wish we were able to reward you as you deserve, but know this: our blessings go with you, and if you ever need our aid, call us and we will come."

Flitterbug is very mature in mediating fairy disputes and advising about defensive measures in case the uglies come back, and very patient with Mindartis paying attention to his family. But she'll sit on his shoulder when convenient, and talk about the clever things she can do in the next battle (Tidal Wave! Stinky Cloud!)

Del says prayers of relief with every step of the teleportation shenanigans that go off hitchless. He plays songs and games to keep the kids entertained, and helps with the works as needs be. As they're readying to go he warns Ziia they will be leaving the Feywild, and have an underwater adventure ahead of them.

To the others: Bringing those folks back was one burden lifted, bringing these kids home will be another, and the next after that is springing the other dragonling from Brinehold. Let's be off to Yonpinigel

If there are few enough kids and fairies to travel by tapestry that'd be easier - Either way we get hoop #2 cued up for the Great Pixie Tree Caverny Gnometown

Quentin makes sure to tell everyone that he can give water breathing to everyone but it takes ten minutes to cast so be careful and don't go diving in willy nilly. He also talks to Cup and see's her growing pyromaniac powers letting her know that fire won't be able to solve every problem and its up to wizards to be clever not just powerful. 

Mindartis smiles and listens to Flitterbug with interest, the pixes excitement about magic always something interesting to listen to. Althaea spends more time focusing of some things in her songbook, testing out some new songs.

Mindartis and Althaea look at each other, some unspoken words passing between them as everyone discusses their new plans. "Let's just hope it's not too soon," Althaea finally says, "we wouldn't want you to face so much danger again so soon."

The children and small fey squeeze into the portable dungeon.  A few refuse to enter, and insist on accompanying you on foot. You depart the Everlost Tree and it's newly-growing city to the cheers and thanks of the Eladrin, and the proud tears of Mindartis's and Alathea's parents.

Stepping through the hoop, you find yourself once more under the Great Pixie Tree. Even in this short time, you can see that the roots have grown and strengthened in your absence. The chanting song of the druids of the Restoration thrums through the air and echoes in the tunnels. This doesn't seem to impress the elf children with you, though.  You notice one small boy nudge another with his elbow and whisper, "Another big poxy tree root."  Judging from the expressions of the others, the feeling is generally shared.

Where will you go form here?

(Sorry I have not been around much. Lots of work and stuff. Summer schedule starts in a few weeks, and I hope to find it easier to keep track of what's going on then.)

First let us get these poor traumatized kids aboveground Del says, and once we are  - some of the fey are from around here, and some kids and other fey are from Free City, and Cara and Toth are from Lomolos - I think? Any other places? So we are supposed to meet Sir Thami and Terrabraxerazz who were finding us a ship and scouting. But we did pretty well getting our Feylord's folk back home so we don't need to run. Not dally, but we can be deliberate...

I suppose Yonpinegel or Free City would be good place if we need supplies for the underwater adventure - Q can take care of air but waterproofing, any other magic stuff? Have you given much thought regarding luggage, Mr Banks?

We can pay someone in Yonpinegel to take some of the kids home - there is probably a Fiskins relative available, and see if there are supplies here. Then Ziia can Transport via Plants to get us to Free City, drop the kids who belong there with Lt Hooleran and get stuff there if it ain't available here. Since we are flush, Del will get a couple more diamonds in case anyone needs Raise Dead

Do we need to slow down for end of semester stuff &or covering some character development play before we take off on the next big Brinehold journey

Well, Flitterbug wants some stuff in Yonpinegel Some nicer clothes, like proper Feywild style. And sparkly jewels, too. She demands. Mindartis has to pay for it - FB doesn't take a share of loot since she needs almost nothing and cannot carry much. But now she is spending maybe 20 of M's gold on bling
